We dropped off my car early in the morning and picked up afternoon once they called and ready to go. Time was done sufficiently well, staff was friendly. The only con experiencing from ETD Discount Tire Center was a hidden fee. When my husband got home, I was informed about a hidden fee with including a tire insurance. This was not discussed prior to us during scheduling or drop off. Once my husband realized it, they removed the tire insurance. Please check for hidden fees. Friendly staff, nice facility. HOWEVER-- I went in for an oil change, to which they basically convinced me that my car needed to be checked as a 30,000 mi standard checkup. They recommended that I should change my air filters, then they told me my front two tires had low treads. I asked if I could just rotate the tires but again, they convinced me that I was better off just getting new tires. I swear I overheard the guy say that a wheel alignment would be included in the service, but on the receipt I was charged an additional $100. As I drove off, my new tires had psi of 40 psi and my old ones were at 29 psi. I drove off not realizing but had to go back to pump my own tires later that night as it is dangerous to drive with tires with that big of a difference in psi. Tl;dr - I went in for a routine oil change, ended up walking out with a $833 bill. They tried charging me $950 but I talked them down. $450 in parts and $350 in service fees. They were unclear that this would cost this much. In hindsight, I should've done more due diligence in knowing what my car ACTUALLY needed, not just what they said I needed. read more

This is my go to place for my Jeep Wrangler. I do all my tire/suspension related work here. So far they have been honest with me and does the work as promised. If you have oversized tires, you have limited choices you can take your Jeep or truck. This place and Auto Spring & Wheel in Hackensack is my 2 favorite places for these jobs. I've been to others including dealerships and they don't do well or need to spend a lot more for simple things. No up selling and just straight to the point. A very affordable and reliable place to get your tires serviced. I initially got all my tires replaced here with warranty. I have been back at least 3 times with a flat tire issue and they have been able to identify and resolve the issues, provide a replacement if needed, with very little cost (taxes only) if it is in-warranty. They will work with you and are understanding of your situation and needs. The wait wasn't ever too long and the waiting room is very comfortable, with coffee and tea provided. And clean bathrooms! Austin helped me the last time I was here and he was great! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. They are efficient and provide quality professional service. I'll explain more below, but if you don't have time to read the full thing, the main take away is this: The ETD in Englewood is excellent. Ask for Austin!!!! Ok - so my wife and I went in there this afternoon with a flat tire. Obviously we're already kind of annoyed and in a pissed off mood to be dealing with this, but I swear - Austin was like a shaman. We explained the problem and he was so attentive and sympathetic to the fact that hey - nobody wants to get a flat tire. His biggest concern was that we were ok and then his next concern was to make sure we got what we needed and get back on the road. Actually, what impressed me the most wasn't even the support and attention he gave us - it was the grace and comfort he afforded the rest of the people in the store. There was one lady who....to put it nicely...was being the type of person we see on the 5 o clock news getting kicked off flights. Just beyond rude, expecting anything and everything all at once...a nightmare would be putting it lightly. Austin stayed calm, somehow diffused the situation, and when she was calm, explained exactly how he was going to help. He got into the weeds explaining her exact issue and really dropped some pretty impressive knowledge regarding what the problem was and how they'd fix it. Honda dealership often said my brake fluid was dirty even though I had done a flush at ETD. I thought ETD didn't really flush out but i was charged for it. I went back to ETD. ETD cleaned up my reservoir and put in new fluid. Actually, it was the dull from the reservoir that reflected the dark color of the fluid. ETD does care the customers. read more

I took my car for an oil change on a monday morning, waited for two hours for the car to go up on a lift. After half hour on the lift the manager comes over and tells me that the oil pan needs to be changed and the cost is $2400 and must be left overnight. I turned down the service and took it to another shop and they changed my oil in a timely fashion. There was a stripped plug on the oil pan that needed to be replaced free of charge. That's it! I just love ETD...never thought I'd say that about a tire company but these guys are just top notch all the way and I've been a loyal customer of theirs for over 10 years. Just this weekend, I had a low pressure situation on my son's car. While I'm waiting, I hear the sales guy (wish I knew his name) very patiently walking a customer through what tire balancing means and without trying to sell her anything. Then my turn comes and they could not have been any more accommodating and kind. BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought 4 brand new tires from these guys summer of 2012. They told me that under manufacturer's warranty, anything wrong or defective will be replaced free of charge. Fast forward to now. After getting my oil changed from another place where they did a full systems check 3 DAYS AGO, they determined that everything, including the tires, were good to go. I came home RIGHT AFTER the oil change, I parked it in a spot, and didn't move it AT ALL. 2 days later, I come outside to see that the tire had gone flat. Had the car towed to ETD and told them the situation. Instead of honoring what they told me in the summer they (1) scolded me for not buying their extended warranty, and (2) INSISTED that I DROVE the car on the flat tire, tearing up the tire and voiding the manufacturer's warranty!! Knowing that I was stuck and can't go anywhere, they MADE ME BUY ANOTHER TIRE! Furthermore, they talked to me like I was an idiot, citing their "20 years of experience." Came into to change a blown tire. Guy told me that he had a moral obligation to change all four tires and can't change one tire. I guarantee that's their line they use on all customers. The shop also had a liability issue blah blah blah. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY ISSUES!!! If you drove in, you can drive out!! This place seems like there job is to up sell you. "If I change one tire, the tire size is different and will ruin transmission". I've been running on the spare for months during quarantine, but he says that won't ruin transmission?!? Makes no sense. Went to local auto body. Ordered one tire. Got original tire for cheaper. Lesson, check local auto body first if it's not an emergency. read more

Extremely unprofessional staff management is rude and unreliable. They left stains in my interior and made promises to check the wheel alignment as a courtesy after telling me there is a 99.9% chance that it is off, then never end up doing it. Tire Pressure was not adjusted properly as well, the technician just overinflated the tire to avoid the problem. Service Manager Anthony Yumpo was very disrespectful as well, he had no care for any of our concerns. Highly suggest avoiding this place. read more
