We ordered 3 drinks. The person taking my order was not friendly. The drinks were overpriced and honestly not very good.

STILL a 5 after all these years. It's been 18 months since my last review. I see I discovered Papaya/Kumquat ice blend with Lychee sinkers a while ago. It has become my standard. If you want a great drink from a really nice family place, ask Kim (mom), Hyden (dad), Dana (daughter) or Dan (son) for one of Chris's PKL ice blends. Any other combo you choose will also be good. Especially good is dark chocolate, peanut butter, cream blend if you want a decadent drink. That is my number 2 drink. This one is especially good with MINI bobas...when Hyden remembers to make them. Worth the drive from wherever you are in the HEB, GCISD area. read more

They do not sell food: only smoothies, juices, tea, and coffee. The juice I got was very sweet :grapefruit and leeches. Not very thrilled about this place. read more

The boba is okay, but they charge 12-15% more than what is on their in-store menu. When I told the manager this, she pointed to the amount on her register and refused to charge me the amount on the menu. Make sure to confirm the price beforehand! read more

the ambien and decoration are super compare to other place i have been thru in LA an Houston, the selection are more than 100 type of Boba and tea, and mocha, we are very happy with the service , the prices are about average compare to other place. I really do not understand the extremely high reviews. It was my husband and my first time and both of our drinks were super watered down. The drinks need to be a little sweeter and less watery. Maybe pour ice and not water and ice? The consistency of the tapioca is good, but definitely not coming back just because there are other places close to where we live. read more

Yeah the milk teas here are a no go for me. One of my friends had a regular tea with boba and he liked it since it wasn't sweet. I got an almond milk tea and my other friend got a tea with agar and boba added to it. She asked for half sweetness but the person that helped us just served it regular and it was crazy sweet. Finally! A full service Asian Drink place in my area:) My wife and I frequent Pho Duy often and enjoy the Tea/Boba drinks we get there; our only quibble is the limited selection. I have been to Taiwan 8 times with my wife and one of my favorite past time is the local tea shop, which are literally on almost every street corner. Until now, we have always ventured to Dallas for a full service tea shop. One of the other aspects of the Tea shops in Taiwan that I have just not found here is the attention to customer service and the pride they take in their business. Unlike here, where customer service is not necessarily bad, but that same pride is just not present. Most of the shops I have frequented in Dallas and the surrounding areas are usually run by kids where you see them on their phones talking or texting and would also have their friends loiter around the place as well. Consequently, most of these places, the owner is usually never in sight. I am not saying they are all like this, but this has been my perception of the majority. That being said, the product is usually very good which is why most of the time I can overlook any shenanigans as long as it doesn't impact me or other customers. So when I discovered there is a newly opened Asian tea shop in my neighborhood, I was overcome with joy:) And so far, this place has not disappointed. iTea Lounge has a very cozy feel with multiple couches and chairs for..well lounging;) Subsequently, they offer free WiFi with decent download speed for a small business averaging around 4-5 megabits a second. So this is perfect for the Starbuck crowd wanting a change from the coffee scene. But this is just the icing on the cake. This place has the most diverse menu of every drink shop I have frequented, including those in Taiwan! And most importantly, most of their ingredients, especially their fruits, are fresh, not powders which is a major plus for me! And if you do order something that does not use all fresh ingredients, they will tell you upfront so you always know what you are getting. Similarly, if you forget what you drank, they put printed labels on their cups to identify all their drinks; wow! Additionally, they make their boba fresh every day. And if boba is not your forte, they have all kinds of jellies and puddings...this was a new one to me, but it tastes delicious. And if you do want something that is not on the menu, ask them and I can almost guarantee they can make it. We have already been several times and they have a loyalty card where after you buy 10 drinks, you get the next one free. And just when you thought I was done, the owner has pâtissier skills and bakes fresh pastries with meat inside, but you got to get them when their hot because she cant make them all day;) Just trust me,everything here is all good! So, all Colleyville needs now is an authentic Korean and Chinese restaurant and we will never have to leave the area again...not that we would do that; I'm still a foodie after all;) But, I am just overjoyed that we have a place like this in our area, so lets all do our part to ensure iTea Lounge remains a permanent fixture on what is becoming a locally diverse culinary landscape. read more

iTea is very convenient for me so I really want to like it but it's just not working for me. The tea isn't very strong and the pearls are occasionally mushy. At least they don't have a credit card minimum. read more

