She's really friendly and nice in a non-false way, and she does a fabulous job on 2-strand twists. She does them as good or better than the place I go now - and they lasted really long. But for my twists (natural hair, no extensions) she charged $70, which I think is too expensive. But overall the place is large, spacious, professional, and Geraldine is very very flexible when it comes to scheduling. It's really just the price and the fact that this isn't in the best area of town why I don't go there anymore.

Then I got a call from the salon letting me know an appointment for 30 mins later had cancelled and they could fit me in!!! This was not only good luck, but a sign of great customer service! They were very attentive to get me started with removing old polish while waiting for my technician to finish with her previous client. The stylist started out combing my hair completely to the wrong side/part until I corrected them. That was another giveaway--not even asking the client or observing the part as it's normally worn. The haircut itself was pretty uneventful, but uneven. I was left with some strands longer than others. Some pros are the nice staff and ease of online reservations. They weren't very busy when I was there and the staff members were loitering; I felt on display as the only client in their salon at the time. The pedicure stations looked nice, as does their spa services, but I'd skip the haircut.

The girls were professional yet friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I came through the door. Even the other girls getting their hair done seemed to be regulars and went out of their way to rave about how great studio 3 has always been to them. They have a specific cancellation policy be sure to fully understand the implications of cancelling an appointment before you book. I use the Vagaro app and it works perfectly for me. The salon offers many types of nail services and I impressed with the options. I've yet to get a pedicure but plan to when the weather warms. I mentioned this to her and she just brushed it off. I mention this at the time of payment and they said they'll make sure staff is aware of what a service includes, going forward, agreeing with me. But they didn't change me for a lesser service (polish change) so that doesn't exactly help me! Generally they always seem extremely stressed to stay within very tight time frames (I think my service was like 18 minutes) and kind of churning people out as quickly as possible.
