I thought the third time would be the charm, but I was wrong! I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I'm really not happy! I asked how much for a fill while she was looking at my hand and got one price, then at the end, it went up $10 for a fill because I have almond-shaped nails! They were already almond-shaped while you were looking at them and gave me the price! The nails today are very flawed. It felt very, very rushed because it got busy. I'm not impressed or happy. I guess it really depends on which nail technician you get. The first time I went was my only good experience. I work hard for my money and just wish my nails looked nice. best pedicure I've had in years The place is tucked behind the building and there's ample parking and the entrance door is marked. I had a younger guy for my pedicure and he was just lovely! The callus removal was great, he removed an ingrown from one of my toes, and the massage was very intentional. facilities were as I expected, nothing fancy, but gets the job done. I was told by Ivy I need to have my design ready when I come in. I change my mind to much and be there for 2hrs. And I said I never been at a nail shop for no 2 hrs. If your son can do the design I ask for then it wouldn't be a problem. So with that being said, I will not return. My nails never look like the pic. I was referred by a friend. HIGHLY recommend!! I got my nails done somewhere else but wasn't happy with them, so found Ivy Nails online and decided to give it a shot. Not only was the staff wonderfully kind, they have the skills that are unmatched. The salon's atmosphere is so relaxed that you are genuinely pampered - massage and hot towel too. The workspaces were clean and tidy; tools came out of the sterilizer in individual packages. For a quick Google search, this place is a winner! I agree with the other views that mentioned the dirtiness of the place. Nail dust was on every surface. I was originally scheduled for a mani/pedi, and I took one look at the pedicure chairs, and changed my mind. Only asked for a gel mani and for someone to file and paint my toes (was not going to put my feet their tubs). Toes were super rushed and sloppy. I literally asked if the tools were going to get cleaned, as she retrieved a tool from the drawer and put it back after using it on my feet. Um...no. Nasty. An employee took his smoke break two inches away from the only open window during my manicure, sending me into an asthma attack, even though I was wearing a mask. I literally had to go outside to finish coughing. My lungs felt terrible the rest of the time. No one apologized. Would not return here. read more

The place is dirty, very dirty. Everything is rushed, so don't bother paying for anything more than a basic pedicure bc you won't get anything special. It was $55 for the "lavish" pedicure and I got the same exact treatment as my sister with the basic. The worst part is how dirty it is. I'm honestly not sure that the tools used were clean. The towels are discolored and stained. I can't wait to get home and shower off the germs from this place. read more

When I moved to the area from Chicagoland, I struggled to find a nail place that could do what I wanted. I visited Ivy's after some recommendations from a fb group. I am so glad I listened to those recommendations. Ivy's place has a nice collection of nail colors to chose from. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Ivys work is great. I am always leaving satisfied with my the quality of my manicures. I've had both gel and dip. She does amazing nail designs with incredible detail. I highly recommend here if you're looking for a nail salon that does good work with reasonable pricing. read more

Ivy left about 4 months ago. There is new ownership and I decided to try them out. I have been very happy with my nails each time I have gone (I like different designs and colors and they freehand very well!) They did a great job with my pedicure as well. They have several different packages to choose from. I have a daughter with Cerebral Palsy so it's not an easy task to do her nails sometimes because her hands tense up sometimes and needs extra time to just relax and I spoke with them about getting her nails done and said they would love to try. She was so patient with her and did a great job. They are so nice, my daughter was loving the music they had playing. I also sent my brothers fiancé there (which she lives out of town) She had powder dip nails done and she loved them. She also made a comment how nice they were! They do take appointments and accept walk ins. It's not dirty, they do take care of the place. I wanted to write this review because the past comments do not reflect the new owners...please give them a try! read more

