About 3 to 4 years after the install, I noticed the synthetic grass was getting matted down in the pathway where my large dogs ran. I called them to come out and see if they would power brush the matted areas. They told me I should get a carpet rake and rake the area. I tried this, but it did not work. After talking with other synthetic grass companies I realize one that California Construction did not put anything in the grass to help the blades of grass to stay up and prevent the matting and that they should have power raked the matted area when I asked them. I would not purchase synthetic grass from this company again.

It was only when I came home right as they were loading up to leave that I noticed the switch. Told the foreman this was NOT what we ordered his response was "take it up with my boss". After being avoided for 11 phone calls we finally spoke with the owner who said we were given a "free upgrade". Upgrade? this crap looked like something from a bad miniature golf course and did not have the in-fill, color or realism we were expecting with the item we chose. He would not make good.
