Love these guys!! Spent many hours carefully wrapping and unwrapping everything ~~ ALL my furniture. The move was seamless and the guys made it FUN!! They dropped and broke our hobart mixer and when they provided us with their insurance they gave us an expired policy. They did not respond back to us with their updated policy. This company does not have insurance. Do not use them. Since the incident they have not retured our calls or messages. I helped my Boyfriend move along side of this company. First of all the delay started in morning and then showing up with no hanging garment boxes which took up more time. Only seemed to me that one of movers was such a hard working man and other two struggled a great deal. I just wanted to sit them down and feed them. Linky, weak guys.... Super nice but not suited to be movers. I get so worried when choosing companies for Services as many unprofessional Mickey Mouse businesses out there. We moved from LA to OC last month. Since our budget was pretty tight, we asked as many moving companies as possible for a quote. Then it was J&R that came up with the lowest rate. When you go with the most inexpensive option, your expectation's not that high right? But they proved me wrong; the two movers (too bad we forgot their names) were the best! They were extremely professional, efficient, and kind. It was a crazily hot day (the temperature suddenly went up by over 10 degrees that morning somehow.), but they worked so fast and still made sure to wrap around all our furniture with blankets. Everything arrived safely and it was done a lot quicker than we expected. We will definitely move with J&R again and strongly recommend them to anybody! read more

In my experience, this company has horrible customer service and does not verify their mover's credentials before dispatching them to the customer's home. I was very lucky to had hired J&R United Moving Solution. Last month my Mom's home was sold and needed to have all the household goods moved to a storage facility. I was going to do it myself with a help of some friends but decided not too and started to look for a moving company. I found J&R through the internet and spoke to Rebecca. I was so lucky that they were able to accommodate me in the last minute. I felt so at ease when I spoke to Rebecca that's when I decided to hire them. They were going to start moving at 3:00 PM on Saturday 9/24, but when I called her back on Friday before the move. She told me they're going to be able to start in the morning instead. This made my day because they can start a lot earlier. When the move began on Saturday, I met two of the movers Enock and Anthony and both guys were professional, hard working and knew what they were doing. Both guys did an excellent job in packing all the household goods from my mom's home and putting them in the storage facility. I highly recommend this moving company and will use them again in my future moves. I will also recommend J&R United Moving Solution to all my friends and family. I hired J&R to move a 2 bed 2 bath apartment approximately 10 miles. After they were an hour late, I called to see where they were. The dispatch was not informed (despite email confirmation) of the move and had not booked movers for me. The movers were ultimately 5 hours late. I had initially moved everything (except furniture) into the apartment by myself in about 2 hours. I expected this to be slightly longer given the new furniture. All they needed to do was dismantle the 2 beds and move the pre-packed boxes. It took them almost 6 hours from start to finish. Not impressed with the speed. Additionally, despite wrapping of the items, some were damaged and the walls in my new place were all banged up and scratched. I asked for a reasonable discount (charge for 5 hours instead of 6) given that they put the entire move back by a day (and I had to take another off of work to make up for lost time). The push back on this was incredible and I was treated dispatch acted like it was my fault they had failed to book the movers. Overall I was not impressed and would suggest anyone considering moving with them to think again. read more

