This has been my favorite taco spot in all of Bushwick ever since I moved here nine years ago. The staff are always super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and have the kind of warm smiles that make you feel like a regular even if you're not. They're also incredibly attentive. I always ask for my quesadilla to be cut in half, and they remember every time. I even once called in an order without giving my name, and when I showed up they recognized my voice, had everything ready, and still confirmed I wanted it cut in half. That's the kind of service you don't really get anywhere else. Beyond the quesadilla, I highly recommend their grilled sandwiches. They're definitely indulgent -- buttery, grilled, and super filling -- but worth it every time. You can call ahead and your order is usually ready in about 10 minutes, which makes it super convenient. I also always get either the horchata or Jamaica agua fresca, and the homemade tres leches cake is a must if you want something sweet after. There are a lot of taco spots in the area, some way more expensive, but this place has kept their prices really reasonable. I usually order ahead and then sit down and eat there when I can, just to watch them cook for other people. It really feels like everything is made with care. read more

Came in for dinner. The place was small and quiet, good hospitality and good food. Chips were fresh, salsa was good, horchata was decent and my carnitas burrito was so big that I was only able to eat half and took the rest to go. It was on the pricey side though I didn't expect those three things to add up to 38 bucks. read more

unfortunately well below my expectations, especially at this price point. I got an order of birria tacos and they tasted like tomato sauce. the restaurant is clean, the staff are super polite, but the food. :( if you don't care about complex flavors, and favor large portion size, this is a fine restaurant for you. personally, i rate based 90% on the flavor of the food. and that was not good. for me. read more

Cozy, very inconspicuous Mexican restaurant. The tacos and burritos were so good! When we entered, it was kind of empty but right after our order the restaurant became packed, rightfully so. We would definitely come back if we're in the neighborhood again. read more

Super tasty and great portion, especially for the price. I got the avocado steak salad and found it delicious. I believe the salad would pretty much qualify as keto and paleo (not certain and don't know oil that's used). I did find the steak a little bit tough, probably flank, but the taste, freshness, and variety in the salad made up for it. You can ask for salsa roja and/or verde. There are only about 5-6 tables but there was room. Staff was very pleasant, food prepared fresh to order. They recently renovated. Would definitely come back. read more

Outstanding steak and chicken tacos ! The tacos aren't cheap but boy are they worth it ! The chicken was perfect size with its fresh onions and cilantro l. Pour their guacamole sauce and it really gets even more enhanced flavor . Make no mistake about it though , these tacos don't need any sauce . The steak taco was extra tender and savory as well and probably was the better of the two . The taco shell itself was also added to the mouth party adding additional savoriness as it wasn't dry like many other spots .Don't add hot sauce unless you like spicy , it is not one of those mild hot sauces! Service wise , The guy in the front was also super friendly and greeted me nicely and that made me feel very welcomed. With that being said , I have to give this a deserved perfect rating . read more

Amazing Mexican Food! I ordered for delivery and was not disappointed with flavor, however, my nachos was more like a salad bowl. Hardly any nachos in sight and just a container full of meat and lettuce. I really wanted nachos more than anything so it sorta blew my entire mood but once I bit into the tiny tacos, it made me feel better. The tacos are too expensive for its size but delicious I can't even say they aren't. It's like a mini taco that fits on the palm of your hand perfectly. Thankfully I ordered enough for everyone because these are far from standard size. The quesadillas are also amazing. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla and they're solid, stuffed with meat and delicious. They sure don't skimp you out on meat here but darn it having the nachos would've been so much better. I was treated here for a quick dinner on a Wednesday evening. Never heard of the place and actually didn't Yelp it until after we ate. I'm here to confirm that my fellow Yelpers were right... this place is legit, folks! I ordered the 3 taco special ($6.99). Went with steak because I was hungry and I love my beef. It was so good and had me reminiscing of my Cali days! I also got an aqua de pepino (cucumber juice). That was just okay. Really glad we found this spot. It's a tight squeeze inside, but clean with standard service. Good eats at a great price. What more can you ask for! I gotta come back. read more

