i go to this location quite often. usually i ask for no ice on my taro milk tea but today i ordered through the kiosk and there is no option of no ice. so i placed my order and nicely asked the worker if they can take the ice out. he said it was going to be an extra charge. i said why. he said just cause they cant fill it to the top unless i dont want that. i said do what you need to do i want no ice. im not paying extra. my cup was not filled and i dont think its right to charge for no ice. i will not be going here again and if other locations do this no more boba time. read more

I love this boba time! It's modern, sleek and new looking. The crew is always friendly and the boba always has the right consistency. They have a nice long list of creative drinks to choose from too. Solid boba joint with good service! Came here on Christmas Eve and surprised they were opened. We were able to sample the House Milk Tea (so good) and the Taro Milk Tea (also very good). I ended up getting the Jasmine Milk Tea with boba(so bomb!). Their drinks are good and boba was nice and chewy but got some that were harder than others. Overall experience was great. Another day another boba review. I was excited to visit this spot. Boba time has a wide array of drinks to choose from. From milk teas to floral teas and even snacks. I always go to matcha so when I saw that they had strawberry matcha milk tea. It seemed to be a nice change and something different that I haven't had previously. I opted for the large with light boba, it came out to around $5 and some change. I waited for about 10 minutes or so which was very long but it gave me a change to look over the menu and the store. I noticed that they had ample seating and the store is almost in the middle of dt Fullerton so there are plenty of places to walk around near the location. After the wait my number was called and drink was ready to be enjoyed. I took a sip and really liked the strawberry puree with the strong matcha milk tea, it was a nice twist on one of my favorites. However it is very sweet, for me personally it could have been at 50% sweetener. But overall Boba time was great and I look forward to trying more teas. read more

I came last night Monday, September 23, 2024 There were two girls working, but one was short, tan with glasses and she had the most disgusting attitude on anyone I've ever met. She was letting it be known that she was so bothered for absolutely no reason . It's Boba Time closer to my house...YAY!! This new It's Boba Time is located on Commonwealth Ave near Harbor Blvd in Downtown Fullerton. There is limited street parking, but there's also a smallish parking lot right next to the store. The interior is very modernly sleek and very spacious, with individual tables as well as "community" tables. Noise level is average, so it would be a great place to work or study. And wi-fi is free, so they really do want you sit and stay a while. I came during their soft opening, but even though everything was still new and the employees still needed to get used to their new environment, service was fast and friendly. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from to keep you coming back for more. This particular visit my party ordered the pistachio frappe (excellent! creamy with pistachio pieces mixed in), the Dirty Horchata ((creamy horchata slush with a shot of espresso--delish!), and taro milk tea (perfect amount of sweetness and a pretty shade of lavender). They also have a large selection of French macarons. Other locations have a food menu, but I was told that that will also be available once the employees get into the groove of things with the drinks. Looking forward to that for sure!! I've been to the boba time location in Westminster and the menu items are the same. This place is new, so it's very nice and clean. They modeled the store just for students. There are plugs under the tables for you to use and about 10 or more tables open so plenty to space! Plenty of items to choose from. Slush, smoothie, milk foam, coffee, milk teas and they even have açaí bowls. There's plenty of things to choose from. Tip: boba is free! I've had it's boba time before but I was not very pleased with this experience. We ordered: 1. Peach Mango Green Tea with boba 2. Strawberry Green Tea with boba 3. Peach Mango Slush with Strawberry Popping pearls and boba I wanted Strawberry Green Tea, like fruit tea, but they gave me a slush. I wasn't mad, I just excused and accepted it. When I drank some of it, it was very watered down and didn't taste much of strawberry or green tea. Did I still drink it? Of course, I've been wanting boba. The Peach Mango slush was similar in that it wasn't very tasty. You can very much taste the powder in the mix. There's places that have an art of making powder favor taste natural but this wasn't the case. The popping pearls also had a very different texture than other popping pearls we've had before. This one, we drank as much as we could until we couldn't and tossed it. Felt bad because we didn't want to contribute to food waste but also, we weren't enjoying it. The only one of this order that was okay was the peach mango fruit tea. I'll be contemplating about returning but wasn't too satisfied with this trip. I gave a three star rating because it wasn't horrible either, can just totally be improved. read more
