One of the best juice bars in town. The new location is so modern and cute and right in the heart of midtown. Jüs has a variety of things to choose from. Staff are super cool over the phone and in person. My favs items are the smoothie bowls and fresh pressed juices. The juice cleanse is also a great item to purchase. I did a " juice 'til dinner " and loved it. All items are pretty reasonably priced being that you are getting quality ingredients in each item. Definitely need to make my way back to the shop soon. I work in a studio down the street & I visit Jüs on a pretty regular basis . I usually get the Supreme Gotta Green which consists of Kale , Spinach , Strawberry , Banana , etc . The blend of their smoothies are always consistent & smooth . I love that you can add elements like Hemp Protein & Collagen . Jüs uses raw & pure ingredients, not loaded with sugar & they are still delicious . The açaí bowls are the same , have a good ratio of ingredients & very well presented . Contrary to other reviews , I've never had an issue with customer service . They always greet me as I walk through the door , take my order mannerly . & I never have had to wait longer than five minutes for my order to be made . The atmosphere is cute , mod & simple . The place makes okay smoothies, but I don't like the fact that when you pay for a 20 oz smoothies for $8 they really only fill up for not much more than 16 oz. I love this spot! We stumbled upon it by accident while visiting & making a wrong turn in Reno last year. We saw the sign and wondered if it was truly a "healthy" kind of juice/smoothie place, and yes it was! So pleasantly surprised to find an array of cold-pressed juices, cleanses & a nice menu full of smoothies and bowls. I was even able to get my boyfriend - who is usually very skeptical about healthy juices and smoothies -hooked on the cleanses! Every time we're in town this place is our morning ritual, sometimes a second stop in is necessary for an afternoon smoothie treat. I have yet to try the bowls but will definitely do so next time we visit. The menu is straight forward and all of the ingredients are listed on the labels of bottles they sell. They made a green juice blend that was nearly the same recipe that I make at home and my belly was very, very happy. Each individual straw has its own individual plastic wrapper. Each plastic cup with a plastic lid is used exactly once. Is any of this compostable? Absolutely not. Is there some special receptacle to collect this waste plastic wrapping and have it recycled periodically at someplace like Sprouts, Whole Foods, or Target? No. Is it necessary to allow people to select their own straws, which perhaps could be the reason behind the individual plastic wrapper for each straw? No. Many people order the peanut butter and banana smoothie. Still not added to the menu despite months of asking and staff always saying how popular it is and how long it takes for them to input the order. I'm told that people can bring in their own cups instead. Is there a sign telling people to do so? Too logical. MANAGEMENT??? read more

Opening day = $1 juices! I'll take it! Michael was kind enough to surprise me with a Jus drink as I could not make it to the store in person. The Jus was delicious! I had a nice blend including carrots, apple and kiwi (I don't know the exact name because he picked it for me)! The juice was so fresh and tasty, not overly sweet, but just naturally sweet enough from all the fruit. Clean, crisp and delicious! Even after all the ice in my drink had melted, it was still full of flavor! Really, if you've never had a fresh juice blend before, you really should be running to this place. The small size was plenty enough to keep me satisfied. They put huge chunks of ice into your freshly pressed juice here, which after I took the ice out, the juice cup is only half full, I feel this is deceiving. So we are not actually paying for 16 ounces of fresh juice, it is more like 8 ounces. When I pointed this out to the employee, she was dismissive and offered to add another cucumber juiced into the cup if I want. We stopped in on Monday to try out a few juices. It was our first time in, so we inquired about sampling options. They said they didn't have samples but let us open two bottles and made our decision from there. We both had the fortify, and the second bottle we opened he said we could just have because no-one there would drink it (thought this was odd at the time). Later we realized it was because this specific juice, the stamina, was probably the worst flavor I've ever had. Customer service was decent, I just felt they needed to do a better job of walking through their juices with new customers for a more interactive experience. They offer a variety of choices for juices, bowls, smoothies, etc with additional additives if you want whey, wheatgrass, peanut butter and many other options. I personally love the kiwi acai bowl and add peanut butter to it. All of the fruit is fresh and delicious. Jüs even offers two different types of juice only cleanses, jüs until dinner and the overall cleanse, of which I want to try. These cleanses are a bit more on the pricey side but after talking to a worker who had previously done them, he said he definitely notices that he feels better and uses them to detox. I love going to jüs after yoga and especially in the summer! It's refreshing and makes you feel good. Also I really want to try the coffee as it looks absolutely delicious. Just moved to a place a couple of blocks from here & was excited to see this nearby. I walked in & the 2 girls working clearly didn't like being disrupted by a customer. I asked for a lid for my bowl, which was thrown on the counter & she told me "tell us up front that you want a lid." I apologized, though I don't know the rules here so I'm not sure why I did that. I asked if they had one that would fit over the bowl, she said "it fits" then proceeded to smash the lid on, getting fruit all over the counter & bowl.
