Every time I go to Honda to get oil change, Honda says I need other services. I recently went to Honda dealership the other day for wheel alignment. They say I need to replace my rear brake pads. Which sounds about right because last time I replaced them was 3 years ago. Honda wanted to charge $399 to replace rear brake pads and resurface the rotors. I didn't bother to ask how much to get new rotors because I know they will add at least another $700 base on my previous experience with them. I call Auto City and he quoted me $400 for brakes and brand new rotors. Services I had here over the years: replace spark plugs, replace transmission oil, replace brake oil, replace coolant, replace drive belt, replace brakes and rotors, replace front wheel axle, check AC for freon leaks, and recharge the freon.

Additional work done included spark plug change and oil change. JA Autowerks is about 100 miles from me. But after speaking with the crew there I knew it was the right place for my 2016 Audi RS7. From the moment I called them for a quote until I picked up the car, communication was spot on. Even with a bunch of people out sick, John the owner called me and met me when I dropped the car off. A few days later I was promptly contacted about the price of some additional items and gave the okay for the work. I didn't get to meet Jason, the tech who worked on my car, but I can tell from the craftsmanship he knew what he was doing. I'm meticulous when it comes how I work on my car, and it looks like Jason is also. Since I was so far, Nick took time out of his DAY OFF to meet me to pick up the car. Untrustworthy, deceptive pricing - I would never use this shop again or recommend them…read more I had a minor transmission pan gasket leak, so I brought the car in and even provided the correct replacement gasket as this is a classic car and I was charged for 2.4 hours of labor for a simple transmission pan gasket replacement that shouldn't take more than an hour tops. The next morning almost half the transmission fluid had leaked onto my garage floor. I brought the car back and was told there were other leaks that they missed, and I would get a call that afternoon with an estimate for the repair, but no one called. I followed up the next day and was assured that I would get a call and still no call. I went to another garage, and it turns out the bolts on the rear of the pan were not tightened properly. If I had not seen the leak and driven the car any distance the transmission would've blown.

Just this week, they took care of my parents' Taurus by finding what was causing a weird sound under the hood. Thankfully, it was just a belt- and my parents were relieved to know it was nothing major. They do honest work and always stand behind it. They're also extremely accommodating, so it's always easy to schedule oil changes and bring the car in for service. Their mechanic, Roman, is very thorough when he does work, so you always know it's a job well done. They're also excellent at diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, so repairs/service are always done in a reasonable amount of time. We're never left hanging, because Jim (the owner), always keeps us in the loop and tells us what to expect. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well. The owner, Jim, is a stand-up gentleman and as said before, stands behind his work.
