I contacted this company to do biweekly yard service. Rodrigo gave me an estimate for the first service and then the ongoing service. He was very insistent that I pay half prior to the first service and half when he finished. Ok. I paid. First service was not bad. He said he'd be back in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks, I asked if he was coming back. He asked for my address again (?) and came over. Then he tried to charge me for the full month. Rodrigo worked with us and we are extremely happy with his work. We got a quote from a lot of different places. Wias wasn't expensive, but they also were not the cheapest. However, they were definitely worth the money. They finished the work in 3 days. Each day Rodrigo stayed in contact with me via text about times arriving, what he's doing, and just keeping me up to date. When something failed, like an old sprinkler head we didn't know needed to be replaced broke, he came back and replaced it free of charge even though it was weeks later. In fact, he came back a few times after the work was done to see if the grass was ok and that we knew how to care for it. After texting back and forth a little, they offered to swing by on a Thursday afternoon to give me a quote. I stayed home to accommodate them. We had some trouble scheduling as I live in the Bay Area and informed him of that I arranged with Rodrigo to meet him on Saturday afternoon. He was unsure what time as he said he was working that morning, but he would give me a call on Saturday. I drove to Sacramento to wait for his call. I did not hear from him, so I sent him a message around 1:40. He responded about 3:40 and asked for the address. I gave him the address and his response was, "I can come Monday". I sent him a message informing him that he knew I was coming from the Bay Area and I have wasted 8 hours of my time and $40 in gas and that I do not wish to do business with him. We needed a professional for a tough job, we have a corner house and side of the house facing the street needed a professional touch. We had neglected this area and had bushes that over grown and people parking at street and throwing trash in the bushes, Rodrigo and crew worked so hard and removed all bushes from the roots and cleaned up the area, now we want something that is low maintenace and will decide what we want to do next, either grass or rocks. Rodrigo was literally the best person we could have gone with for this job. His quote was very fair and competitive along with the others we received. From looking at the reviews, people only gave him bad reviews for showing up late to give a quote, none have to do with quality of his work (by the way he showed up during the timeframe given for my quote appointment). Once we decided to go with him he gave us a start date and worked hard day in and day out to give us what we wanted. He checked in frequently to make sure things were going as we wanted them to and to make sure the lay out we wanted was correct before placing the sod. We have two large dogs and he took them in consideration. He told us what nights it was okay to have them in the backyard and when he recommended we take them to the front yard so the work would not get messed up. He always cleaned up after himself. Never left a mess or material behind. I know Rodrigo takes pride in the work he does and is very concerned about the details. He added a cap to our sewer pipe that was in the back yard to prevent debris from going in and he also added a watering system to my trees. He took the time to explain how our new sprinkler system would work and he frequently comes and checks on the sod to make sure it's growing right and getting enough water. We are so impressed with Rodrigo we plan to use him for our future landscaping projects as we still have a lot more work we need done. read more
