Great spot! Came with a friend who's been wanting to check them out. We went early and had a ressy so we were seated right away. They do have an outdoor patio which is nice for the warmer months. They have lots of cocktail options, too many to choose from but we really liked the ones we got, the Aguachile margarita and Jamaica margarita. Very unique! We started with the Aguachile de camarón that was extremely delicious! Highly recommend getting it. Has a little kick but nothing crazy. We then got an order of the lengua and pastor tacos and shared. Both were delicious but I think I liked the lengua more. Really great spot!

Food was pretty good. Excellent service but tiny portions for high prices. Especially the tacos, they were 2 mini tacos for $19. The most expensive tacos I've ever had in my life. Drinks were $16-20 so no bad. The lamb was delicious and a bigger portion. The sauce was really good.

Casa Enrique offered a unique, nontraditional experience embodied by house made mole and walls decorated with numerous mirrors and very little decorations. You could feel the authenticity when visiting the restroom as well, with steps uneven and taking you directly into the kitchen, passing by busboys and watching chefs create delectable dishes. Mole was rich with heavy chocolately flavor influencing every bite. In addition to the housemade classic mole, Lengua Taqueria was delicious with a slow cooked cow tongue not a typical dish. But, the best dish in my humble opinion was the Ceviche de Pescado, deliciously served with lime and chile serrano. Although Casa Enrique lost its Michelin Star designation years ago, the history and flavor remain in this tasty establishment.

Was super disappointed with this place. The vibes are super no frill causal vibes which I wasn't expecting as this place had a Michelin star. The service was fine nothing outstanding. Over all the food was just kinda bland and uninspired. Definitely way better Mexican places all around queens I'd rather go to

We went on Father's Day with a reservation as it was packed! They had the World Cup playing which was a fun experience as well. Service was a tad slow but I would attribute that to the busy weekend. My enchilada was the perfect portion for dinner and was mildly spicy. The branzino was very fresh and came with home made tortillas!

Michelin rated Mexican restaurant in LIC. We had delicious food - fried oysters, crab tostadas and fried fish tacos. The service was attentive and friendly.

Casa Enrique is solid! Very flavorful and so many margarita options, you can't go wrong. Enchilades are amazing, tacos are good too but small portion. I've brought many friends who are visiting from out of town and they love this place. I also love the brunch options. Chilaquilles are so good! Overall, most popular mexican food in LIC! I normally snag a seat at the bar pretty easily and the bartenders are friendly.

As we were walking around LIC looking for a place to try, I pulled up Yelp and found that I had bookmarked Casa Enrique. It must've been a while since I did that because I don't even remember doing it. However, after walking inside and seeing those Michelin stars on the wall, I see why i had bookmarked the place previously. We waited about 30 minutes for a table and were quite hungry when we finally sat down. I asked the waitress for recommendations and ordered the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, the chicken flautas, and the daily special of the carnitas. The enchiladas and flautas were a hit for us as the sauces provided more complexity to the dishes; the mole sauce tasted as good as advertised. On the other hand, the carnitas was unremarkable and small in portions, maybe the size of a small fist? It was basically build your own tacos with four pieces of tortillas and some pickled veggies and sauces. At an average cost of nearly $10 a taco, I had high expectations that were met with disappointment. The decor here was casual and comfortable. The service was average but acceptable.

Great Margs and delicious food. We split a few apps and hung out. It's a small space but bright and airy. We enjoyed our lunch there.

The place has a modern feel, the service was excellent, very attentive. The sauce and the tortilla work is very impressive. We got the shrimp ceviche that was a special of the day and it had an interesting fusion sauce, with Asian notes to it. The sopecitos were outstanding. I thought the carne asada lacked flavor a bit. But the tortillas were some of the best I have had. The flautas were disappointing. The entire filling was super crispy and over fried so there was no texture contrasts in the dish.

Going to start by saying that our server Leo was awesome, and that all of the staff we interacted with were so helpful and kind!! The plain margarita was delicious, the flavored ones were okay but we preferred plain. We started with the chorizo appetizer. The chorizo was so flavorful and juicy and the bread it was served on was so soft and warm. Was DELICIOUS but didn't absolutely wow me that I'd have to come back for it, 7/10. The fish tacos were incredibly disappointing. So expensive and so not special. In grand scheme of tacos, 6/10. In the Michelin star world, a 2/10. The steak dish was absolutely phenomenal! So juicy and flavorful, the sides were interesting and yummy as well. Small portion of steak but was really yummy, 8/10 Ambience is really nonexistent.

The mole enchiladas were delicious. We also really enjoyed the cheese ice cream as well as the tres leches cake. The pastor tacos were quite good too.

A cozy restaurant with amazing service! There is a decent amount of space on the inside and lots of tables. They gave complimentary chicharrones that were great to munch on as we waited for food. The mole de piaxtla was amazing and so was the rice. So many flavors and not too spicy. Chicken was perfectly moist. The tres leches was disappointing, though. The cake tasted a bit dry, like it was not soaked long enough, which was sad because everyone in these reviews raved about the tres leches. Ultimately, one entree and one dessert was plenty of food for us both! We got extra rice but to be honest we didn't need it because we were so full. Great portions and so worth it.

They don't take reservations?? The comments are a bit confusing

I was able to make a reservation on open table and I left a note in the request that we were going to be a party of 3 because I was only able to reserve for 2 on the site.…

    Is there bottomless brunch?

    There is no bottomless brunch

I am bringing a small group to your restaurant today to celebrate a birthday. Can I bring a cake and have your staff serve it? I don't mind if a reasonable charge is added to the bill. Thank you 🙏🏽

How do you make a reservation?

    No reservations unfortunately

Are they dog friendly with the current outdoor seating setup?

Yes. Good spacing between the tables to fit at least 60lb dog without bothering other guests. Restaurant will give you water if you ask

Does anyone know the wait time if I walk in without a reservation? I've been trying to get a reservation and there is none available until next week

It's really hard to get the reservation , 2 weeks in advance n walk ins ? Only by the Bar or maybe last minute cancelation if you get lucky .

Why does their phone not work?

I have no idea ! Keep trying it's super busy

    Is this restaurant kid friendly?

I saw children there, so the answer is, Yes!

What's the seating like? Would it be good for large parties?

They had some long tables for parties of 10ish. But its not very big in there.

It's absolutely ridiculous that they don't allow strollers. Right?

It's not that kind of restaurant. In LIC I see place after place taken over by strollers, scooters with kids riding them within cafes, and undisciplined kids, with parents exhibiting an "aren't I special" grin! I will have to make a point of…

It ended up being the best decision we made all night. Emily, our server, was nice, attentive, and took great care of us. The food was just as fresh and delicious as at the taco stand at the QNM. The purple corn tortillas were incredible, the chicken was hot, juicy, and flavorful, the steak was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the mushroom taco. The restaurant has a fun, authentic Mexican vibe with colorful décor, a great playlist that really adds to the atmosphere, and it's honestly a cute spot if you want to snap a few photos. Everything was made fresh, and we'll definitely be back!

Also, the fryin cheese did not suit the soup at all- Oaxaca cheese tastes so much better with this type of soup & this is the only Mexican spot I know that uses something other than Oaxaca cheese. Needless to say, it did not work & rubbery cheese in soup is not it. I thought that maybe the soup from this place was a one off so I also ordered a couple tamales from here on a separate occasion as well. Unfortunately it was not a one off as the tamales were super dry & almost inedible because of that. I won't be returning back. Tamales super dry
