It is so nice to have a place locally that has variety! The service was impeccable. Staff was quick to the table. The Chicken Teriyaki Burger was AMAZING and bursting with flavor. The fried Pickle Chips are my new favorite. I am so happy to have something close, and to not have to drive to Chico for a good restaurant. The menu *not pictured* has plenty of options for all diets. The ranch was housemade and perfect to go w/ the Pickle Chips and Teriyaki Chicken Burger. First off this isn't even the first time we've had issues. We went to Izzy's yesterday for a pickup order and I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich. The meat they provided was not turkey at all, and if it was it was spoiled turkey. Our pickup time was 4:34 and we picked it up at about 4:36 the sandwich was literally soggy. They told us to come in today which because I am sick (to the point of throwing up) from the food they gave us my fiance went into the facility where they were "apologetic" but did not give a full refund only a partial. Then gave Bull-crapped excuses as to why they couldn't give my fiance a full refund. Consistently at this location we always have a problem with our order to the point where we have maybe gotten the right order without problems three times out of the many times we've gone there. (Seeing as it's one of the only food spots nearby we were way too freaking generous with how many times we've gone trying to have benefit of the doubt.) This was the final straw though. Because, again the food literally made me sick which I haven't had happen before. With how sick I am from this location today we should have gotten a full refund and they were upset with us despite everything we went through because we wouldn't accept their cruddy coupon. Why would we go to a place again when it literally made us sick. We aren't going to be going back to either location. Our time at Izzy's is done. If I could give zero stars I freaking would. Beware if you eat here. Because, now apparently spoiled food is becoming a thing there aside from them always messing up meals. Then they provide you with crappy apologies. read more

Well it's friday and they are usually busy, that said, 105 minute till a knock on my door. The large fries are LARGE and the fish sandwich was good but a better hoagie bun would set it over the top. My complaint other then the length of time to get the food was that I ordered a small vanilla shake and got a peanut butter vanilla shake. Hating it although some would like I'm sure. Ordered at the window, since the inside was covid-closed. Two people ordered before us. After watching four or five people walk up and grab their orders, a lady went and asked the girl at the window why all the other people are getting their food so quickly while she's been waiting for a half hour. The employees response was that they have to fulfill the online orders and call in orders before any walk up orders. So, if you're interested in Izzy's during the covid-closures, call in or order online. I waited 50 minutes for a hamburger, a hotdog, a child's (burnt, unfortunately) grilled cheese, and a side of undercooked fries. The ranch dressing is delicious, though. Right away I noticed the fries were cold, once I got home my wife and I also noticed the burgers were barely warm the lettuce looked a week old and yes the fries were cold and lacked any crunch. I used to go to Izzys all the time but since the new owners have taken it over here in Magalia I do not go anymore. After the new owners had taken over my first impression when I ordered was a bunch of guys in very dirty looking jeans standing outside the place in the parking lot smoking. Once I was inside I was horrified to see that these were the guys in charge of my food. The food was good but I will not go back. The guys looked dirty and it scares me. I used to love this place but now go to the Izzy's in Paradise exclusively as they are clean. I love Izzy's food but not from this place sadly. read more

Has anyone from Izzy's read these reviews? They're spot on from my experiences. The only reason I continue to order is because sometimes I can't break away from a project or want to feed a group of guys working. Dine in is lacking. The lady that's always there is rude and doesn't seem to care about customer service. The food is pricey and nothing special. They have a couple good beers on tap, that's basically the plus. Delivery is a little better because after you get past the lady on the phone, someone else delivers. The driver is nice, but more often than not, something in the order is wrong. They've actually had to drive back to deliver the correct order, which really ticked off the lady on the phone. We joke (seriously) that she must be Izzy's wife or daughter because she's so rude and gets away with it. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food is edible and convenient since it's one of the only delivery places up here. read more

Nothing really wrong here, just seemed off or out of step. When we walked in we were asked if were here to eat. I thought well yes why else would we be here but they have a bar too so i can see why the question. We had to pay first including the tip. I didn't care for that. I like to base a tip on service. Food was great, but we were done with our burgers before our garlic fries were brought to us. The lone server was ok and nice but lacking in what seemed care. She did some of her service while on her cell phone. It will probably be quite some time before i return but give it a try. Like i said the food was great. Great to see this place back open. Been eating at both locations since I was a kid. Ordered the Club Sandwich, because that's how I roll. No pun intended. Their Club comes on a toasted French Roll. It was massive. Just what I needed. Had it with a side of fries, because there's no other way to have it. Nice and crispy. No limply fries here. No more "Wagon Burgers"!! Come have yourself a good old Ridge cooked meal. Beers on tap. Wine. Nice enclosed area to keep the outside noise at bay. Plenty of TVs to watch, whatever it is you're looking for. Came in and the Baseball Playoffs were on. Didn't want to go back to work. Grrrr. I will be back. Great people who have stuck through everything that's been thrown their way over the past year. The food is good, but I hate being asked for a tip at the register as I'm ordering. Tips are not automatic. They come at the end and are a reflection of how the overall service was. There is no real table service. You order at the register, you get your own drinks and there are facilities provided for busing your own table. In other words, it's the same as Carl's Jr. and I don't tip there either. read more
