I'm very happy with the results of our patio cover project. We had an old patio cover that was an eye sore and ready to fall over. After getting many quotes, I found Bryan to be the most knowledgeable of anyone I spoke to. And with the current price of lumber, going with another wood patio that would eventually end up in the same state was a nonstarter for me. I found J&B to be very accommodating and fast working. The patio looks great and they took care of all the permits and city inspections. I got quite a few quotes so I know theirs was competitive. As others have said, communication could be better. For example, apparently the city did not approve the original plan, which we had agreed would be three posts. So when their guys started installing four posts we thought they had the wrong plans! That would have been good to communicate before they started installing. I guess chalk it up to a small family business. The trade off is their pricing was better, they were more accommodating of things like scheduling and other things, so you have to weigh whats important to you. Overall though, I would recommend them. read more

Brian and his team just completed my project. A complete demo and rebuild of a back master room/patio. My job was previously permitted so I did not go through the city for a permit. Brian provided a great estimate and price. My prior estimate was ridiculous. I'm very satisfied with the job JB completed. My wife as well. Happy wife happy life. Couple cons, communication lacked towards the project, covering my wood floor during project. It's the little things that will boom your business. But overall satisfied. Let me start by saying that jorge is very dilligent, honest, and sweet! I purchased a home that had a patio cover. It was leaking everywhere and causing damage. The company that installed the patio cover offered lifetime warranty but after calling them for 6 months straight and continued damage on my property, I decided that the best ideawas to call a different company since the original company refused to come out even after I mentioned that I am happy to pay to get this fixed due to the damage it was causing. After calling J and B patio, they came to the rescue, called, booked and fixed. Im writing this review because this is the first time it is raining AND NO LEAKS!!!!! THANK YOU JORGE! Bryan seemed competent and above board when we started the process. I accepted the estimate and install for a permitted sun room. Then I had to start repeatedly asking for information. Our install was to begin on June 19 and this entire week Bryan has failed to respond to emails, voicemails, and texts. It also appears there was never a permit submitted to the city. Can only assume this was a sham. Forget this "family" business, and definitely don't pay a dime up front. read more

J & B Patio Covers was the best decision we ever made. They responded quickly to the quote for the patio. We made the appointment for them to come and see the area to be covered due to pictures only give an idea of the space. They were very flexible with my schedule when coming to give the estimate. This business is very professional from beginning to end. They listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. They gave us so many options to choose from. Our original thought was just standard cover. Well it's two different covers in one AMAZING. The installers were respectful of the property when doing the work and of the space. The area was left so clean, it was like they didn't even do the work. They respond well via text and phone. When I say I'm excited about my new patio cover it's probably an understatement I Love My Patio Cover!!! It has transformed the back of our home to an oasis, especially since this Cali heat is about to torture us .
