She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. I have to agree with the other reviews in regard to the customer service. The staff seems to be a little preoccupied with their own makeup regimen than helping others figure out their own. I had a particular question and after a distracted answer followed by several mirror looks, I opted to walk away and venture on my own. I do enjoy that Ulta keeps track of your points and gives you discounts. On my most recent trip they had a deal on their own Ulta makeup products. I have to admit, it got me. It got me good. I created my own lip kit (liner, gloss, and lipstick) for about twenty bucks and received a free gift with purchase. The gift was a makeup bag packed with a bunch of Ulta beauty products. The value of the bag itself was around $80 and I was happy to try their products over the most expensive brands. The checkout line went fast and the lady manning the register was friendly and got me taken care of quickly. Based on the reviews, I'll likely steer clear of getting services done here, which I wouldn't normally do in a beauty store to begin with. However, I'll definitely be back to grab my goods. They carry Two Faced products and their all over foundation "Born This Way" is my go-to. They also now carry Kylie Cosmetics. Overall, it's a nice alternative to Sephora and I'll be back.

Then I had my nails done with gel because - gasp- it's terrible to them if you get just regular acrylics, they act like you're insulting them or doing a disservice and are cheap. So the gel looked pretty but it wasn't the shade that I wanted. But my nail tech wasn't feeling well so I just let it slide, the color was still pretty. So it doesn't end there - less than two weeks later my nails start breaking. I went back to get one fixed and even the guy fixing it seemed confused as to why it broke so easily. Obviously they weren't thick enough- that's why! I went back and got them balanced and didn't get gel, the regular polish didn't even look that great but oh well still a lot cheaper than last time. So the other nails broke within the next week one by one. It got to the point to where I just decided the heck with it all and got them taken off- for $15.00 plus tip! This set of nails lasted me about a month roughly. Doesn't get much better than this folks!! I will never go back. A big waste of time and money!

Sam was very generous in the amount of time she spent doing the massage on both my legs and arms. Sam and the team at N-LT nails care about their customers. This nail bar has a bar where you can get a glass of wine or a cocktail of your choosing. Additionally they have plenty of space for big groups. Highly recommend going to this salon. Also they take walk-ins.
