    Thai Tea
    Britt P.

I LOVE boba tea! I didn't feel like driving to my normal spot in Irving so I decided to give this place a try since it's close to home. The place is in the Glade shopping strip shopping strip by the Chick-fil-A. I wanted to start simple with my usual Thai tea because I feel like if you get that one right then I can venture out and try more. The Thai tea missed the mark, the flavor is almost there you just have to REALLY search for it. A little too bland or watered down for me. I like my Thai tea sweet and this one just missed the mark. It almost taste like semi sweet water. I paid a little under $6 which is not bad but I usually pay a little less for a really bomb Thai tea. They have a lot of flavor options here so the others might be good, but unfortunately I wouldn't be too fast to go back and try.

    The drinks were delicious!

It's important to support local businesses during this COVID19 crisis and spread the word about those that are going the extra mile. This is a sweet little shop! They are following local COVID19 guidelines inside and allowing you to stay as long as you practice safe spacing. We ordered three different drinks. They were perfect in flavor. Nice!

I have ordered from this place via Uber Eats a few times, and stuck with my "old faithful" order that I have always gotten anywhere: taro milk tea, almond milk tea, or Thai tea. This time, my brother from another mother (K) was in town... so we went in person! It's in a little strip mall so a tiny bit hard to find (or maybe I'm just blind haha). Inside it's cozy, there are a couple areas with cushioned seats, and there's even a bookshelf with reading (or studying!) material, and a couple decks of cards too. This would be an excellent "chill spot" outside of the pandemic scenario, and I'll be glad to use it as such once we get this all cleared up. Ok, to the drinks: The menu is EXTENSIVE. I've never seen a boba place with such a large menu, various bases, flavors, and add-ins. Just WOW. The prices are reasonable for all the things you can add too! I took a chance and got a taro-coconut-red bean milk tea. K got a lavender green tea. The taro-coconut-red bean flavor combination was WOW. I would've never thought to put those together and I'm so glad the folks at iTea Lounge decided to! K said his lavender green tea was very good too. The drinks were made quickly, and they were helpful pointing us to what they thought we'd like, based on other stuff we told them we'd tried elsewhere and enjoyed before. Glad we asked for recommendations! The place is also very clean and they're polite and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Wow! This boba is delicious! The food came really fast, and we were treated so kindly. The place is really chill and gives a really great vibe. They also have many Asian treats like moon cakes. Only thing is, their boba is a little soft, so if the that's not your thing, keep that in mind. Would totally come back!

I just bought some tea and it's pretty good. This tea longe is nice, quiet, and quaint. Im pretty sure I'll be coming here again. This is a nice place for an initial first date meet and greet , to study, or to just relax. I do wish they offered more food items like muffins or sandwiches. Overall this tea lounge is definitely worth spending a lil time and money at. The menu is a lil pricey for tea $5, but its well worth it. The older gentleman makes the best tea/smoothie for sure, so try and go when he's there. I definitely recommend iTeaLounge, especially if you're a tea, coffee, or smothie drinker.

Very nice lounge area. Good for little groups to study. The teas are good. Not as sweet which I like but if your into sweeter things they can make it sweet for you too.

Good to know there is a tea place in this area. Welcoming vibe. Owners very nice and patient. I don't normally sit down but there are super cozy brown furniture and even chairs/table to sit down at. I work near by and definitely will be getting my Vietnamese ice coffee soon!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and that bf finally took me! Pretty clean place. When we went it wasn't busy but it looked like there was just one guy working. I ordered the passion fruit green tea with popping boba and lychee while the bf got Thai tea. Didn't take too long for our drinks to come out. My drink was on the sweeter side. I had to wait for the ice to melt to water it down. My bfs Thai tea was really good! It wasn't too sweet and it didn't have that chalky after taste. I will be back to try their other drinks (they have a big drink menu!) with boba!

Was craving a Frappuccino and decided to go here because the other boba place I usually go to was closed. The taste was very similar and tbh even better because it wasn't as sweet. Perfect consistency and coffee flavor wasn't weak.

Thai tea with baby boba aka chopped up boba pieces.

When I asked why, I was told for remodeling and because they are short staffed. Neither made sense. I believe I saw 3 or 4 employees and while there could have been remodeling behind the scenes, we watched them close up and saw the employees all leave. We had to go find another coffee shop, but it made me wonder, if I was the owner of this coffee shop I would want to verify they were not closing early just to go play. ***revized review*** Business reached out to explain they are making improvements and scheduling those is tricky. It would be great to update on Yelp, which is how we decided on this coffee shop (based on closing time). Coffee and offerings we had were very good. Atmosphere prior to the unexpected close was a good vibe.

I was hoping for something savory. We got avocado toast. My husband got his with an egg; I had mine plain. He had an iced caramel latte, and I had a plain cappuccino because that's the best way for me to judge the espresso, besides ordering a straight shot. Food was okay. Did not blow me out of the water. It was decent enough to eat, but a tiny, tiny portion for the price. Somewhere around ten to eleven dollars per toast. One slice of bread, a little avocado, a couple of tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. Was it tasty? Yes. Was it worth ten dollars? I don't think so. I bought a full sourdough loaf for ten dollars. I understand service costs and all that, but still. Coffee was actually very good, though. My cappuccino had fruity notes, very smooth. They have different roasts, which is nice. The cups and plates are really cute, and the space itself is charming. The lady working seemed very overwhelmed. The place was full, decently loud, line kept getting longer the whole time we were there. My husband didn't love his coffee, and he's usually not picky at all, so that says something. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. But if I needed a place to sit and do some work and didn't need to be on the phone, I'd probably consider it. I just think there are better places out there. Honest opinion. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

This place is great, they're definitely a hit different that your other coffee places so the Black Sheep name isn't just that, which I appreciate! I get it, this is not a place that makes things from scratch, but it wasn't anything great, wasn't anything to lose your mind over. He was very happy with his coffee though, enjoyed it for the majority of the day. He had dairy so I couldn't try it, but happy husband happy life. I had the acai bowl. It was fine. When I ordered raspberries I didn't know they were going to be frozen. I thought they were fresh. They weren't. The coconut yogurt on top seemed frozen as well, it had that weird frozen texture. They did slice some bananas in there. The only other thing was the plastic spoon they gave me. An acai bowl is dense and the spoon was bending trying to get through it. Not ideal. Coffee was actually great. We both genuinely enjoyed ours. I asked for a ceramic cup and got a paper cup instead, which I wasn't happy about because cardboard does tint the flavor. I asked for ceramic for a reason. Even with that, the coffee was still decently good, which says something. Cute place to sit. Comfortable seats, quiet atmosphere, plenty of parking around. No issues, nothing glaring. You can order from the menu without interacting with anyone, which we did, but a lady still came over to check if we needed anything, so they were accommodating too. My one aesthetic complaint is the plastic plants. As an establishment they can do better. Real plants exist. Overall I would come back. Probably not my first choice but we would return. P.S.
