Because it's pricy for the amount and because the ambiance isn't inviting, I would give it 4 stars overall and 4.5 for the mango bingsoo. If the owners would increase the amount of shaved ice itself, air out the place more, and change the lighting to something more pleasant than fluorescent, this would be a much more inviting place.

Was in the area and wanted some, so we came across One Scoop while looking online. Their bingsoo combinations seemed a mixture of classic ones and non-traditional (adding cereal, popping boba, etc). We picked matcha to be safe. We told them we didn't want boba (it was 9pm, didn't want old boba that's been sitting out all day). They told us they didn't have any more green tea gelato and to sub it with a different flavor. Okay - we ask for ube. Their red bean was definitely NOT fresh, not the creamy red bean paste that you typically get in a bingsoo. This tasted like it was straight out of a can - hard and flavorless. Matcha shaved ice - barely tasted matcha. Definitely had a floral note, but not ceremonial grade matcha you'd expect. Only good part is their shaved ice is the milky kind, not the icy kind. Ube ice cream - very faint on the ube taste. The only redeeming part of the whole bingsoo. Wouldn't recommend it for someone looking specifically for ube ice cream though (and I say this as being a Filipino who is picky about her ube.) Service was pleasant and accommodating, however slow even though we were the only customers at the time. Tables lined along the wall, good enough for probably about 20 people. The painting on the wall is from the previous owners of "Chillax" (it says chillax on the drawing). I'm a bit disappointed with the taste of their ingredients made for the bingsoo, therefore won't be returning to try their other items.
