The cashier got the drink order wrong and the salad dressing that another person in my party requested. We love this place and its as close to NY style pizza as SOME other places. My favorite place in in Athens but I live in Lilburn so this will do. I have not had anything other than pizza so I can not comment on the other items on the menu. We've been living in Tucker for years and always struggled to find a good pizza place. Until now. We decided to try Izzy's after reading some reviews, and I'm so glad we did. Oh, man! This pizza is yummy! I came across Izzy's by none other than browsing Yelp for some good NY style pizza. This one isn't too far from my SO's home so I decided to pick some up after work for our Friday pizza date just to try something new. This pizza does not disappoint! We decided to build our own large 18" pizza. On one half we put pepperoni, feta cheese and mushrooms and on the other pepperoni, salami and artichokes. Taking it home for consumption was exciting since Izzy prides itself on being authentic NY pizza. The slices are ginormous, and have a very decent amount of toppings on all of the slices. I love the thin, large slices that you have to fold to eat so the toppings don't fall off. As I ate the pizza, I could tell that this would be a pizza place I will continue to frequent in Atlanta and I don't care how far the drive is! read more

Idk if she is the owners wife, but her attitude sucks! She gives me NYC racist old latina lady vibes. If you dont like dealing with people and food then stay at home. We were in town staying at Stone Mountain and were looking for some pizza. We found Izzy's on Yelp and it was everything everyone said it would be. Nice little restaurant in a shopping center, heavy traffic of people picking up their orders. We ate at the restaurant and the pizza was very good (coming from a NY'er). Huge disappointment. After waiting over 30 minutes for pizza and wings on a night that wasn't busy, what we got was a tasteless burned barely cheesed pie. As you can see from the pic, it was burned to the point we could t even enjoy it. I am assuming they were too busy talking and laughing to ensure we got a quality meal. I stopped by here to pick up some food on the way home. The staff was friendly and interacting with the regulars and the food came out quick. I got the lunch deal where you get one slice of pizza, two toppings, salad, and a drink for $7. I only got one topping, pineapple, and it was absolutely delicious. Great price for the size of pizza and everything that comes with it, especially for the taste. The pineapple did look a little sad when I first opened it, but the taste completely made up for it. I was craving pizza badly Friday afternoon. Real, authentic pizza and not from a Domino's or Pizza Hut... So I was in the area and I looked up pizza parlors and this one came up. I saw the reviews from other yelpers and they came highly rated so I thought why not check it out. So I called and the person who answered was very friendly when taking my order and said it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes and it was! The restaurant sits inside of a strip plaza that's connected to a gas station. The inside was cute. To the left there was a couch where you could sit and wait and you can tell they must have had some type of Valentine's celebration there the day before because it was still decorated with the hearts and everything. Although I ordered to go I could see myself sitting in there for a meal. I ordered a medium sausage pizza and the pizza was huge and covered with meat. The sausage was season very nicely and there was plenty of ooey gooey cheese, my favorite! I paid about $15 for the pizza but I was satisfied with the cost and the value. I was so excited about the pizza that I could not wait to get home to eat it. As I drove I started breaking off pieces of it which was quite difficult because it was extremely hot, but that didn't stop me. At one point I had cheese just running down my hands dripping onto my clothes but I continued eating that pizza. I like that the crust was thin and the edges had a little Kris to him but some chewing us as well . I would definitely return again. The only change I would make would be to put a bit more Italian seasoning on the pizza but other than that a job well done. read more

Located at the intersection of Rockbridge Rd and Lawrenceville Hwy at the Citgo gas station complex, this place may not give you great hopes from the external looks, but inside its a whole different story. Interesting decorations, enough seating for many people ,clean and well-organized environment are definitely a plus for any food place and they have got it checked. Service was quick and the people working there were very nice and jolly. However, their main magic lies in their food. I tried a slice of pizza with steak toppings and it was really good. However, this slice which was big in size and fully covered with steak bought me down by almost 5$. An expensive slice but highly satisfying. I also tried their lemon pepper wings and absolutely loved it. The wings were not tiny bitty as you would find in many places, they were good in size and well seasoned. In summary, I would definitely visit this place in the future. Even though it is quite a drive for me, I believe it is worth it. Surprisingly good pizza for the cost! This is a fantastic "diamond in the rough" in a small, old shopping plaza in Lilburn. The service is prompt and you can tell that the family working the restaurant feels a sense of pride for their food and business. I ordered a large NY Supreme from Izzy's for the first time this past Tuesday for my husband and me. It's super close to our house & the Yelp reviews are good so we gave it a try. To our surprise, it was the best crust we have ever had and we love pizza. So we decided to order another one Saturday, but this time with extra cheese & double pepperoni. I also ordered lemon pepper wings and a stromboli. We were so disappointed. What could have happened in 4 days? The pizza was nothing like the one we had on Tuesday. The taste was blah and the crust wasn't great or even good like before. And I sure didn't get any extra cheese or pepperoni which I paid for. The wings were pretty standard and the Stromboli was disappointing as well. I really wanted to love this place as our new pizza joint but such inconsistency does not sit well. read more

Although me and my family only tried the pizza I will give it the full 5 stars. The pizza is amazing. It has the perfect amount of cheese to perfect amount of toasted crust that gave me memories of real New York pizza. It was simply nostalgic to taste those flavors put together again in this area. My next menu item to try is their wings! The staff was also very friendly even though, admittingly, we walked in 15 minutes before close. We were greeted with a smile, and given as much time as we needed to look over the menu. We were just told we had to place the orders to-go. Izzys is now closed on Mondays. I love this place for a quick slice and wings. The parking can be bad a times because the establishment shares parking with the other stores in the complex but I always find a spot. The big black couch is comfortable to wait on and the place has a nice family vibe. I'm a jersey girl and I approve of this place. read more
