The food is EASILY the best BBQ you can get in all of Ventura county. Amazing Texas style brisket. I usually get a 3 meat plate and always make sure brisket is one of my choices. The tri tip is also great, love the burnt ends and the ribs. The shredded chicken sandwich with a side for $9 is a steal!! They smoke everything in house and you can taste all the love that's put into it. On top of seriously outstanding BBQ the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Got the brisket and tri tip, and couldn't tell the difference. Sauce is great. But scarce. I don't like grey meat. The meats were delicious (I think between the four of us we had some of almost every one). We all got different sides to shar! I've tried almost everything on the menu but the desserts. Ribs. seasoned well. Smoked to perfection. Falls off the bone. Great flavor and cooked well. I'd say this alone is worth going for. Especially with the spicy bbq sauce. Hot links. Spicy and grilled well. These are good with the none spicy bbq sauce since the hot links are already spicy. Perfect balance with the normal sauce. Mac & cheese. SO good true homemade style Mac N' Cheese. What there to not like about that? Baked bbq beans. Dip it with their garlic bread and you're in for a treat to the taste buds. And to the stomach. I may have indulged a bit to much of the bread and beans. May have gained some weight LOL. Coleslaw. Sweet and savory yet refreshing. Especially while eating some heavy bbq meats.
