We could not have been more happy with the attention to detail. They have units that fit into most vacation budgets. We selected a small unit with ocean view, Konea 924 at the Honua Kai. Very well appointed and comfortable. The new granite counter and sink reminded me of my daughter's new remodel in California! The furniture and appliances are all top quality and the furniture and beds very comfortable. Everything seemed quite new. I was amazed at the speed of the internet. Yes, I was on vacation but still needed to do some online work. I think it is 300mb speed. With that you can take advantage of the 4K TV to enjoy some movies but that is not the reason we went to Maui. Neither my wife or I were distracted by the construction taking place nearby. Overall the amenities of this condo at Honua Kai are outstanding. We would love to book vacation time again very soon.

And for us the washer and dryer were a definite plus. Minor detail: the washer has molt in it. And not a little, a lot. They should really replace the rubber ring. Bonus: found over $1 in change when I cleaned the ring with a paper towel. Check-in went easy with all the direction we received by email. Only thing that can be mentioned is that the PDF we received wasn't accurate anymore. Although they specifically wanted us to go to the office to register, the office told us that the company didn't do that anymore. Well, no problem. We had all instructions and the condo was exactly as advertised. Parking is free but you'll have to look for a place that's not from an owner. We guess that 1/3 of the parking area is not reserved. We didn't checkout the pool so no comment on that. It's in the neighborhood of (ABC) stores, shops and restaurants and the beach and park are across the street.

The condo was very clean and communication from Ali'i Resort was excellent, with a simple check-in/check-out process. Arrival & Check-In: Our flight landed late, and we didn't get to the hotel until around 10:30 PM. Despite the late hour, we were immediately greeted by an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient front desk staff. They made the check-in process an absolute breeze and even provided us with complimentary water, which was a very thoughtful and much-appreciated touch after a long travel day. Room & Comfort: Once we got our keys, we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-equipped with great amenities, including a TV, a microwave, and a convenient pull-out desk. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all got a great night's sleep. As someone who is particular about hotel bathrooms, I was thrilled--it was the perfect size, and the water pressure in the shower (which is important to me!) was excellent. Location & Convenience: You really can't beat this location. It is literally minutes away from the airport and right next door to Costco, which is a huge plus for stocking up. Because we arrived so late and needed to grab dinner, we were relieved to find plenty of fast food options and food trucks right nearby. Overall Value: This hotel is absolutely perfect for families. Ok sidetrack a little back to the hotel do you know this courtyard by Marriott was build in 2012. That's how long I didn't come to Maui wow! Conveniently located right outside the airport ground w/free shuttle as well . Nice 4 story hotel with a pool , outdoor fire pit for relaxing also a fitness center . In the lobby they also have a nice bistro . Marriott courtyard brand is not a 5 star hotel it's one of Marriott medium brand mostly like a business hotel not for long stayers. Right across from the hotel is Costco and walking distance to Krispy Kreme. Also what i experienced the food truck lot right next door to the hotel . I'm giving this hotel a 5 Star because customer service is suburb along with its convenient location. I received customer service once I arrived normally most hotels check in at 3pm. I got to the courtyard Marriott around 1:30pm the front desk gave me my room already . On top of that my flight departed Maui at 2:45pm so I requested a later check out they honored that as well . Check out normally is at 11am. I checked out @ 1:00pm. Only downside is that this hotel charges parking $15 a day . It's ok although if you're staying awhile it could add up ?

Jeff is a wonderful human being who is caring empathetic and is a master of customer service. He is an outstanding problem solver. Jeff is warm, welcoming and attentive to detail. He is also fast and efficient. It is clear Jeff does the work of ten people and accomplishes it with style and grace. It is outstanding people like Jeff that convinces me of the value of Hyatt Globalist status and motivates me to only book my hotel stays world wide with Hyatt. Double highly recommend.

He harass, discriminate and use people around him. His the reason why a lot of people quit and doesn't like to continue working here at the lodge at Kukuiula. I would recommend for job seekers to be cautious. I really hope the management would fire him soon and be replace with a better housekeeping manager.

After bringing it to the staff's attention, they did make an effort to recover by moving us to a new room, providing $300 in resort credit, and offering us an Oasis bed at the pool, which we appreciated. However, the service inconsistencies continued throughout our stay. One evening we returned from dinner to find another couple's honeymoon welcome package--including champagne and banana bread--delivered to our room. While not a major inconvenience, it highlighted a lack of personalization and attention to detail that you simply don't expect at this level. Pool service was another disappointment. Our initial lunch order of avocado toast, poke, and carne asada tacos took over 30 minutes, and a later quesadilla order also took more than 30 minutes. The staff did comp us a round of drinks for the delay, which was appreciated, but the food itself was underwhelming and didn't justify the premium pricing. What stood out most was the disconnect between the cost of staying here and the overall experience. When you choose a Ritz-Carlton, you're not just paying for a beautiful property--you're paying for exceptional, personalized service and flawless execution. That's the standard the brand has built its reputation on. While the staff consistently tried to make things right after issues occurred, there were simply too many preventable mistakes during one stay. This is a beautiful resort with wonderful employees, but at this price point--and as Platinum members--we expected a much more polished, personalized, and consistently exceptional experience. Recovering from service failures is appreciated, but ideally, guests shouldn't have to experience so many of them in the first place.
