Ah, 3 AM tacos have become our shameless family tradition. Picture this: (petite, skinny) bites of pollo taco, carne enchilada taco, carnitas taco, and pollo empanadas, all while sipping on horchata like there's no tomorrow. To my defense, we're growing children (well, used to be...). Let's break it down: * Pollo Empanadas ($3/2) Underwhelming, to say the least. My sister claimed the crust was good. It was kind of soggy but not their fault. Made sense since the delivery was a long trip; other people's photos show yummy crispy empanadas. The stuffing was meh. Dry, overcooked, flavorless chicken but the red sauce really helped. Would have been nice if there were some veggies but can't complain cause it is a pollo empanada, not a pollo with veggie empanada. * Carne Enchilada Taco ($4/2) Two tacos on a BOGO deal? Yes, please! But alas, they were just okay. The soft shell had a stronger corny taste than expected. My sister's verdict: very average. And who am I to argue with that? Average is the new okay at 3 AM. * Pollo Taco ($4/2) Two more tacos, same shredded chicken, same story. Dry and flavorless. But hey, at least you can taste the cilantro, onion, and extra lime clearly here. They used the same dry chicken from the empanadas but with the added green sauce, it wasn't a biggie. * Carnitas Taco ($4/2) The pulled pork taco was tender (as expected), flavorful, and had a smoky taste. This one was the star of the taco trio, hands down. * Horchata ($5) Their horchata was a hit! Not overly sweet, with a stronger cinnamony taste. If you like extra cinnamon, this one's for you. A pleasant experience, with extra points for the great sauces on the side. The green cilantro sauce with a spicy kick was a game-changer, adding a fresh taste and making the tacos less overwhelming (and their chicken less dry). Definitely not the worst tasting tacos I've tried. For being open till 4 AM for some relatively tasty tacos, this place deserves some credit.

Wow! This Taqueria makes some delicious food. I almost forgot to take photos and make a yelp review. I was so hungry I went for a quick bite and that bite turned into me devouring half of my meal, Ha! I ordered through Ubereats. I stayed completely optimistic. I didn't know what to expect but when I tell you it was very delicious, I'm not kidding. I ordered quite a few things for my husband and I. He ate at a later time so I didn't get photos of his food either but he also loved it. I had a Carnitas Hurache and the flat corn dough crust it's made with was so soft and spicy. I like spicy food but not mega spicy and it had just the right kick to not be overwhelming hot. I also had Al Pastor tacos and Carnitas Tostadas. My husband had Cecina Tacos and Carnitas along with Al Pastor and a Tamarind drink. The Tacos and food is not plain, I want to preface this by saying don't expect a loaded taco. This Taqueria is straight onion, cilantro, crema and lettuce that's it. So whatever you order it will not be colorful and full of different flavors unless you purchase Pico or guacamole separate to add on your tacos or food. Speaking of Guacamole, I love how smooth and creamy it was. Prices are affordable and fulfilling for sure. In fact I'm thinking about ordering again tonight. I'm glad I decided to give them a try.

    Supposed to be a quesadilla.

Not only did I wait over 20 mins for take out, this is what I received. This doesn't look like a quesadilla at all.

We ordered chalupas with beef fresh and authentic. We had tacos with plenty beef and a bean/vegetarian taco. All the food was fresh and fabulous. Lots of lettuce, radis, fresh limes and green sauce! Yummy! The horchata beverage was fantastic, a quart was only 5 bucks. Plenty for sharing. It was light and not too sweet. It was flavored with cinnamon and possibly nutmeg. We will be back!

Surprisingly, it is a dish that is hard to find in the Flushing/Fresh Meadows area especially in a sit down, comfortable restaurant. The Chilaquiles was a nice little plate of deliciousness - I loved the tangy green salsa soaked bed of tortilla with nicely fried over easy eggs (they way I ordered it). A fan of avocado, tomato and onions top the dish as well - it comes with a side of rice and beans. I recently returned when I was in the mood for enchiladas - they have combo option with beef, chicken and cheese. I ordered them divorced style with both red and green salsa. It comes blanketed with a shredded lettuce salad with tomato, onions and avocado. Rice and beans round out the dish. A couple of other dishes I tasted were the eggs with chorizo and the chimichanga - both were very good. I love their house salsas both a dark red and green one. They bring out tortilla chips with a thick salsa that is tomato-ey sweet. They have a full bar if you are so inclined and the service is very good here.

Not fluent in English, but very friendly service. They have an extensive menu! They give complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is a sweet tomato-y salsa and the chips are crisp. The Chimichanga with Cecina (Salted Beef) was stuffed! Crisp fried exterior, covered in flavorful red (tomato-y) and green (herb-y) sauces. The cecina is perfectly salted. I enjoyed the guac and chips (same as the complimentary chips) and pico on the side added freshness. They also have a house red and green sauce, which have a good kick and flavor to them. The Pineapple Juice is the right amount of sweetness and tart. I like that there's no ice so it's a full glass of juice! Overall a neat local spot to hit up for good food and friendly service (and a full bar!).

Ironically, earlier while trying to decide where to go for dinner, I had sent this restaurant to my friend but we ended up going somewhere else and came here for drinks afterward. The drinks were really good! We tried the "Sexy Oaxaca," which consists of 7 Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal, Cointreau, grilled pineapple, mint agave, fresh lemon, and warm salt. This drink takes your taste buds on a ride. It starts off light and refreshing with the mezcal throughout, then finishes with a smoky effect from the pineapple since it's lit. It was really good!! I also tried the "VIP Old Fashion," made with Patrón Extra Añejo, Nixta corn liqueur, Angostura, and orange bitters. This was also good and was smoked prior to being served, giving it a smoky aftertaste. It's definitely a drink you sip slowly. Although we arrived about an hour and a half before closing, the waiter was very polite and professional. They also didn't rush us out once it was closing time, which I appreciated. There were other customers still there enjoying themselves as well. I will definitely be back for dinner. I'm very curious to see what the food is like. I really enjoyed the drinks.

Nothing bad, but I felt like it could've been a bit better overall. The food was good though, I ordered the mixtos tacos, which let's you pick three different tacos from the menu. I never had it before and it was honestly the standout dish for me. I would order that again. I also tried the enquites which is street corn. It had a bit of a burnt taste. I know some people enjoy that smokey flavor, but it really wasn't for me. Overall, it was a nice time and for some of the dishes too.
