Once the project started, Lucy & her Crew explained what was happening and provided a timeline for the project. We had a Retaining Wall, Pet Turf area, Putting green/fringe, a main turf area, and concrete walkways put in. We did however had a synthetic turf issue where the turf had imperfections on it, (not caused by Advanced Pavers), Lucy & Edgar handled it professionally working with the manufacturer, the issue was remedied quickly. Edgar & Lucy went above and beyond my expectations with this issue leaving us very satisfied with the project. I recommend Advanced Pavers to anyone looking for a talented landscaping company. I had a slow leak coming from my water valve in which I was losing a lot of water. I researched…read moreplaces that could fix the issue and came across this business. I called and spoke with Randeep, who scheduled me within 2 days with an irrigation specialist. I had an appointment this past Wednesday for Danny to come by and take a look at the leak. Not only did Danny fix the leak, he replaced the valve completely with newer, more up to date parts as my home is 20+ years old. After addressing the original issue, he noticed that two of my sprinklers were not functioning and replaced them, even without me asking! Wow! He then recommended that I replace my sprinkler timer as well, since it was also an older/outdated model. I purchased a new timer, in which he took the time to walk me through step by step to make sure I understood how to use the timer and make necessary adjustments and also made sure to go through the schedule not once, but twice to ensure I was satisfied with the watering schedule and overall water flow. During the walkthrough, I noticed there was a huge leak coming from a drip line in my backyard that caused a puddle in my lawn. He explained that the leak in the drip line may have been caused my running it over with a lawnmower or by me accidentally hitting the line with a weed wacker. I asked Danny how much it would cost for him to fix the leak, and he said, "This is such an easy fix, I'm almost positive you can fix it on your own." He then recommended the parts I needed to fix the leak, and sure enough, I was able to fix it on my own! He made sure to keep in contact with me while I went to Home Depot to make sure I bought the right parts. Danny went above and beyond and provided exceptional service! He was patient, honest, kind, and very knowledgeable, which is a true reflection of the company. Nowadays, it's hard to find a trustworthy company that won't take advantage of you! Juan even came out on a Sunday to accommodate our busy schedule, which immediately showed his commitment to customer service. The crew worked incredibly hard and with real attention to detail. They welded five trellises, removed palm trees and cleared out debris, completely transforming the space. On top of that, they created a beautiful surprise succulent garden in the work area, which was such a thoughtful and creative touch. Juan clearly has a strong eye for design. He was intuitive and knowledgeable about the flow of the yard, and it showed in every decision. The team took their time to make everything look just right, from artistically arranging the rocks to carefully weaving the climbers into place. Beyond the quality of the work, the entire team was friendly, polite, and respectful throughout the process. It truly felt like they cared about the final result as much as we did. Juan understands the bigger picture of what it takes to make a backyard install work well long term. He paid attention to the full system including trenching, irrigation layout, gas line installation for the fire pit, plant placement, lighting, and more, making sure everything worked together piece by piece. What stood out most, and why we ultimately chose him, was how genuine he was about caring for our yard plans after talking with several other contractors around the valley and East Bay. I work as a creative lead and tend to be very particular about design and visual decisions, so I was honestly surprised how little feedback I had during the process. Juan's instincts and design sense were strong enough that I ended up trusting him to run with many of the decisions. Juan is extremely hands-on and proactive, and you can tell he takes real pride in his work. Throughout the project he would point out adjustments that would make the yard function better and age well as the plants grow in.
