I've been here before but need to shout these folks out! It was my birthday and I met my cousin for a late lunch. We had a small trouble with our food. We told our waitress and her response was "oh no! I'm sorry, let me get the manager because she'll want to talk to you. She's just downstairs." The manager showed up and after a brief description of the issue, apologized and took that food off our bill. We felt sincerely cared. To add to their sweetness, we always forget to take pictures. A separate waitress took great photos for us....and happily greeted us when my cousin returned to grab her purse she left behind 15 minutes later. I was inspired to go to OakFire after my friend told me it is her go-to date spot. The pizza was fantastic. The vibes were great, and even though we came on a busy Saturday night, we didn't have to wait for a table. It's a nice romantic atmosphere, but there were also plenty of families with kids there as well. We got the OakFire Street Taco pizza, and it was amazing. I love trying unique pizzas, and this was one of the very few that stood out to us on the menu. The two of us shared a 20 inch pizza and finished it all. This was with a man who eats a lot, so I would probably normally get the smaller pizza. They have a selection of beer and wine as well as a few prosecco beverages, mimosas, and wine spritzers on a back page of the menu. I got the strawberry fields prosecco, and it was a tasty and sweet drink. My date got the Creek Don't Rise Lager and Lagersaurus Tex, which he enjoyed as a beer drinker. read more

We went here for the first time on Saturday evening. They were moderately busy but did not have to wait to be seated. They had an ample selection of beer/cider. The flight of beer was $10 dollars. Overall I enjoyed their wide array of selections. I can tell they hand make their pizza dough because it was thin, crisp and chewy. The pizza was packing in flavor and it was without a doubt one of the better ones I have had here. The pizza here is the best. The owner Tony is always welcoming as well as his staff. My wife and I come regularly and our bartender Liz provides excellent wine suggestions and lends an ear and we enjoy her company. It's kid friendly but we will be back for a date night because the ambience, the pizza, the beer and the service are great. Connor was our awesome server but we had multiple people checking on us to make sure we were all set. We got the "In it to win it" pizza and it was/is mouthwatering. We got the large size and that was enough for four people. The kids' 8" pepperoni fed both my kids. It was everything you'd hope for in a woodfired pizza. The kids gobbled up their little pizza. They had one of my favorite IPAs that I can't ever find anywhere - The Yellow Rose IPA. My husband got the scrimshaw and Hefeweizen draft beers and enjoyed both. Love the rustic modern decor. We stopped in a new pizza brewery in Belton and completely enjoyed the experience. Service was friendly and attentive. The building was constructed in the early 1900s and they have done an amazing job with the renovation. We ordered the veggie pizza and taco pizza. Both were tasty with fresh quality ingredients. The crust has a nice cornmeal coating flavor. The in-house IPA had a nice hoppy taste with a slight floral overlay. Great place and we'll eat hear many times in the future. read more

Had a calzone, side salad and a couple of beers. The calzone was excellent with a fantastically done shell. The dough was tasty and baked to a near perfect crispness. The beer was good and cold on a 100+ degree night. Service is what really strode out though. The bar tender, Jessica was an absolute gem, and at least a half dozen other staff members would check in to make sure I had what I needed. It was a slower time of night, but they were still busy taking care of the customers and restaurant. I will be back for sure. read more

Please allow me to start by stating that...if my wife and I are still talking about this place four hours later...that says something! Can tell this place is a labor of love...in house brewery and pseudo-traditional oven fired pizza. I don't think they had oven turntables in Old Napoli, but progress is good. You can go simple with traditional pizzas or go out a little...like we did. McKenna, our lovely waitress, asked what each of us were in the mood for and gave a couple suggestions. Although she thought I'd go for the Meat Lover ZA, I opted for the Kicken Chicken. Wifey got the Taco Pie. Second floor seating allowed for a,birds eye view of the prep and cooking area...there are no shortcuts here...each pie is made to order with fresh dough, stretched perfectly, and topped with quality ingredients. Heck, when they pulled it out of the oven, I even watch the forensic care they put into slicing it...no joke. So this gets down to Taste... The crust, basically the foundation of any Italian baked good, is outstanding. It's kind of a cross of NY style and Neapolitan, middle ground at far as thickness but still has a little yeasty flavor...perfect char on the bottom and not too much outside crust...expertly done. On the refreshment side, I had to have one of the in-house bevvys, so I got a DIPA. They brought it out and it was thick...and I mean no light coming thru it. It's a completely unfiltered IPA that is not for the light palate, but if you like your beer with actual flavor...holy crap...this hits the mark! Great balance of hops and citrus, almost had a drinkability of a stout, and shockingly, no sludge in the bottom of any of the glasses I had. Well done! Service was really great...McKenna was friendly, helpful, and provided some great suggestions...thank you! 3 stars for the crust alone. Sauce was off putting and may be related to the extreme amount of dried spices poured all over. The cheese tasted weird and definitely was not fresh mozzarella (ordered margherita). The pizza was strangely familiar in taste and we finally figured it out- ITS EXACTLY THE FLAVOR OF TOSTINO'S PIZZA ROLLS- which we do not buy because we detest them. It's sad such a great crust is ruined once topped. If you do love pizza rolls you would probably enjoy this place. Service was decent- refills kept coming without asking for them which was a double edged sword- I highly suggest that you do ask parents with young kids first before refilling high sugar drinks so many times. read more
