Stopped in the day before Thanksgiving as I was in Temple for a specialist doctor at Scott and White in Temple and Mod's is conveniently located in the shopping/food strip just across the street. Everyone was genuinely so lovely and went out of their way to change gloves, use a fresh cutter, etc. to accommodate my need for a gluten free pizza and I appreciated their understanding for that! I've previously been to a Mod's here in Austin where that was not the case and the employee essentially tried to guilt me for needing extra care with my food, but I have never had that issue here at the Temple location. Thank you for understanding food allergies/dietary needs! Anyway, my pizza was delicious and made exactly how I wanted. I'm a topping-heavy person and I love being able to add all my favorite things here for a single price and make a pizza that hits every single point for me instead of just a basic cheese or being limited by a set menu. They were thorough and patient and Mod's also had a pretty decent rewards system (although I don't believe the free pizza can be redeemed for a gluten free pizza and we usually use it for my sister's non-gluten free pizza instead). I don't order pizza super often, so it can take a while for us to earn enough points since it's 150 for a free pizza or salad, but they do have 50- and 100-point options as well. Parking is pretty open and there is a small play structure in the back of the facility (shared by the complex) for kiddos that I frequently see families enjoying. Outdoor seating is a bit limited, but available with shading, and there is plenty of seating inside as well (booths and tables). Ordering is a bit of an assembly line, so you can really customize everything you want, and they do have a few set menu items as well (that you can also customize). If you've not been to Mod's, I highly recommend it! As with any shared kitchen, it's never going to be 100% contamination free, but they really do their best and I don't typically have issues with the food. Another must-try is their blackberry lemonade, which is so good, and I always order my pizza with a side of Mike's Hot Honey. Only detraction for this experience was that they were trying to get rid of ingredients before being closed for the holidays, which is completely understandable to avoid food waste, but it resulted in my pizza not being the freshest and I ultimately had to remove a few spinach and arugula piece that had gone bad. I want to highlight that this is not the usual experience and I have never otherwise had spoiled produce on my pizza here. Unfortunate, but at least they're trying to avoid food waste!

Cheese Pizza - pretty good Service - they seemed a little overwhelmed and annoyed and passive aggressive but they weren't necessarily rude -- will come in again if I want to be knocked down a few pegs Atmosphere - the corner we're sitting in is lovely!

MOD Pizza has great tasting personal sized pizzas that you can MODify or maybe it's a MODern take on pizza. I ordered the "Mad Dog" pizza for meat lovers. I MODIfied my pizza by adding jalapeños and onions, combined with their sauce, cheese an light crust, this pizza was delicious! The staff was courteous and proficient. I'd recommend MOD Pizza if you are in the Temple, TX area.

Had a lunch date here and I love that you get to make your own pizza. Everyone gets what they like. Lots of options and different types of crust. So many toppings and you can even put a sauce on it when it's finished. I will try that next time. I LOVE ranch. Parking is interesting but plenty of parking in the back. The only thing that I'm not sure about is price. Our bill was $40 for 2 pizzas and a kids pizza and 3 drinks. This will not be my go to place but a nice treat! Service was also quick and vey friendly!! I took the rest of my pizza home and snacked on it the rest of the day, so that was a plus!

Overpriced and cheaply made I ordered a $10 salad. My kids each got a kid pizza. My husband ordered a regular pizza. My salad was worth maybe $2. The lettuce was decaying, and there were no croutons. You know whats in a Ceasars salad? Lettuce, cheese, dressing, croutons. If you are missing one of those ingredients, its no longer that salad. Then the lady started making me cheesy bread to go with the salad, I didn't expect that. But the lady in front charged me for it. Wtf??? I didn't ask for it, it should have been free. I didn't eat any of it. Not coming back. Both kids are still hungry. Gotta get them food on the way home from dinner.

We kinda love them. We like them a lot for sure; even if they never spelled my name right for once! What do we like? The cool preset ingredients, and that we can create our own. For an individual size it costs half more than what I could pay for a bigger size pizza in Napoli. But without comparison, MOD's pizzas taste yummy; plus their crust is thin and cripsy. When are they ever unbusy? The pizza makers move their line pretty quick. Dining area is always full when we walk in. There's a tactic to get a table... You guys know what table stalking is? Haaah! Requires at least two in the same party. Gotta love how their workers are unique. It's like each of them painting a pizza crust canvas with their own artwork. The pizzas really are pretty outta the oven and they look tasty!!!

Pizza is so so. Sloppy construction - selected toppings haphazard. Meh experience with staff who couldn't figure out how to print a receipt.

The interior was also cleaner and nicer than the vibe I got from the sign. I got the chicken parmigiana lunch for takeout, which is $3 more if you get it during dinner time. I also got the meatball hot sub. After a $2 service fee, my total was $30, which was great value for how much food I got. I ended up getting 3.5 meals out of these two dishes. The chicken parmigiana lunch was delicious. The pasta and chicken were both very tasty. It came with garlic bread, which I think only had garlic on half of it. The meatball sub was gigantic. The meat didn't exactly suit my taste buds, but the sub was still tasty.

Varied menu we went with the Meat pizza, they did not have Coke Zero and the only coke they had was in the Bottle with pure sugar. So a little overload. Food was great and the service was wonderful, nice atmosphere to this place. The only issue came when I went to pay the bill they could not get a manager to come to the register to okay the lunch, seems like they did not know how to handle this transaction. Made the experience not as good as it had started. The waitress said she would take care of it and for us not to wait around. They also have Gelato at the store and they have wonderful pastries which we picked up the following week for our son's birthday. Pastries were excellent and reminded me of bakeries in the Bronx.

I love trying unique pizzas, and this was one of the very few that stood out to us on the menu. The two of us shared a 20 inch pizza and finished it all. This was with a man who eats a lot, so I would probably normally get the smaller pizza. They have a selection of beer and wine as well as a few prosecco beverages, mimosas, and wine spritzers on a back page of the menu. The evening started with a game of Restaurant Hide and Seek. After being seated, we sat for quite a while wondering if we were part of a social experiment--no water, no menus, no acknowledgment. Eventually a waiter arrived and, very honestly, said he was there to take our order because we'd been "ignored." Accurate assessment. We placed our order, and later a woman who appeared to be a manager brought out our appetizer, apologized for no one taking care of us, and said the appetizer would be comped. A very nice gesture--unfortunately one that didn't make it to the bill, where the appetizer showed up like it never heard that conversation. The food itself? Genuinely good. No complaints there. However, my wife's Caesar salad never arrived. She didn't bring it up because, frankly, after the earlier disappearing-staff act, it felt like tempting fate. We paid the bill (about $100), including a surprise 3% credit card fee we didn't see posted anywhere. We opted to take dessert home, mostly because the night already felt complete... enough. Bottom line: the food has real potential, but the service needs leadership, consistency, and maybe a map. It's hard to justify coming back in the future when you factor in parking fees, credit card fees, and the possibility of being politely ignored on a special occasion. It's a shame--good food deserves better service.
