The first time I tried ICO's pizza, I was unimpressed & underwhelmed. But then I gave it a second shot a couple months later and I'm glad I did! They have a two-slice special and you can mix-and-match flavours. I recommend you go in-person and look at the pies to determine which look best. I like my pizza on the greasier side (if you don't like greasy pizza this spot isn't for you). The staff is also very friendly, which is a big reason why I gave it a second chance. I don't know why I haven't reviewed before, but I've been ordering food from ICO for 20 years. It's some of the best takeout in the area. I work at a nearby company, and often have lunch delivered for visiting customers who are impressed with whatever they buy. My wife has had ICO cater many times to a nearby university with the same result. My go-to is the chicken parm & the Greek salad. Their pizzas are among the best in the area (best being subjective). Their sausage & meatballs are awesome, I need to ask them where they get their sausage, salads fresh and green. If you order the lasagna, have a sturdy spatula. Great sauce.Many dozens of deliveries and pickups are usually right on time. Generous portions, the staff is friendly and are always busy when I'm there. AMAZING!!! I ordered the fried fish and I have to say, it was THE BEST fried fish I have ever had! The crust was thick and crunchy and it had such a unique flavor. It almost tasted like it had a hint of nutmeg. Whatever it was...I'm hooked! We also had the mozzarella sticks which were full of delicious tasty cheese! I would love to try more of their food so I will definitely be ordering again. Delivery took a while but we ordered during peak dinner time. Our delivery person was very courteous. Everything on the menu is particularly good and reasonably priced. My favorites are cheese pizza, wings, lasagna.

Okay, now we're done with them too. Every time we've tried their wings , we've regretted it. The menu says that their wings are "a little on the crispy side" which is a gross understatement. They ruin the wings with overcooking so much so that the wings is like a rock on the outside and much of the meat is leathery and dry. They are also small. A waste of $16! The so-called garlic knots are anything but garlicky. They were absolutely flavorless, too brown on the outside and tasted stale. Frankly, Walmart brand frozen garlic knots are way better. Another big disappointment was that their previously excellent blue cheese dressing with tarragon no longer has any noticeable chunks of blue cheese in it. Before, it was loaded which was the feature which made it excell. No more for us. We are through. read more

The sausage and onion sub was fabulous. The meat was not greasy and the flavor was really great. The onion rings were also delicious with almost no fat residue and the onion did not pull all the way out as soon as you took a bite. I've never been there physically but it's pretty much the best Italian delivery that I've had around Ithaca. Their chicken and veal parm are both very good and I highly recommend paying extra to get their manicotti with it. Pizza and wings come fast and they have a huge selection of sauces and toppings. On Wednesday, April 8th, the Salino's showed up at my medical office with a free lunch for my staff in appreciation of the local health care response to the COVID pandemic. How awesome are they??? They brought pasta with meatballs, pizza, salad, and cheesecake/cookies from Dolce Delight. The food was WONDERFUL and so appreciated! Their gesture meant so much to the 12 of us and we can not thank them enough!! THE FOOD WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS. Thank you! I've only ordered carryout and if your order is more than $10, delivery is free. I have ordered their pizza and eggplant parm. Their crust is too doughy, but I liked the parm. For 13, you get two sides with it. I would not recommend their garlic knots because its not garlicky enough. I will definitely order from them again! read more

Their catering is terrible! First, the food was delivered 15 minutes later than arranged. Second, they did not provide serving spoons. (This is okay if they let you know this so you can prepare ahead of time.) Third, they forgot to send the platter of salad ($60) with the order. That was another 20 minutes late; by then, everyone had already eaten. Fourth, the food was terrible! The Penne with ICO sauce was the most tasteless pasta that I have ever tasted! I could not eat it. And, the meatballs were just as tasteless. Fifth and final, I had to call them twice (first to ask why they were late, and 2nd to tell them there was no salad in the order), and they never said the words "I'm sorry". It was just "We'll be late" and "Your salad is on its way." They only apologized for their bad service after I said that we would never use their catering again. Right down the road from Ithaca College (IC) lies a little Ithaca gem. The people there are very service oriented and friendly. The pizza is crunchy when you get it with eggplant. We have been ordering from them for years. The last couple calzones we have ordered were not made to order. Last time we ordered 2 calzones, one with double ricotta. There was no ricotta on either of our calzones let alone double on the one. Called to remedy the error and they wanted to remake them but it would take another hour after waiting an hour for delivery. So we settled on a credit. We got our wedding catered by ICO. The good: -The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the roast chicken, Greek salad, vegetable lasagna, cheese lasagna, and roast potatoes. We were trying to balance a lot of dietary restrictions (gluten-free people, vegetarians/vegans) and there were lots of solid choices. I was skeptical of the veggie lasagna at first because it had SO many different varieties of veggies in it but it was stellar, and I'm mad I didn't get leftovers! The potatoes were so good, just a little bit of spice to them. Since we weren't able to try stuff beforehand (see the bad points below), I was worried that the chicken would be dry but it was amazing, too, perfectly crisp on the outside and so juicy on the inside. -They delivered promptly and included all the serving spoons and stuff. -the owner, who I emailed at first, was very pleasant The not-so-good: -we weren't able to try the food beforehand. The catering menu is different from the regular store menu, and when we asked if we would be able to try the catering menu before we ordered from it, they told us we would have to actually order the full amount. So, if we wanted to sample to chicken, we would have had to order a pan of like 25 pieces. That was kind of weird and off-putting, but because the place was reviewed so highly we decided to chance it after tasting some food off the regular menu (we got a meat lasagna and a Greek salad). Still, it would have been nicer if we didn't have to do that. -when we walked in to inquire about the catering menu the staff wasn't that friendly or interested. I mean, I get it, you work in a pizza shop so it's probably not like your life's passion or anything, but it made me skeptical about getting catering from them for the most important and expensive party I'm likely to ever be in charge of. -the cheese lasagna, while tasty, could have benefitted from a lot more sauce and noodles. It was SO much ricotta and mozz. I still have it in my freezer and I mix in veggies and meats and extra sauce and noodles when I reheat it. I hope they can make some adjustments because again, I'm really glad we went with them and the food was awesome. Next time I'm in Ithaca I definitely want to order some more stuff off their regular menu. read more

I have called there twice to place an order and the girl taking the order was laughing so much and so hard she could not talk. I told her what I wanted and she said ok and hung up laughing. Never gave me a total or time it would be ready. This is the second time this has happened to me. Food is great but the girls giggling so hard they can barely talk is a real turn off. I spoke to owner about it and she basically covered for them. WOW . Took my number and never called back. Really not good for business. These girls need to pull it together. I love this place I go about 3 times a week sometimes twice a day to eat. All the food here is great and they have really good lunch specials every day on pizza.
