Spicy Soy Garlic Edamame Basil Popcorn Chicken Tonkotsu Miso Spicy

I enjoyed the ramen I had here. It came with a lot of chashu compared to other ramen places. The broth was flavorful and spicy (as ordered). It was quiet inside on a Friday night, a facelift to make it more modern and welcoming might attract other patrons in.

I came on a Wednesday evening so it was more on the empty side. The food came out really quick and overall everything was pretty affordable and tasted great! For appetizers I ordered the Fried Gyoza, it was okay 6.5/10 and the Garlic Soy Chicken so so good, very flavorful and crispy 9/10! For my Entrée I got the Tonkotsu Miso Spicy which did have a kick to it and overall was pretty good 8/10. Not pictured, their Coconut Green Tea Milk Boba was so BOMB. If you like coconut I highly recommend. I think it's worth a try and would go back!

Restaurant is located on a strip mall with plenty of parking. The interior is nice and clean. The menu is extensive, and has pretty good options. I chose the ramen and starter deal whereby I had the Tonkatsu ramen, and takoyaki. The takoyaki sauce was good, and takoyaki was soft and warm. The Tonkatsu ramen soup had a peppery taste, and the flavor was not deep enough. The meat was slightly seasoned. The noodles were cooked well, but the egg was slightly overcooked. Service was very good. Staff were super friendly and patient.

Small, cozy place with a relaxed ambiance. The instrumental background music is soothing. Service is fast and friendly. They have a wide array of dishes from brisket ramen to classic curry chicken. The curry is very welcoming, the perfect meal on a cold day. Paired with a cold Asahi and you have a great meal that will leave you with a smile. The combo comes with an appetizer- the basil chicken is incredibly yummy!

    Smoked Brisket Ramen

This place was so good! The garlic butter edamame was my favorite version of the appetizer ever. The brisket was incredible. Our teas were super good and fresh. The wait staff was super nice and the place was very clean and calm. My favorite ramen experience so far!

Great place, intimate feeling and delicious food. The place has weathered the Texas economic storm from Hurricanes to Covid shutdowns--a testament to the food and service.

We had the fried Ramen burger with just tofu patty (it has a 'bun' top and bottom of fried noodles instead of hamburger bread. After making sure no pork ingredient, that it was a 100% tofu only inside, including corn and spinach leaf. They did not have a mon-mayo condiment I was happy with (they had no mustard on hand), but needed it. Great item when eaten warm, but less enjoyable as it cooled off. If. I go again, will be 1. Very happy to eat fast when I le fresh and a few sachets of French's yellow mustard in pocket to add.

I heard many good things about this place and i was shocked that it was in Richmond of all places so i was excited to try it! This bowl of ramen was extremely mid, from the broth to the pork. Its called tonkatsu red because its supposed to be spicy i assume? But its just chili flakes, not good. I will say i liked how they used the thin noodles , those are good. Im glad i got to try it , but i dont think id return.

    A bit pricey

This is a very Good ramen house, food is good, menu is limited, price is upper end of Great Ramen Houses. Portion sizes are small. They have really changed the portion sizes. The Ramen now comes with some small noodles, for Ramen noodles you have to pay an up charge. I ordered an appetizer, gyoza, it was good. The ramen was good lacked enough noodles and they've reduced the amount of protein/meat in their ramen. The rice pudding is always good but they quit serving a full portion in the mason jars and are now serving in a small plastic wine glass. About 1/3 of what used to be served. Good food, disappointed in portion size vs cost as it's still pricey. Service was decent.

    POPCORN CHICKEN

My son, his wife am I went there a few days ago. The service was also great. We started off with the popcorn chicken, which was really good. Then, the Chicken Miso Spicy, Tonkotsu and the Black Garlic Tonkotsu. We also had Chicken Chashu and Smoked pork Belly as add-ons. I was already planning on giving a 5 star review because the food, especially the meats were all excellent, However, the next day I realized my wallet had apparently slipped out of my pants pocket. Because Slurp was the only place I went to, I returned there. They had my wallet waiting for me, with everything there. That cemented my 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Its on the smaller side which also explains the wait. The service is quick and efficient! They have an array of different sushi and rolls to pick from! I couldn't decided so I ordered 2 different rolls. Interestingly enough they both were served hot. I ordered the Louisiana roll 10/10. See my picture of the extra dressing left over in the bowl. The bao buns were both good. The chicken katsu was crunchy and the chicken was tender. I didn't like the "crumbs"'on top but they were easy enough to scrap off. The beef bao wasn't as good. There was a huge chunk of fat on it. See my picture. That was a disappointment. The bun itself was fluffy and overall they were pretty good. A bit of attention to the beef would've given them a higher score. That amount of fat was unacceptable in my book. The server was nice and came by to check on us an appropriate number of times. The small restaurant was kept up well. A bit of stuff stored along the wall but it appeared clean. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the servers are friendly and helpful. We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant wasn't yet busy when we got there but started to fill up as we ate. There are so many different ramen options and toppings to choose from. You can choose to get the low sodium option for all the ramen if you prefer, and they also have free unsalted ramen broth refill. They also have other dishes besides ramen, and you can also customize any existing dishes with other toppings as you'd like. I got the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen with spinach and corn, and my boyfriend got the Spicy Ramen. Both broths were so rich and flavorful. They were both slightly salty, so we also got the clear broth refill which made them just right. The ramen had a perfect chew, and the toppings were flavorful and delicious. I usually don't like bamboo toppings in ramen because of the ammonia smell, but I tried some bamboo from the Spicy Ramen that my boyfriend got, and it had no strong bamboo smells at all. I was so impressed. I also ordered the Japanese curry with chicken kaarage to-go, and they were also really tasty. I will definitely be back to Kizuki for more in the future.
