This little quiet place is perhaps one of Temple's lesser known joints. Nothing on the menu is going to bust your wallet, and yet you will definitely get your money's worth, as the entrees are very generously portioned. To make up for that, when you dine in, the food is served on strong paper plates. And the place isn't real fancy, just a few cheap tables. But this place is all about the food. I have yet to find an item I have not been satisfied with as they are all tasty. And the XXL pizza for $9.95 is a steal. I once was in charge of food for a Monday Night football gathering with six other guys, all with decent appetites (week before we easily downed a chicken tender meal: 36 tenders, family fries, okra and corn). Lost my order sat there for 45 minutes... There were only two other people there... Couldn't believe it!! Really!!

The pizza was good, but the service was TERRIBLE. I begin the transaction with stating I was interested in the 11.99 special. I place my order and realize the number was extremely incorrect. I was charged 16.99 and the cashier failed to inform me. So we void that transaction and the employee Megan had an awful attitude about it. We finally get it correct and wait patiently for the pizza to be finished. I have my teenage brother with me, and the entire wait the two female employees stand behind the counter and proceed to gossip about very inappropriate things involving men and showing pictures of said men to each other. I have lived in Temple since 2009. I've been making the same request for the entire time- to remove the sausage because my husband is allergic to MSG. This time the sausage was not removed and we were told it was ground beef. I was up all night with medical issues. The next day I called to let them know- I di not get an apology, I did not get a coupon, I did not get a request to come in and talk with the manager. I got "We cannot guarantee that your pizza won't have contaminants and it would be better if you don't us Italiano's in the future. This place was very disappointing. I heard very good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. When I walked in I was not acknowledged for a while. The girl looked right at me when I walked in and walked around to the back and stood at the register. I assumed that means she was ready for me to order. She had a terrible attitude and things went down hill from there. I ordered individual pizza slices. The pizza barely had sauce on it and it was very salty and greasy. It did not taste fresh at all. So far this place is close to the New York Pizza that I'm used to. We like our crust crispy and this was close enough. And in Texas to get a good pizza it's pretty hard. The pepperoni on the pizza is greasy, but I used my napkin to soak up the grease and the pizza was good to go!! Love it. There isn't much to complain about in terms of Italiano's. Their pizza is always hot and delicious. I lived in upstate NY for a year and a half and his place could complete with any pizza restaurant from that area, and as you can imagine, there's quite a few. If you can't decide on what to try, the Spinach and pepperoni rolls are a must. read more

Good little Italian place with your average Italian fare. First time here and had the Stromboli which came with a a small side of marinara sauce. Stromboli was good, the crust was a little soggy on the bottom which made it hard to cut, otherwise it was pretty good. House salad was generous with mozzarella cheese and black olives to give it that Italian taste. Didn't try anything else, maybe next time try the pizza which looked very popular. read more

I had a craving for Italian food especially pasta but didn't want to order from Olive Garden. I heard about Italiano's and their good reviews so I decided to check it out. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and a side salad. I noticed the prices were very affordable but then I can be very skeptical of low priced foods. After receiving my order it definitely had a great smell and was very hot. After getting back home I took it out and took a bite. I have to admit it was really good but wouldn't say great. It definitely fulfilled my hunger and filled me up quick. I prefer a thicker sauce but the sauce that was in my order was a little runny but still satisfying. The salad had an assortment of vegetables and the dressing was tasty. The pasta came with two garlic flavored rolls which was ok but complimented with the order. Overall I was very satisfied with my order. If you are definitely hungry and want something at an affordable price, do come to this restaurant. The only thing that was really good was the spinach roll. Everything else was on the same scale a Sbarro's at the mall. We had spaghetti and a meatball, and pizza, and I had cannoli. My husband and I tried this place on a lark. It certainly isn't anything to look at on the outside, but the food is DELICIOUS! We routinely get the supreme pizza... it is our default. We also LOVE their pepperoni roll and spinach roll, as a nice appetizer. I personally like them even better than the pizza! The stuffed pizza is enormous. It fed my husband and I for 3 meals.... and at $20 that's a bargain! This is our go-to place from now on... no more Pizza Hut or Papa John's at our house!
