They do so many different things that I didn't know about - they rent power tools and it's super affordable (I rented a sander for 4 hrs for $10), they repair screen doors, they have garden supplies...the list goes on. I like Webb because it has a different setup than most plumbing suppliers. Instead of keeping their merchandise in the back of a warehouse, Webb keeps the commonly sold merchandise on shelves, where you can grab a cart or basket and pick out what you need - kind of like shopping at a supermarket. It's basically self-service, and once you get to know the store's layout, you can get in and out of there very quickly. The way I see it, it's easier and faster to just grab what you want, rather than describe it to a counterman, although all of the service counter employees at Webb are on the ball and know their stuff anyway. The store is very organized. If I don't know where to find a certain item on their vast array of shelves, I just ask someone. Larger items are kept in the warehouse, and most pipe is kept in the yard. In addition to plumbing supplies, they also have an extensive selection of parts and supplies for hot water, steam and forced hot air heating systems, as well as oil burners. While the supply section of the store caters mainly to trade professionals, they have a large plumbing fixture showroom that would be of interest to homeowners. They sell American Standard and Toto toilets, both of which are excellent brands. I always receive excellent service, both in person and over the phone. The supply countermen are very polite and professional, and even have a good sense of humor. Their inside salespeople have helped me track down hard-to-locate repair parts many times. Webb is in a very convenient, central location, just off I-95 in Warwick.

R. E. Coogan Heating Inc. is an exceptional company, and I highly recommend them…read more When our hot water boiler stopped working over a weekend, I spent Monday calling several companies for help. Most either weren't familiar with my boiler or couldn't schedule a service call for days. When I called Rob, the owner of R. E. Coogan Heating Inc., he explained that they were busy but promised to stop by that evening to see what he could do. Rob arrived around 7 PM and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Although he couldn't get the boiler running that night, he assured me he would contact the manufacturer the next day and continue looking for a solution. True to his word, he called me the following day with recommendations from the manufacturer and returned that evening to try them. It was clear that he was doing everything possible to repair the boiler and save us the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, the boiler could not be repaired because the required parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. After exhausting every reasonable option to restore it, Rob helped us move forward with a replacement as quickly as possible. After four days without hot water, I expected we would have to wait at least another week for a new installation. Rob initially estimated that the work could begin Friday and be completed by Monday. However, he called on Wednesday to let me know he had rearranged his schedule and hoped to start earlier. At 3 PM on Thursday, Rob arrived with Henry and Nick to begin removing the old boiler. He then brought in additional crew members the next day and worked hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible. As promised, our new boiler was installed and our hot water was restored by Friday evening. What impressed me most was Rob's commitment to helping us. He went out of his way to accommodate our family, worked tirelessly to find the most cost-effective solution, and followed through on every promise he made. Henry, Nick, and the rest of the team were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home, leaving everything clean when the job was finished. It is rare to find a company that combines expertise, integrity, and genuine care for its customers the way R. E. Coogan Heating Inc. does. We are extremely grateful to Rob and his team for their outstanding service and highly recommend them.
