It's a deli, that's for sure. Relaxed atmosphere, small with booths and tables to choose from. Our food was very good, and the prices are great. What a lunch! Excellent. 5 stars - based on food and staff. I was in Owosso today and stopped in due to a recommendation. Boy was I rewarded. The staff was professional and pleasant. Especially the person making the sandwiches. High marks for making me feel welcome and for offering to top off my pop before I left. Love the positive tone. Now, the siracha roast beef sandwich. What a tasty sandwich. Exceeded my expectations. The mayo siracha was just right, providing just enough umpf. Roast beef was spot on and I appreciated the amount of meat. Oh, can't forget the thick bacon that added a nice touch. With the smoked gouda, this offering had me very impressed... and full! Will stop by again when in town. There were a handful of other items I wanted to try. (Next time). Highly recommend you stop in for a grilled sandwich. Plenty of options to pick from. Price is very reasonable, as well. read more

Stopped in here for a quick lunch enroute, they have a 5* rating in Yelp which is what drew us in. The sandwiches we ordered is the Rueben and the Wise Guy, sides are bacon and ranch potato salad, and cherry almond salad. Service is quick and the proprietor explained the food preparation when some questions were asked. We were pleased to learn that ingredients were from scratch cooking. My husband's Rueben looks scrumptious and comes with a dill pickle spear on the side. My sandwich is prepared in a panini grill and was very salty. The salad was tasty with dried cherries, almond slivers, tomato, black olives, cucumber and romaine. The real bacon ranch potato salad was a nice hearty counterpoint. I'd recommend this restaurant if you ever came through town and wanted a sandwich. We also got a couple of cookies to go. The peanut butter was dry, the peanut butter chocolate chip was excellent! They have an all day breakfast menu including biscuits and gravy. I'd give the food about a 4* rating. The only thing I was disappointed here was that after we left the establishment I noticed that my hair and clothing had the distinct smell of a fry up. I think they need to upgrade the venting system; even though they do not deep fat fry here, the panini grills emit into the dining room. In the future I would only do take out to avoid wearing the kitchen perfume! I give the dining experience a 2-3*. I will average the rating to 3* read more

For breakfast, do this: hashbrowns with onions added, eggs anyway you like them (overeasy for us), and a side of sausage gravy. Put these all together (layered) and enjoy. Amazing way to put all these separate diner favorites into a dish that will keep you full and happy. PB cookie was great, and the coffee was better than usual diner coffee. Service was fantastic. French toast was a bit dry- but I have never had a diner make French toast I like, so I won't hold it against them. read more

The day I went the deli was very busy. My sandwich was very good, the bread was toasted way darker than I'd like. But I ate it and was decent. Their prices are reasonable. I'm going to try them again and ask for my bread to receive less heat. read more

Best deli I've ever been to, friendly staff, amazing breakfasts and giant sandwiches. My only complaint is the lack of staff. When they get busy (and they do, seeing that they're so great) the kitchen tends to get backed up. They also do free delivery in Owosso, so that's a bonus, too. read more

Was in Corunna for a basketball game, found it on yelp and decided to give it a try. My son says that the club sandwich is "beautiful" and I had a three egg omelette with sourdough toast that was amazing. This is a great sandwich and soup shop! The menu has a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and sides! Everything is homemade and full of flavor. It's owned by an older gentleman and his wife, and the women makes all the soups homemade. The broccoli and cheese soup is the best soup that I have ever had anywhere- hands down! I'd been wanting to visit this place for a while now because I love deli type food, soup and sandwiches and this looked so impressive. The place was pretty much packed when we arrived, luckily there were 2 tables available. I ordered the club sandwich and chicken noodle soup. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food, which I thought was ridiculous. Yes the place was busy but it's just sandwiches! They didn't even bring us our soup until they brought the other food. My club sandwich was a panini style toasted thing, half warm. The first couple bites were great but then it got so salty tasting from the meat that I could not finish it. The soup was horrible! I don't know what they put in it but the flavor was so overpowering I could only manage a few bites. It was terribly over seasoned and salty and super rich. I've never had chicken noodle soup taste like this. When they brought it to me I noticed the coloring was super dark, and had a film over it, like from floating fat. At nearly $4 for a cup (not a bowl a cup!) I expected better. The food was bad enough but the service was pretty much non existent. Again, I know they were at a busy time but they should be better staffed. There were only 3 people working: the cook, a counter girl and the waitress, who was also bussing tables. Our waitress never came to check on us during our long wait or while we were eating. She brought us our food and drinks and that was it. She never came back to our table. Luckily we had no intention of taking our leftovers home with us so we didn't need boxes. The food was over priced, half cold, tasted bad, service was slow or non existent. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and I will not be going back! read more

My wife and I tried this place a while back for a lunch. Nice location, downtown and in walking distance of several local shops. It was quiet and clean. Service was a bit slow, but our sandwiches were good. I would hope that our sandwiches would be made faster in the future. read more