This is not a good company. They are unprofessional, loud,ghetto and they broke so much and stole a lot. They want you to think they are a reliable, and hard-working company. Oh no! These robbers came to steal. We should of known when their owner( Jay) wold not give a receipt. They took off in the truck with all our belongings and we couldn't find them for 20 minutes. I think it was to give to the guys in a car they had to pick up stuff for them. They kept asking for our Tv's and furniture. They stole so much of our stuff ,that we were nearly in tears. How do they call their self a company when all they do is steal. Our stuff that was suppose to be put in their moving truck was hid in the bushes. I found 2 of them but knowing how many they got away with. Some of my neighbors said they seen them taking boxes and bags to a Mercedes car and a pick up truck.I actually seen the Mercedes car pop their trunk and they seen me and took off.Theses low life bastards even stole clothes. How low is that! I think it is the owners relatives that works for them. Not people on the outside that they did back ground checks on. One is a tall ,thin black guy with a African accent like Jay, one was a short black who dropped and broke anything he picked up and the other one is a heavyset Spanish guy,very loud,talks a lot, talks about things he can paint or fix and always asked for some of your belongings of which I think is related to Rebecca. Be aware and if I was you...do not let them move you to your new place. Their just waiting to break in. Not a good company. Do not hesitate to call the police on this lousy , low class company. They were suppose to come early. But, showed up 2 hours later, charged us $1,000 upfront for 10 hours and then jay fled with no receipt , constantly lying and saying he was gonna bring it and his boys only did half a job, leaving all the big stuff but taking down bags and small boxes so they can steal and then only worked half of the 10 hours . They took a lot of stuff downstairs, not putting in the truck, and giving the world of people who live near an opportunity to steal items to. They broke so much of our furniture and broke a lot of glass from our furniture.We were ripped off and robbed from this company. Now I see why Jay said to just leave him the keys and they will move everything out for us. We were their and they still stole underneath us. My neighbors thought they were our friends and didn't say anything till we asked about those movers. Don't waste your time with this loser company. I personally, think they have close friends and family giving them 5 stars so you think their company is good. All a scam! Waiting for their next conquest. I'm leaving them in God's hand. Unprofessional, I called to have my items moved from the down stairs to the upstairs and was given a quote of $200. - 75$ per item. I was given a date - I took off work and they didn't show up. Received a call to rescheduled so I rescheduled and once again the expected date they were scheduled to come they didn't - no call no show - they were suppose to arrive at 10 - I called at 1030 and Rebecca said they should be there by now... let me call you back. Worst customer service experience ever! These guys broke lots of items and did not tell me the truth before leaving. Then hid broken stuff at the bottom while I was distracted. By the time I sorted out all furniture and called them with complaint, they already refused any responsibility and told me I purposely broke my stuff! Ridiculous! Had a great experience with Danny and mike. The team was very helpful and provided me with bags for my bed, I have an intense fear of bed bugs so I was very happy about that. Horrible experience. They shrink wrapped every single thing I own. We had already rented a 15' uhaul and moved all our boxes, but this still took a total of 19 billable hours for a 3 bedroom house. They made 3 trips back to our old house. The last one was for a base of table that they thought we didn't need??? Asked us to not tell their boss about the third trip back. I was in need of a moving company with very short notice and over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2015. I had several very high estimates from other companies but none of them wanted to work/drive over the holiday. Rebecca gave me her best estimate and kept in touch with me during the entire process. The drive ended up taking the truck much longer to reach my destination (moving from Palmdale to Rocklin, CA) because the Sunday after Thanksgiving is the busiest traffic day of the year! This company is great! We had a last minute change to plans and needed a moving company the same day with no advance notice. J&R accommodated us and scheduled us for later in the day. Even though the movers already just moved another customer before us, the works showed up with great attitudes and still had a lot of energy to work quickly and move is out within the 3 hours. The movers were polite, funny, and took direction very well. It turned out to be an easy move for us and we're thankful it all worked out. Extremely disappointed. I was asked to send pictures of what needed moving. Based on the photo's, I was told my job could be done with the 5 hour package, a 26 ft truck and 3 movers. Of course additional hours were more. I was also told, they were experts in moving pool tables for an additional charge. Well, my 5 hour window went over by several hours, they broke 2 of the 3 slabs to my pool table, and I have damage on several of my pieces of furniture. They pay $0.60/lb for damaged items - I took them at their word that the pool table slabs weighed 100 lbs each, & they jumped at the chance to pay the damage at 100 lbs each. When I had to have true professionals out to repair my pool table, I learned that the slabs in fact weigh 200 lbs each. When I tried to get them to pay for the full weight damage - all I got was lip service. If I could give less than one star I would. read more

Everything about this move was handled exceptionally well. From the initial conversation with Rebecca to set everything up to the actual delivery and set up of our furniture and boxes, every step was excellent. The team of two amazing guys started at our pick up location by getting everything wrapped and packaged so that it would travel safely and then moved everything including side-by-side refrigerator down 2 flights of stairs and loaded it into the truck. Then from there they went to a location where the rest of our stuff was stored and took the same care with all of our furniture, household goods and boxes. When they arrived at our new home, they took everything off the truck, placed it where we wanted it and unwrapped and assembled as needed. When commenting on the condition and care taken with our glass top dining table, one of the guys told us it was because "we take care of everything as if it were our own!" What a great attitude. These two guys were so hard working, efficient and capable that we would definitely recommend J&R to others and will use them again if ever necessary. read more

This is absolutely the worst service I've ever actually paid for. Starting from the owners Jay and Rebecca which are married. The level of communication was zero. Emails went unanswered, calls went unreturned and if I had another option I would of canceled my appointment with them. The drivers arrived one hour late, they took four hours to load a 500sq ft apartment that was packed and ready to go. They didn't bring the correct tools needed to disassemble the beds which I had to leave and go purchase twice from auto zone because the driver gave me the wrong size to get. They failed to bring carpet protection for the rain which they took my items in the truck to purchase who knows what's missing out of my stuff. After they left I realized that they stole the socket that I purchase and left my rench. It took a total of 9 hours for them to complete the move. At one point one of the drivers stated that they wouldn't be able to finish because it's taking to long and getting late and they not getting paid any extra. The owner jay demanded payment before the job was done threatening to keep my items this guy is argumentative, confrontational, and overall agreesive. My house is a mess from them just throwing items anywhere, and leaving trash all over the place I had to call off work. They only moved boxes, a day bed which they damaged, a bunk bed, and a refrigerator Again if you avoid using this company it would be one of the best choices you can make. read more

We unfortunately did not have a good experience with these guys. They underestimated the size of the truck we'd need after we gave them the requisite specs (note that the last moving company we hired sent someone ahead of time to scope this out). The guys they sent were very slow, and the "packing help" that we paid extra for was laughable at best. On top of this, after they rented a 2nd truck to accommodate the rest of our (explicitly stated) belongings, it broke down somewhere along the 5 near Bakersfield, which meant they had to transfer everything to a new truck, and a handful of items disappeared (if anyone finds 2 empty 5 gallon water cooler jugs by the freeway...those were ours). On the unloading side, they were again very slow and seemed baffled by the challenge of unloading in an urban area (read: busy street, into a condo building. Because newsflash, not everyone moves to a ranch house in suburbia). The last straw was when we got a "talking to" about where the team deposited our boxes, because their lousy packing job left everything unlabeled. The only reason I'm being generous with the 2nd star is b/c I felt bad about their truck breaking down. Bottom line: moving is stressful enough. Don't make it worse by hiring this crew (and note to the owner, please take down the photo of our car behind your truck. We did not authorize you to take the photo or put it up for commercial use). read more
