We finally got our last sub just as they finished serving their last customer in line. Again, this was 30 minutes after we had arrived, 30 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready, and fully an hour and 15 minutes past when our order had been originally placed. This was quite frustrating. I appreciate that the workers appeared to be doing their best, and they did apologize for the wait, which I also appreciate. But I could have gotten my food within 15 minutes if I had just gotten in line with everyone else. I'm not sure what the point is of having online ordering available, if the food isn't going to be ready when promised and the online orders are going to be so deprioritized compared to the in-person orders. Either they need to change their "ready by" times or they need to change their workflow. I will say, the sandwich, which was a vegan turkey situation, was absolutely delicious. I just wish I hadn't had to stand for 30 minutes and watch them make food for other people when our order had already been pending for longer than anyone in line.
