We got to the bottom of the hill at 6:10 for a 6:30 show and it took 30min to slowly creep up the hill to the parking lot. They only let 1 car at at time in so we missed some of the show. They start right on time as shows end on the early side to avoid disturbing the neighborhood. Get ready for walking (unless you like long lines for the shuttle bus) as everything is uphill.

It is a family owned business and they treat each individual as their own family. I love going someplace where everybody knows my name. I have been to countless sporting events (mostly basketball and baseball) but not football (YUK) and a few concerts and plays, all tix I bought at Variety. They have higher end tickets, you know, not any locations where the birds sit. Their seats are pretty close and they have good prices. Lot is free to park and tonight shuttle was…read more$12/pp. 6 Bowl staff with card readers greeted riders and quickly sold shuttle tickets then ushered us on. For the time we parked to the time we sat on the shuttle it was 5 minus. No line and at least 10 more buses waiting behind us to move forward and load up. From the time we parked, til we arrived at the Bowl via shuttle: 20 minutes. This was the first time I didn't pre order my shuttle tickets online because I forgot that needs to be done 48 hours prior. No Problem! Had my credit card in hand and the two of us stepped up to our Hollywood Bowl Transportation Associate, tapped my card - 2 separate transactions was odd, but fine - and on the bus we got. When the concert was over, we were happy to see the loading area has changed since the last time we shuttled, YEEEAAARS ago. Bowl personnel directed us down the hill, back to where we had arrived. Clearly marked areas with bus numbers and destinations are marked, but also the staff is regularly calling out where to continue for LA Zoo shuttles and where to divert for shuttles headed for SFV, Union Station, etc. But even when we got to our correct line, personnel were still calling out the shuttle areas so, if you're just an unconscious lemming standing in line behind a group you followed, you should still hear if you are in the correct line. One FINAL test, the shuttle number is on the bus. It's really simple if you pay attention. Those in a REAL HURRY to get back to their cars opted to stand in the center aisle for the return trip, but we waited so we could sit comfortably. Leaving the Bowl always takes longer, LAPD traffic patrols are placed along the route to make it as swift as possible. Return time to our car, including walking and lining up at shuttles was 45 minutes. Not at all bad, and definitely less stressful than parking and navigating traffic myself. Shuttles all looked new and are kept clean. Thanks LA Metro and Hollywood Bowl for continuing and expanding this service, while still keeping a fair (fare) price. Cheers! "CC"

Live music is an underappreciated artform, and I can't speak more highly of Reiko and her team. The music alone blew everyone away and brought many tears. I can't emphasize how special it was to have our favorite songs played so elegantly; it absolutely elevated our event to another level. There truly is something special about live music, and I can't recommend Reiko enough if you're seeking a live music performer.

So I would advise you to register with him. if you get some work like $500 then pay for a class. but don't just be wasting money on classes and not get any work like I did but I wanted to find out what was happening in L.A. and he's very truthful about the city and the work. I really appreciate Independent Shakespeare Co. for making Shakespeare accessible through free…read moreperformances in Griffith Park, and I admire the ambition of choosing Coriolanus, one of Shakespeare's more challenging plays. Unfortunately, this production didn't connect with me. The cast clearly had potential, but I never felt the actors were fully connected to the text or to one another. Many of the performances felt more like reciting the lines than living them. There was also a great deal of yelling throughout the production, with very little variation in pacing or emotional intensity. Because there were so few quiet moments or pauses, the dramatic scenes lost their impact. I found myself wishing for more restraint and nuance, allowing the language and relationships to carry the emotion. I've seen other outdoor Shakespeare productions, including Shakespeare by the Sea in Lake Tahoe, where the performances felt grounded, emotionally truthful, and deeply engaging. That experience showed me that Shakespeare doesn't need to be loud to be powerful. I hope Independent Shakespeare Co. continues taking on ambitious works like this, and I look forward to seeing future productions. I believe this cast had the talent to create something memorable with more nuanced direction.

Shakespeare in the park is completely free but they do ask for a donation. And considering the enjoyment of watching this troupe it is worth it. They are located by the old zoo and it's a little bit of a climb or use of stairs, but doable. You can bring food and do a picnic. The Comedy of Errors is going on through September 6th. The show starts at 7pm but get there early to get a good spot.