This place was so good. I actually forgot I went here because it was a busy day, but I'm so glad I was reminded of this spot. The food was great, it was reasonably priced and JESUS so filling (I got three meals with all the leftovers from me and my girl); but what ultimately made this place stand out? The workers. I don't think I've had better or kinder service in NYC that didn't come with the expectation of dropping a giant tip. These dudes were so nice, we went to the counter and tipped 30% unnecessarily because it is literally counter service. By the end, I was considering taking a summer evening job with them just to learn some new cooking skills and work on my Spanish. These guys rock, and I just might go back this weekend. read more

Tried to order delivery through here but they called and told me that they were out of several of my items. OK, so cancel the order. Thanks... They said they would. I called back after I noticed the order was still on my app (Caviar- which, by the way, has sucked during the Covid crisis). They didn't cancel it. Now they say they're not able to. Just lying. Five stars these guys were amazing host and their food was amazing including their soup they also gave us complimentary dessert which is made by tres leche. My friends and I are not going to go there every Saturday night because of how amazing these guys are I recommend it to anyone living in Bushwick. I wanted to try a new Mexican spot so I decided to look on yelp. I came across Taqueria Santa Fe and decided to try it today. I bought the chicken burrito and chipotle soup it was so amazing. The burrito had the poblano spicy rice, and it was so filling the soup it was completely delicious and filled with spices would definitely go back again and the staff was completely nice and friendly. So. Fricken. Good. The first time eating from TSF, we had it delivered and it did take an hour but they did let us know it would be approx that. Then tonight we got chicken and steak quesadillas annnnnnd Chicken Nachos. Everything is so flavorful and delicious. Although it's constantly busy and tonight the phone didn't stop ringing... everyone got their food and was super happy. I've never had to ask for anything from them. So glad I found this place! It's your typical neighborhood tacqueria that you'd run to for a quick meal. They have a straightforward and pared down menu but they nail everything. The carnitas was cooked perfectly and went well with the green sauce. The chicken was also really good but the chorizo wasn't my favorite. Though all of them are objectively better than many overpriced tacos I've had in higher end restaurants. The highlight of the meal was the steak quesadillas. WOW. ORDER THIS. Huge portion and so satisfying. Priced well too! The steak was juicy and full of flavor and the quesadillas were stuffed to the brim with cheese. To die for - so so good with the sour cream and guac. Docking a star because the guacamole that comes with the chips is overpowered by the lime - it doesn't even taste like there was seasoning added. The salsa was also lacking flavor - it's watery and looks bland and tomato soup-y. Disappointing. Can't wait to come back though. Hope they relook at their chips and salsa special. read more

Taqueria Santa Fe is dope. I've been here several times now both to eat in and take out, and I've never been disappointed. The portions are huge, the tacos are amazing, and everyone who works here is incredibly nice. The steak tacos, in particular, are incredibly flavorful and juicy. Their guacamole is on point (and served with a giant basket of chips, if you're so inclined). The quesadilla is massive and overflowing with cheesy goodness. Their chicken chipotle soup is a little spicy, but just the thing for warming you up on a cold day. Everything is always freshly prepared and it never takes very long to receive your food. I went on a Sunday afternoon while; I was visiting a friend and watching some football. The place is not that big but it very cozy and the staffs are very friendly and are patience at the time that you are making a order. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I order the chicken quesadilla with was AWESOME and I ended licking my fingers; the quesadilla was so full of chickens and cheese that went I took a bite of it the chicken fell into my plate. Stopped here for lunch and ordered the avocado tacos with chips and guac. Both were Amazing with a capital A! The lady taking my order was nice as well. The green and red sauce were very spicy but I like spice so it was a welcoming taste. Drink selection seemed limited but the food was A1.
