Hadn't looked for or used a dry cleaner since I moved to the Mint Hill area in June 2020. Finally had enough stuff to get done: a suit, a jacket and five dress shirts. The lady who took my info and stuff is very nice and asked me if I was in military as they give discounts, I was, so I got a discount, which is always nice. I picked the stuff up a few days later from the same still friendly lady. It was hung and packaged very nice and looked great. I got home and unwrapped it all and everything looks great!! Not good business practice. My mom asked how much it would be to dry clean a formal dress - the man told her $17.88. She came back the next day and the women tried to charge her almost $30 instead. Said the man was incorrect telling her the price. When my mom tried to ask her why it was more she said the man was incorrect telling her and said she would charge her $22 instead... not right. The receipt / slip papers they give you should say the price when you drop an item off, so they can't change the prices. Seems like they change the price. I called before I stopped by on Wednesday, 11-22-23. I needed a choir robe cleaned. Multiple dry cleaners were open, but most would not have the robe ready until Tuesday. I needed it for an event on Saturday. The woman who answered the phone told me that if I dropped the robe off that day, it'd be ready on Friday. I picked up the robe Saturday morning, 11-25-23. It was pressed and the make-up spot was removed. I appreciate them coming through for me during the holidays. I would definitely return. read more

I started bringing my dry cleaning here a couple months ago. They were more expensive than my regular spot but much quicker turn around so i figured it was worth it. NOT SO MUCH! I have had to either re-iron or steam each shirt before I put it on because of wrinkles and creases in the front of my dress shirts. Took the shirts back this morning that i picked up yesterday afternoon with the same issues and was met with attitude. We will not be back! read more

I decided to look for a reasonable price dry cleaner & most were charging a whole lot of money but Countryside Cleaners prices was reasonable Kandie was very pleasant to work with. I give Countryside Cleaners of Mint Hill 5 stars! I brought in my husbands three pair of pants, and I specifically asked them to dry clean with no added pleats or creases. And they actually did a great dry cleaning job, perfectly clean with no creases. Sometimes it's very rare to find a drycleaner that will do exactly what you like and they did! I came in to deliver the pants and Kandi was the lady that helped me, she was super happy and super nice and asked me what I needed. We tried this dry cleaner as it was close to our house and we were new to the area. Both experiences were a huge let down. We tried to give them a second chance.... they are definitely not receiving a third. On both occasions, we paid extra to have the seams resewn on some pants, and they came back looking like a two year old had done the job. Looked terrible. Also on both occasions, numerous articles of clothing came back with buttons either broken or partially removed. Service was nothing to write home about either. Save your money (and your clothes!) and try something else. Only good thing about them is the mid-week discount, but trust me it is not worth it to have them ruin your clothes! read more
