At first staff were kind and professional. Had a problem with toilet. Stephanie aranged to send plumber next day. (We had two more bathrooms) Plumber had to come back next day. Kinda hassle while on vacation. MAUI ASTON where we stayed had major problems. No water for day, Pool closed unexpectedly for 3 days. Condo was very dirty. After complaining to Maui Condo and car, Jeff Davis customer service sent me to manager of Aston. I was told "so what" JEFF told me to write a review on trip advisor. I did. Then the back lash came. Threatening to have me evicted for something they said I was herassing others. All this on my vacation. When I came home and called for a compinsation, I was told by Stephanie Hanson. Recently, I used AirBnb to book a condo in Maui through Maui Condo and Car. The booking was in Unit C-505 at the Kihei Akahi condo complex. From start to finish this was an amazing stay. The condo complex was well maintained, quiet, and very considerate of their guests and residents. The condo itself was spectacular. It was a lovely unit with a killer sunset view from the Lanai, ample space, and had everything in it that you could ask for to enjoy your stay (from utilities to beach gear.) In general, the location of the condo was right where you need to be for relaxation and if you need to get out, the drives weren't too shabby. After a long day driving the Road to Hana or hiking up to the summit at Haleakala, the condo was a great place to return to and call "home." From the time to booking to asking questions during my stay, I communicated via the AirBnb app with Jeff from MC&C and found him to be really easy to work with and reasonable regarding trip planning. I loved my experience and am looking forward to booking with them again if I make it back out to Maui. read more

Best place we've rented in all Hawaii. Beautiful and more than well equipped and clean condo (Maui Banyan H-214). I dare to say that the kitchen is probably better equipped than my own. And for us the washer and dryer were a definite plus. Minor detail: the washer has molt in it. And not a little, a lot. They should really replace the rubber ring. Bonus: found over $1 in change when I cleaned the ring with a paper towel. Check-in went easy with all the direction we received by email. Only thing that can be mentioned is that the PDF we received wasn't accurate anymore. Although they specifically wanted us to go to the office to register, the office told us that the company didn't do that anymore. Well, no problem. We had all instructions and the condo was exactly as advertised. Parking is free but you'll have to look for a place that's not from an owner. We guess that 1/3 of the parking area is not reserved. We didn't checkout the pool so no comment on that. It's in the neighborhood of (ABC) stores, shops and restaurants and the beach and park are across the street. read more

This was our first visit to Maui for a family wedding. Our stay in a condo in Kihei across from Kam Beach III was hassle free! Maui Condo And Car did a great job by emailing out a packet with ALL the information you could need about the rental property and it also included traveler tips and discounts on various Maui activities. The deposit charges and deadlines were laid out clearly as well as the Check In information (Registration, Access Key Code, Parking Lot Number, Contact Numbers etc) The policy was to check out by 11AM. Our flight was not until 9PM and I was so grateful that Maui Condo and Car took the time to see if it was feasible for us to check out late and they arranged it so that we could check out at 7PM. This was extremely helpful since we had 3 kids - 8, 7, and 2 ! I would definitely book a property with them if I'm ever in Maui again. read more

Mold, Mildew, Pneumonia & Police Reports Well the title says it all. I will never stay with Maui condo and car again. We stayed in two different condos and they both had mold in them. This condo completely ruined our honeymoon. We had to go and buy cleaning products, new sheets, and an air purifier all because of how dirty the condo way. I ended up catching Pneumonia from the moldy air and having to leave two days early. We also ended up with a with one of the residents who live at the condo stalking us back to our condo and harassing us. Once we involved police (around 10pm), they informed us we aren't the only couple at this condo she has done this to. This condo ruined our honeymoon. I feel completely robbed of our time and money. Nothing can give us back the honeymoon we deserved. The photos they post look amazing! Thats why we booked with them! I wish we could have stayed in a place as nice as they advertise. Also, once I voiced up and told them i wanted a refund BLOCKED me from writing a review because they knew it would be a bad one. Makes me worried that companies can do that :/ I chose Maui Condo and Cars because of their amazing reviews, but knowing they can BLOCK you from reviewing really scares me. read more

Maui condo and Car has unprofessional staff. They hung up the phone on me. I don't think an owner of a company would act this way. Both Tiffany "so claimed owner" and Chrissy are very rude on the phone. They do not announce their names when you call their office or even say thank you for calling, do they even care? Seems like a scam to me. I would not book with them. There are so many other nice an friendly ppl in Maui that want to help you have a good time on your vacation. January 18, 2018 Maui Car and Rental are slum lords, i called 10 times complaining on the weekend about the filth and a malfunctioning air conditioner. The floors in both bathrooms were filthy with dirt and hair. The inside the shower there was old caulking with mold or some kinda of black substance. The master bath was so slippery we had to put a towel down so not to fall. The shower door was off the tracts and fell on three of us; luckily my 85 year old mother caught the door and had to yell for my husband. Both vents that were inside the shower area had filth and grim and hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom door inside the master bath had grinded in dirt where people had put their hands and something was splattered inside the door, looked like coffee. Shower tile was black and caulking was dirty in the master bedroom, shower floor in the other bathroom slimy and dirty. Walls dirty and wall near bathtub was damaged from water and just painted over. Also master bedroom air conditioner someone jimmied the unit inside to muffle the noise, which didn't work. The first day my daughter sat on the bed she heard a crack, she's 28 years old there was no horse playing she sat down she heard a crack. They are trying to charge me $125.oo. I have been disputing the rental charge and so far Abnb is giving me $100, what a joke, would never use Maui Car and Rental what a scam. read more

