We brought our car in expecting it to be repaired, but three days later we were told that they were unable to fix the vehicle. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the computer board they were supposedly working on was actually covered under an extended warranty through Subaru. We were told that the vehicle needed to be towed to Subaru for the proper repair. Despite not being able to repair the car, the shop still proceeded to have our CarShield auto repair insurance pay its portion, and then demanded that we pay $600 before they would release our vehicle so we could have it towed to Subaru. We were essentially left paying money to a shop that did not fix our car, while being told they would not release our vehicle unless we paid the $600. This experience was incredibly frustrating and left us feeling completely taken advantage of. In our opinion, this was unacceptable. If you're in Davie, please beware and do your research before bringing your vehicle here. We strongly recommend avoiding this shop based on our experience. Thieves, thieves, thieves. That was my first red flag. They ran a thorough diagnostic and confirmed that the oil pressure warning wasn't just a faulty sensor -- it was a real issue. The oil filter installed by Jiffy Lube was poor quality, and they suspected it was part of a recycled oil system that can break down under heat, especially in foreign or performance vehicles like mine. Mike and Miki didn't just fix the problem -- they took the time to explain everything clearly. They replaced the filter, reset the system, and most impressively, they didn't charge me a dime. Their transparency, professionalism, and genuine care for my vehicle blew me away. Since then, no warning lights, no issues -- just smooth driving. I didn't know anyone in Fort Lauderdale, but I could not leave the AC as is because the car was getting really foggy and it was supposed to rain so I couldn't count on opening windows. I was already stressed about the hurricane and with car troubles everything felt overwhelming. I called Eurautosolution and they put me at ease. They checked my car, ordered necessary parts and were very good with communicating and giving me updates about the repairs. They even sent me a picture of the issue. Unfortunate to have to leave this review…read more I originally brought my 2020 Subaru Forester to Atlantic in March 26 for a new AC evaporator core & expansion valve kit. The dash had to be removed for this to be installed. Unfortunately, the issues with the shop began even before the work started. I made an appointment and dropped off the car......and the car sat untouched for 6 days. No call, no update from the shop. I was without a car for 6 days when I didn't have to be. Once the job was completed (9 days in total) I noticed that there was a crack in my dashboard that was never there previously. The car was also filthy and I found a half eaten chicken wing in the back seat. At the time I did not complain, or leave a bad review, but I wasn't happy. For the next 2 months I noticed there was a mildew, wet smell in the car that I could not get to the bottom of. Forward to late May. When I started the car, my dashboard lights went crazy. I took the key out of the ignition and the dashboard lights did NOT turn off. I took my car to Subaru and they diagnosed the problem. The bottom line is, when Atlantic re-installed my dashboard they forgot to attach the AC drip hose. AC drain water was leaking into the cabin under my carpet for 2 months and caused corrosion and a short in my CAN harness bus lines. Subaru told me that I have to replace my instrument cluster harness and the harness that runs to the back of the car. So, now that I know that this dashboard short was caused by Atlantic's negligence, I brought my car back to them in (Jun 1, 26). After speaking to the management, I find out that my car has again been sitting for 4 days and no mechanic has touched it. Once again no call or update from the shop. The customer service belies Atlantic's google reviews. Atlantic refused to reimburse me for the diagnosis from Subaru and my rental car bills, even though it was their mistake. They say I should have brought the car back to them before I went to Subaru. This does not hold up. Why would I bring it back to them for electrical problems when I had my AC fixed there? They did fix my dashboard and now say the car is fine. The car now has a terrible mildew smell from the AC drain leak. I would not recommend this shop.