Went with one of my good friends to this cute nail salon and I couldn't be more pleased. I am the kind of person that is stubborn about my nails. I have a good picture in my head that I want them to look like and if they aren't just like it I will not return to the nail salon. US nails definitely delivered! I got a manicure with Gel polish, although I asked for a matte finish I was told that matte doesn't go fully matte on gel because the polish itself is very shiny so I did learn something new! I'm glad I didn't go with a matte finish. I did not make an appointment but I was immediately helped when I arrived. I didn't catch the name of the older woman that did my nails but she was very nice and treated my nails well. The polish job is just superb I couldn't be happier. I was super excited to get my nails done here! I had seen wonderful reviews about how great it is and very clean on Yelp & Facebook with beautiful photos of previous clients so I was very confident in Ivy. I had made an appointment with Ivy for a mani/pedi a couple days in advance and got confirmation on my appointment. When I went in I immediately noticed that it was not clean at all- even before Covid I would've noticed. I was told to wash my hands upon entering and the soap bottle was covered in old grimey soap with a trash can sat next to the sink that was covered in grime as well. I quickly noticed all of the surfaces were like that throughout the salon; the uv lamps had grime on top of them, the tables, everything. No surfaces or chairs were sanitized between the many clients coming through the door, not even the table I sat at when she called me over to do my nails. It was covered in nail dust (from prior appts) and to be honest I'm not sure any of the tools were being properly sanitized either, I could be wrong but I did not see anything like that being done..just one client to the next. I am very unconfrontational so I just was like ok...maybe the nails will be nice? Ugh. My hands turned out fine, I did notice the shape was not completely round like I had asked but they gave a semi flat tip? but then when it was time for my pedi (I thought) I was never invited to sit down for one, just to check out. So I talked to Ivy when I got home and she apologized saying she didn't pay attention when I made my appointment because she only does nails? Lol so she told me To come back the next day and I really needed one done so I just went with it. Ivy gave me my pedicure and then Leo painted my toenails, after she made a joke to him about how short my toenails were-Lol? and then i ended up paying $50 plus a $10 tip for a pedicure that looked like a 2 year old painted them. A pedi is supposed to be relaxing and I just felt awful the whole time, the salon is not nice and just plain dirty. That was two weeks ago and the gel on my toes is already peeling off..gel usually lasts for months on toes if you leave it. So disappointing as I thought I had found my new nail place. I felt let down by Ivy's customer service and the pledge a salon takes to keep their clients safe. I do not feel like this place is following any sort of Covid health code protocol or really any health codes at all. I would advise saving your money and going elsewhere. read more

I went today to get my eyebrows waxed after having nothing done for 3 months. My eyebrows were thick and full (as I wanted them). I asked her to CLEAN them and specifically said DONT make them thinner. 5 minutes later she's COMPLETELY ignored what I asked for and destroyed my eyebrows. They are pencil thin and ugly. This is the second time Ivy has done my eyebrows and completely messed them up. I would recommend you go ANYWHERE else to get your eyebrows done. She doesn't pay enough attention and instead of admitting that she messed your brows up she continues to wax them until they're thin and straight. It's ridiculous. She shouldn't even be licensed to do eyebrows. read more

According to the reviews I have read, I feel I must put my thoughts and comments in.... No they really do not have lots of conversation - they concentrate on getting the job done, their business isn't frilly- low maintenance means cheaper prices , they are not a pamper all day business- that is not what the sign says... I personally have had my nails done at MORE Expensive salons, they fall off or break within the first 48 - 72 hours - in the 4 years I have been going there only 3 times have I had an issue with falling off or breakage.. as for the owners Danny & Vicki and the entire staff have always been VERY Pleasant to me. When I finally got my sister to agree to have her nails done - I took her there; she had been getting her nails done for about 3 months until she unexpectedly passed away... I have got to say ... Everyone there was stunned by this and offered their tears and hugs... That people says ALOT about them ! so I ask before you write more ugly statements... Think about what you write... How it can and does effect their business- - it is their compassion and kindness that keeps me coming back. read more