Had a great stay in a condo in Kihei, right across from the beach park III. Condo was rented by Maui Condo & Car. The condo was very clean, conveniently located, and affordable. Also one of the only places that allowed a stay of less than 5 nights, which was perfect for us since we were only in town for a few days for a wedding. We also booked pretty last minute (only 2-3 weeks before our stay), and we weren't charged any extra fees for booking so close to our trip. Very flexible accommodation option. Reached out to Jeff prior to our stay asking for airport shuttle options / recommendations - he responded quickly and hooked us up with Speedi Shuttle - incredibly quick and very affordable for three guests who did not want to rent a car while visiting the island. No weird charges on our credit card...no disputes for charges...no fuss, no muss. Just how I like it. Loved our stay here, would definitely stay again! We stayed at kamaole Sands 7-406 for 4 nights. My favorite part was the spiral staircases. Love the two full bathrooms and kitchen, and of course the washer and dryer. Living room was spacious and beautiful view outside. Love how we didn't need a key but just use the code, that's awesome. Parking was right in front of our place. Shopping for a vacation rental on Maui, I found about a half dozen on VRBO (Vacation Rentals by OWNER) that looked nice and were available per the booking calendars on the site. It turns out that none of them were actually available and that the units were all managed not by owner but by Maui Condo and Car. A sales agent from the company responded to each inquiry in order to tell me the unit was not available and to offer me other, more expensive, units in their inventory. It appears that they do not update their calendars on VRBO in order to solicit inquiries and sell the customers on other properties. Thank you, Maui Condo and Car, for wasting my time. Try your bait and switch tactics on someone else. read more

I booked through Airbnb and stayed in a beautiful condo in Kihei with my family. It was very clean and well decorated. I was extremely impressed. We were provided a starter kit in the kitchen which included soaps for washing dishes and laundry as well as bathroom amenities. I was able to rent a car at a discounted rate as well. Response time by staff was great and they worked with us to accommodate a late check out. I'll definitely look to stay with this company next time I go to Maui. read more

Only giving a 1 star because we are unable to give 0 stars. worst experience ever, terrible service, very argumentative culture in the office with regards to issues that should have been avoided. This place is more concerned with pleasing the owners of the properties vs. guests and vacationers. Many units are not updated. Watch out of Jeff he will do all he can to not address the root issue and will have TONS of excuses. Hence the argumentative comment above. We used Maui Condo and Car and have stayed at the Maui Banyan, Unit H412. Our condo was a one bedroom with TWO full bathrooms and was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed including beach chairs! The location was PERFECT as it is directly across the street from a beach/park and within walking distance to many restaurants. We rented a condo in the Maui Banyan complex for 8 nights in Maui. The unit was older and looked towards the parking lot, but we didn't spend very much time there and it is only a 3 minute walk across the street to the beach. The unit was clean and well stocked with kitchen and beach supplies. It was a great value compared to other nearby condos and hotels. Even better than the unit and the stay itself was the flexibility of the Maui Condo and Car management. Our flight from Maui wasn't until almost 10pm at night and it isn't advisable to lug your stuff around with you all day in the car. They let us stay until late in the evening so we could leave our suitcases in the room and take a shower after some morning beach activities. This was super helpful! We had a great experience staying at a condo in Kihei Akahi through Maui Condo and Car (via Airbnb). Good communication in the lead up to our arrival and we can't be thankful enough for the complimentary late check out they gave us when I reached out about my activity plans getting mixed up. We loved having all the beach stuff available for us to use. Only gave a 4 (wish I could give a 4.5 instead) because the couch was pretty uncomfortable and old, so it wasn't so great to chill out in the condo. But otherwise, a really good stay! read more

We own a rental property on Maui and thought they were doing a good job until we arrived on island to find out that they had doubled booked our condo. Yikes! We searched around and found a rental thru Maui Condo and Car. Jeff helped us and found a condo in the same resort where we own our condo (Maui Banyan). When we checked into the place we noticed how much better the condo was taken care of then our unit - same exact floor plan and about the same remodel. Typically when we arrive to our condo my wife spends 2 days cleaning, organizing and chasing dust bunnies. She was blown away about how organized and clean this place was. After having a wonderful vacation and eventually getting to stay 2 nights in our property we have already made arrangements and put our vacation rental property in the very capable hands of Maui Condo and Car. We booked our Maui Banyan condo with Maui condo and car, last December. This week (May 29) they informed us that they would not honour our contract, for our stay Nov.21 - Dec 12. They also had no where else for us to stay at the Maui Banyan. They had other places where we could stay but they were a long way from the beach and up a hill. We are elderly and cannot do that. They offered us our deposit back, but at this late date there is very little that would suit us left. What a huge disappointment in this company since it was taken over by a Florida firm. We had a great experience with Maui Condo and Car while we were on vacation. We even rented a car through them. They provided us with a coupon code for Budget. I appreciated that. We had no problems with check-in or check-out. It was a nice feeling to feel at home while we were away. The condo was clean and had a lot of useful amenities; beach chairs, floaties, towels and a small cooler that came in very handy on the road to Hana. While we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo itself but it served its overall purpose. I would book again with them in a heartbeat. read more

Be prepared to be impressed with their efficiency, their aloha spirit and their friendly demeanor! We've stayed at The Maui Banyan which is a great place with 2 nice pools with spas, nice CLEAN BBQ's, tennis courts and right across the street from a GREAT beach! H-412 is a VERY clean one bedroom with 2 FULL baths and a great view of the ocean from the lanai and living room. You are just a short walk away from some great places to eat, drink or shop. I love the packet Maui Condo and Car sends out ahead of time reminding you of things to bring and important information about your stay. The packet also includes discounts on some activities. I have dealt with this company on more than one occasion and find that they are on top of any issues that arise. This is the only company that we now refer to family and friends. read more
