Most of the time yelp ratings are spot on. This was not one of those times. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was good, but after a few bites of the hash browns I couldn't eat them. Had 2 slices of toast, 1 slice was barely toasted while the other was burnt. The coffee was luke warm too. Went for the first time. Our server was lovely. Everyone in there was so nice. The restaurant is super clean. Ordered a Monte Cristo and it was so good. Their prices are great. They do a $7.49 breakfast between 7-9. The menu for that will not let you leave hungry. On Saturday kids under 12 eat free! Definitely recommend! Will be going back for sure! read more

Arriving hot in minutes the eggs were perfectly cooked, sausage and bacon were plentiful and my favorite shredded hash browns were cooked and browned to perfection. My mom and I have enjoyed every meal we've had here. They make super good scrambled eggs. They use milk, just like I do at home, which makes them extra fully and filling. Lately we have been all about their Pumpkin waffle. It's extraordinarily delicious and one of my mother's favorite breakfasts. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive, always keeping my mom's decaff coffee full and if you have someone that likes decaff, you know how rare that is among restaurants. When you order biscuits and gravy as a main plate and it comes in the same tiny side container as your side of biscuits and gravy...we have an issue. The pepper tasted like old and they didn't even checked if the ingredients are still okay before they cooked it. The coffee itself was not very good. I wasn't expecting some life altering experience of coffee, but I would have wanted a bit more tastiness! My waitress was nowhere near as kind. That's probably my biggest thing for 2 stars! Half hearted question or a quick run by for a refill made me feel like she was frustrated I didn't order anything! With only 1 option of coffee, not as big or good of a menu, not as clean overall in the place and bathrooms, plus the biggest reason of not as friendly of a staff, this is below average! The foot isn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I was hoping for more of a fresh selection in the menu, and perhaps my experience was colored by the nearby older couple both each hacking up a lung.
