The saddest part of potty training is graduating from the Ivy's family. We used Ivy's Diaper Service with our oldest child after a recommendation from a friend. We loved them so much we used their services again when our second child was born. In total we used cloth diapers for nearly four years. Both of our girls potty trained early, no doubt in part because of cloth diapering. Ivy's Diaper Service made cloth diapering easy. We simply left the dirty diapers on the porch when we left for work and picked up clean ones from the same spot when we returned in the evening. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Ivy's is. Not only do they run a great business, they are like my own personal diaper coaching team! I'm new to Ivy's, but so far, I'm loving the service. The rates are affordable, everyone I've dealt with is very nice and helpful, and my baby poops and pees like a pro in the cloth diapers! There's a little confusion with payments right now, as the website is being upgraded to accept credit cards. They are very helpful, though, as they understand this frustration, and they delivered our first batch of diapers without me having paid. We've been using Ivy's Diaper service since September 2012, when my son was born and I'm very happy. I get to have the peace-of-mind of protecting my baby from chemicals and our landfills from waste, without increasing my laundry burden. Ivy's drivers simply pick-up the dirty ones and leave a full bag of clean diapers and wipes. The Ivy's gang was very helpful in understanding how to use cloth diapers and their website offers all the accessory products I need (covers, booty love,etc.). I simply add those items to my order online when I need them and they are delivered with my clean diapers. The online system also lets me update the size of diaper I need and pay automatically, all at midnight if necessary (what else do you do when you're up nursing at that hour?) Only once did I get the wrong 'extra' products with my order and the Ivy's gang made it right the very next day. I give them an A+ for customer service. They also get an A+ for community service as they've sponsored a donation drive for a local charity and participated in other community events since I've been using them. Lastly, I will say that I think cloth diapers are easier to use than disposables. When my son was very tiny he wet a lot, so we actually ran out of diapers by the last day (more than 100 in a week), Ivy's did send me more, but for a day a few weeks in a row, I used disposables so I can compare a little. Our family has used Ivy's Diaper Service since the birth of my son over a year ago. When we were making decisions about the million things you have to decide on when you have a baby, I definitely had interest in cloth diapering. However, I had zero interest in doing any additional laundry or, candidly, washing poopy diapers in the same machine where I washed the rest of the family's clothes. I found Ivy's online and reached out to get more information. From the moment I reached out to set up a diaper demo to the present, we have had a fantastic experience with Ivy's. Though they handle the vast majority of the (literal) dirty work when it comes to cloth diapering, we have also had to learn various things about cloth diapering (or maybe diapering in general?) along the way. Jessika has always been available to help with questions, advice, and troubleshooting, no matter how large or small the issue may have been. Her thoughtful and insightful replies to my emails have been appreciated every step of the way. The Ivy's team has also been flexible when we've needed to temporarily change delivery locations and/or switch up the drop off spot at our home when our house was on the market and we didn't want to greet prospective buyers with a bag of dirty diapers on the front porch. ;) Jessika and her team always find a way to make cloth diapering as easy as possible for us. Cloth diapering was a bit of an adjustment for all of us up front, including for our newborn who would start crying the instant his cloth diaper was wet...which was constantly. So, for that reason, we eased into cloth slowly after he was born. As a newbie parent, I also initially missed the wetness indicator on the disposable diapers that we had at the hospital. However, over a year in, we really love cloth diapering and cloth wipes. We do still use disposables on occasion (e.g. - travel or when we want to get one more wear out of an outfit that is getting too small and won't fit over a cloth diaper). But, the disposables just seem so flimsy in comparison. The only diaper rashes we had were early on when we used disposables more often. And, as Jessika mentioned to us during the demo, we have found that blowout diapers are almost nonexistent with the cloth diapers. Not so with the disposables. Soon, we are hoping to reap another much-lauded benefit of cloth diapering - earlier completion of potty training. Lastly, though this was not a factor that was important at all up front, cloth diapers are just so stinkin' cute. ;) He looks "dressed" even when he's not...way cuter than he looks in a disposable. Though I will be glad once we come to the end of our diapering journey (who isn't?), I will be sad to move on from Ivy's. These days, there are so many options and choices in parenting, but if you are considering cloth diapering and would like to outsource all or part of the process, I highly recommend Ivy's without reservation. read more

