It's a busy location so there usually is a bit of a wait but the quality is on par with its other stand alone stores. We ran to the mall for our last errand of the day on Saturday evening, at roughly 8:00 and of all the boba places in the mall this was the only one open! The Thai milk tea with boba is a classic favorite! The boba was perfectly chewy without being too soft or hard. And the flavor was good, on the milkier side, but still ok. I tried the new drink the blue sky milk tea, which has butterfly pea tea on the top, jasmine milk tea and it comes with lychee on the bottom! Upon first taste it was really tasty, nothing really stood out about the flavor though. It was really pretty though! As I kept drinking and I finished the lychee jelly, I did notice a bitter aftertaste which was kinda disappointing but it is what it is. Solely based off of their pistachio frappe with boba. The pistachio frappe is amazing. Lots of pistachio blended and 3/4th way blended they add more for additional crunch. The pistachio is blended and topped off with more pistachio. It's the only drink I get here. Their boba is okay, no honey taste. Cooked good, it is free. I took off one star because one time it was not blended enough and there was ice chunks. Also, I have come here 3 times and two out of the three times they were closed even 15-20 minutes after they opened. Maybe a worker showed up late? read more

My Daughter and I stopped by and got our drinks. My daughter asked for no boba in her drink and I asked for mine to come with boba. Both our drinks came without boba. After I asked that I indicated that I asked for boba and my drink came without it, and I asked for it to be added, the lady who decided to help me acted annoyed. I don't get it... But, there's another boba spot in the mall. I am taking note that this location has 3.8 stars at the time of my writing this review. People have choices, even the nice young lady who could probably work somewhere else if she doesn't like her job there or doesn't feel like fixing an order. read more

My mom and I basically consider the Santa Anita mall as our second home. And whenever I come to the food court the first two places to go is always boba time and get a super size of the brown sugar milk tea with boba then get chick-fila afterwards. This review is for my experience going there today. My daughter and I ordered two drinks today. As we were walking to the car, her drink dropped to the ground and there was a huge slit on the side of her cup. She was sad the cup broke. We walked back inside and the young lady working behind the register, named Emma heard my second order, and told me that she can just make a new one for us, free of charge, because sometimes the cups are flimsy. Hey what's up yelpers? Hope my review finds you well. The following review on Its Boba Time is broken up into different categories: food, environment, service, price and overall thoughts. Food: I always get matcha green tea boba everywhere I go but today I saw this Rose Matcha tea that sparked my interest. I did ask the staff member what was the rose ingredient and she didn't know. She kept replying " rose syrup". The drink looked good but was alright on my taste buds. It had this aftertaste which I'm still debating if I like it or not. My brother got the original milk tea which is always a go to. (4 stars) Environment: It's Boba Time is located in the Santa Anita mall in Arcadia. The spot is located in the center of the food court and can get very packed. Area is clean and safe. Plenty of parking since it's a mall. (4 stars) Service: The staff member was friendly but could be more knowledge about the product they offer. (3 stars) Price: Prices are reasonable each cup was about $5. (4 stars) Overall Thoughts: It's Boba Time definitely has a variety of goodies which I'm wanting to try. @esmeralda W Let me take the time to highlight on the issue of Esmeralda, I have been coming to the Santa Anita Boba time for many years now. I did not notice there was a change in management because you really can't see the change. The usual employees are amazing, but there are some employees that are fairly rude, but Aurelia is a very nice and lovely person. She always greets everyone and makes sure that drinks are given fairly fast. The refund issues are understandable due to the shortage of change and company policy. In order to have a refund you must bring receipt as any other establishment. And as of employee misconduct I have never been exposed to any uncomfortableness, They all act accordingly. I do not think that mis Esmeralda review is very accurate. read more

Ran across this newer boba shop during a quick run to the mall. The strawberry slush wasn't horribly sweet, so that was a definite plus. They have milk options (oat, soy and almond) for their milk teas. This is a huge plus! There is an extra charge, but it's pretty minimal. The strawberry-teach green tea was excellent! Again, not too sweet at all, even at the "regular" sweetness level. Boba was soft and had a good flavor (not super bland, as it is at many other tea shops). The only negative we could find was the size of the large cup - not large enough, especially for these hot summer days. We'll be back, especially since they have varied milk options. read more

This was my first time back in Westfield Santa Anita since quarantine and I found that this had replaced Lollicup in the food court. I ordered their Mango Slush to cool down from the 99 degree weather and it was very refreshing. The mango flavoring had good sweetness but could be blended better as there were still small ice chunks left that made it hard to drink. Customer service was awful at this location! The straw hole on the lid was sealed so the straw could get through. I asked for a new lid and she was giving me a disgusting face and refused to give me a new lid. I showed her how the straw couldn't get through and finally she got me a new one. While she was handing me back the drink, she said you will have the same issue with the straw and rolled her eyes to me!!! I wasn't asking for a new drink or anything. Second time here and it was great! Went to the Santa Anita mall today to buy some clothes, eat at a restaurant, and get some boba. I decided to try their brown sugar milk tea boba and was not disappointed. I am the kind of person that doesn't like their milk tea to be overly sweet and that's exactly what I got; I got a drink that met my palette. The cashier was nice and polite. It's Boba Time is located in the food court where there is a lot of foot traffic. I would say the pricing was fair. The drink cost me $4.75 for a regular size. I am definitely coming back here! Terrible management! A teenage girl is running the store in a very unprofessional and unpleasant way. It is evident that manager Aurelia has absolutely no clue about customer service.