I just bought an awesome pair of shoes online, so I am pretty giddy right now. You know what else makes me giddy? The fact that there is an Asian tea place ~5 minutes from me and everything I've ordered there has been yummy. $4 for drink?? OMG, calm yourself, fool, it's actually pretty decent pricing considering... the nearest boba tea joint is in Arlington. And if I can buy stuff online, why would I wanna drive 10 miles to Arlington through possible AT&T Stadium traffic to get a boba tea. And I hate Pho Duy. Everytime I order a drink there with my dinner, they always forget it. At iTea Lounge, the people working there seem to be enjoying themselves, and happy to have me there. They ask me what I like, they make suggestions, they whip it up quick and they don't forget about me. Plus they got dominoes I can play with my kids and win all the time cuz sometimes I adjust the rules. There's also free WIFI. And, if you ever want to buy an artist's rendition of Mariah Carey (I think it's her, or maybe it Halle Berry), there's one for sale on the wall :) Hope you liked my rambling. Point of the story is... even though I can't focus on just this review now, my positive feeling for the drinks I've had at iTea and the service remains consistent. P.S. I don't generally order boba with my drinks. Don't like it. When I get the fruity blends, I like to add almond jelly or lychee jelly. The basil seeds look awesome. I really love this place and feel that the majority of their drinks are well made with the right amount of sweetness. And there's so much variety! My fav? Papaya cream blend and the watermelon ice blend. So why not 5 stars? Well their cream blends are done with powdered cream instead of milk which sometimes leaves a gritty taste in the drink. My first time here I tried the Coconut Black Tea and loved it!! It tasted so good and reasonably priced. Today I tried the Taro Cream Green Tea. It was also tasty. These drinks make you feel happy. The location is convenient since is near all the restaurants and stores. The place setting and atmosphere gives me that comfort feeling. The hospitality was a plus. I feel like this is a chill cozy spot for Asians and other races that loves boba tea smoothie as much as I do. I ordered a taro coconut blend with popping lychee boba. It was pretty good the first zip or two but after that it taste like water downed. It probably melted from the TX heat. This place also serve other kind of desserts. Not crazy about their bubble tea. It's overpriced ($4 just for milk tea with boba) and not very good. My beau and I had milk tea w/ boba. It had a good jasmine flavor but not very sweet and the boba had no flavor at all. My boyfriend liked it better than me since he doesn't like sweets. I'm used to a smooth sweet milky milk tea with rich boba flavor but this place is lacking. I will definitely be looking elsewhere. read more

Fresh fruit boba drinks are a rarity, given that it's cheaper and easier to sell sugar-laced juice drinks. But iTea Lounge won my affection by offering some real fruit juice drinks and the difference is quite noticeable. They do offer the expansive menu of juice, teas and boba drinks, so some options will be served from the syrup stock--but do try the avocado or the mango fruit drinks when they are season. My GPS told me this was on the other side of the road, so I got a little confused. I called to ask them what they were near, and there was a problem with the phone, so I hung up. I saw the sign from the other side of Glade, so I came across and ordered my drink. When I got out to the car, I saw that they had actually called me back! The people working here were very accommodating (and adorable, not that that matters). The tea is good. They followed my instructions. Very friendly. Came here for the first time yesterday and ordered a milk tea because I just had one for the first time in NY a few days before so I was craving another. It was pretty tastey however much sweeter than the one I had tried before. I give this place the HIGHEST of praise to all my friends!!! Everyone I have taken here has LOVED it. Kids love it too!!! My favorites are the Taro-Coconut cream blend, the lychee ice blend with lychee poppers, the green tea with peppermint and cream and ALWAYS the Thai tea sometimes with boba, sometimes without. And good god are these people so sweet and kind! If all places had the kind costumer service that these wonderful people give, then the world would be so much better!