Honestly, this is the best service EVER! We have been beyond thrilled to have Ivy's in our life. The service is outstanding and the price is unbeatable. I love using cloth diapers, but after nearly a year of use, they simply weren't smelling as nicely as I would want. I had tried everything at home and finally decided I needed some professional help. I knew there was a cloth diapering service in Charlotte, and I was crossing my fingers that they could give my personal diapers an industrial cleaning. I gave them a call, and they were happy to help! The service was called "Wash my Stash". I scheduled a diaper pickup ( yes, someone came to my home to pick up the diapers). The pickup crew was nice and early. I had the option of having my items delivered back to me, or I could pick them up early within a few days. Being as though I prefer my little one in cloth, I opted to pick them up. As life would have it, I forgot to pick my diapers up, and it was going into the weekend. The owner called me that Friday ( way after closing I think) to remind me about my diapers. I told her about my brain fart and she offered a great solution. Being as though I couldn't get to her within the hour, she told me that she was hosting a Saturday diapering class and that I could pick them up the next day. Mind you, that Saturday diapering class just so happened to be the next day (lucky me!) That Saturday, I drive to the location. I had my little one in the car but, alas, he was asleep. She must've seen me drive up as she ran out and said, "I can bring the diapers out to you. No need to unbuckle your son". GASP!!! How thoughtful!!! She brought the diapers out to me and off I went. Upon arriving home, I gave the diapers a good inspection. I opened the bag, to which I found all my diapers neatly arranged. I picked one up, gave it a good eyeball review and then I did the true test: smell. I stuck a diaper under my nose and did a serious inhale. So serious that I could have been on a Gain commercial or something. What did I smell? FRESHNESS! I want to be clear - babies pee and poop in diapers. And even when a good home washing with detergent and vinegar, one can still smell a little something left from the acidity of pee. Alas, not even a HINT of pee or poop smell. It was as if I had purchased brand-spanking-new diapers. They were soft and fresh and perfect. I was so pleased but I just knew the cost would temper my excitement. But guess what! It just added to it. The cost to clean ALL of my diapers, two diaper bags, a few extra diaper inserts, and pick them up from my home was VERY reasonable. So reasonable that I plan to use Ivy's for more than just the bi-yearly deep clean. I have another little one on the way and everyone keeps asking me "What do you need?". Initially, I would've said nothing, but having experienced such great service with Ivy's, I think I might be asking for a diaper cleaning subscription. read more

I suppose I'm late in writing this review because I am now discontinuing use of Ivy's- thanks to potty training! My son wore Ivy's diapers for the entire first 28 months of his life and I am 100% certain it was the right choice for us. When I was pregnant with my son, I really liked the idea of cloth diapers but the thought of washing them- not to mention all the different kinds available- completely overwhelmed me. Ivy's seemed the perfect solution. For the same price as disposables, I could have fresh, clean diapers delivered to me weekly (and someone else dealt with the dirty ones)! In the very beginning, we used disposables we had received as shower gifts when we went out and every single time we regretted it- blowouts and ruined clothing, not to mention awful diaper rash. We absolutely never had diaper rash in our diapers from Ivy's and any blowouts were few and far between and almost only when we had done something wrong. By the time my son was 2 months old, we exclusively used Ivy's Diapers. I found the website easy to use and it was able to solve almost any issue I had. On the rare occasion I needed something outside the scope of the website, customer service couldn't be better. Any time I have had any questions, someone is quick to respond and goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied. As far as the actual service goes, it couldn't be simpler. Once you sign up, you start with a clean bag of diapers. Take the clean diapers out and during the week, Baby does what he does in them and you toss them into the bag. On your delivery day, put out the bag of dirty diapers and Ivy's magically delivers another clean bag in its' place. I've never once had any issue with missed deliveries or reliability. Occasionally there would be a minor mix-up (wipes or some other item I'd ordered missing) but the rare times that happened, Ivy's was quick to make it right.. (Like I said, awesome customer service!) While I am thrilled my son is completely potty trained (another perk of cloth diapers I didn't even know about when we started using them is that babies tend to potty train much sooner using them than disposables), I am still a little sad we are leaving the Ivy's family. I loved having them a part of our daily lives. If we ever have another child, our baby will definitely be wearing Ivy's diapers! read more

We LOVE Ivy's diaper service and have been using cloth diapers for all three of our children. It's a great way to help eliminate waste and the unnatural products found in store bought diapers. What's greatest is that it couldn't be easier. Their delivery service is SO reliable and any time you are on vacation, you can conveniently go online to put your schedule on hold. The owner, Jessika, is a real gem. She communicates directly any time I have a need or concern. Way back when I first started using cloth diapers, she even came and taught me all about the world of cloth diapers and educated me on everything I needed to know.
