After insisting, they decided to "repair" the tire instead, which raised questions about their honesty. The worst part came after. As I prepared to leave, I realized my brakes no longer worked and my trunk wouldn't open--problems I never had before bringing my car in. When I confronted them, their response was simply, "That's not our problem, your car is old." They told me to leave with a vehicle that had no brakes, completely ignoring the danger they created. I called them at 1:22 PM and they ask for my information all over again as if they have no idea that my car is sitting there waiting to be looked at. They tell me my car will be looked at right away and that they will call me back. 5 PM comes around and they still haven't called me back so I called them asking them what is going on. They tell me that there's no one certified/qualified to look at my car until Thursday. So at that point I would've been without my car for three nights meanwhile, I'm incurring all these Uber expenses. I'm so disappointed in this experience because I feel like I should have been reached out to by Wednesday morning and told that there is no one qualified to look at my car. So I show up to the Pep Boys in person to get my keys from back at 6 PM and notice my car hasn't moved from the same exact parking spot I left it in on Monday. I don't understand why no one reached out to me and told me no one could look at my car when they had since 8 AM to let me know. In addition to that there are two other Pep Boys in neighboring towns. They could have told me to drop off my car at a different location and I would've been able to do that easily and I wouldn't have had to spend so much money Ubering around. The car was vibrating whenever I drove over 60 mph. I reached out to Jesse, the owner, who told me to come to the shop whenever I was free. I went around noon on a Monday where I met Joshua. He gave me all the run down that they fix Tesla wheel's for $125 each, fixing the curb rashes were additional $50 and they require holding the car for 24 hours. I also saw many Tesla wheels laying all around the store that assured me they regularly do these fixes. As I was not prepared the leave the car that day, I drove it back few days later. Joshua noted down my contact info and the wheels I wanted to fix. As 24 hours passed I was still waiting for the call, I reached out to Jesse about the pick up time. Within couple of minutes Joshusa called me to let me know it was ready for pick up. Upon arriving, I met Joshua to complete the payment, collected my keys and was on my way. The rims absolutely looked brand new. All the curb rash marks on both wheels were gone. The vibrating issue significantly minimized as well. One minor observation was both wheels didn't come back with their original valve cap. Overall I was really happy with the consistent hassle free experience that came with such a bargaining price.
