This place is a cute and easy location to get to (lots of parking). I had Katie do a cut and bayalage (red) into my hair. WOW! She was so friendly and down to Earth! I would HANDS-DOWN recommend her and go back to her. She listened to what I wanted and my concerns/questions. She did exactly what I wanted to my hair and with perfection. Got my hair done today and showed her what I wanted and didn't do nothing like what I asked for she went more of what she wanted for me then what I wanted for myself, plus the pricing at the end for her to not even show a difference at my hair was crazy I have a video right when I left of how bad it look. I don't really know where they wheels came off in this appointment but this one skidding to a screeching halt. I called and made an appointment for 11:15 am for a blowout. I had a full schedule for the day and wanted peice of mind that my hair wasn't going to be a hot mess. I'm no stranger to a blowout, I get one every 2 weeks. I had somewhere to be by 12:45 so 11:15 gave a full hour. I checked in around 11:10 and looked around the products before sitting down. At 11:35 I finally asked the front desk person what the delay was and she acknowledged it was 20 minutes past my appointment time. She came back and told me the stylist was currently finishig putting highlights in and it would be a few more minutes. I let her know I couldn't extend my appointment time. Then I got to thinking. She was doing highlights so someone else was going to be processing for the whole hour of my blowout, which doesn't fit in the time frame. She came out at 11:45 to get me, hollering for Valerie. The gentleman behind the counter had to tell her that my name wasn't Valerie and give her my name. I told her I was on a time crunch and couldn't go longer and that I had to be done by 12:15 or 20 after at the latest. By the time she was done shampooing it was after noon. At that point I knew my hair was screwed. She couldn't get a blowout done in 15 minutes. There I sat with a mop of curly wet hair and a schedule I needed to keep. I ended up asking her to pull it up somehow because there literally wasn't anything to do. There wasn't time for a blowout and I couldn't let it go just crazy curly and wet. So I left at 12:10 with a sopping wet braided crown. It's currently 12:42 and the tail of the braid has fallen out. The saving grace that made this appointment 2 stars was the girl at the front desk who saw how upset I was and offered to comp the visit. Unfortunately I've been in customer service (incluing a salon) for over half my life. I couldn't 100% say in particular this mishap was the stylists fault so I felt I couldn't take that money away from her. She then discounted it 50% because I'm too nice of a person, and I still tipped her. I don't know where the mishap happened with Kenneth's today but the ball was dropped in several locations. read more

I had an appointment at 2:45 today. Didnt get into a chair until 3:10. I understand they're busy but I was on a time limit. My hair dresser was Nicole and she was very nice and I told her exactly how I wanted my hair with pictures and I know she couldn't get it exactly like the picture but she didn't even do anything I wanted besides fading my roots into my hair. I went it to have my balayage touched up, after a recommendation from a friend. It was a weird experience. The colorist had bleach everywhere. It was all over my cape and the chair. I was scared to move while it developed. She didn't put anything over it while I waited in the chair for 15 minutes so I had to just sit still for fear of bleaching out my clothes. The colorist didn't tone my hair either so I left that day with crayon yellow hair. After a day of trying to live with yellow hair, I called and they set me up with a new appointment to fix the color. We both agreed it just needed to be toned and I was very happy with the color results. But then she suggested we let my natural curl come through and proceeded to do all the no-no's for curly hair, like towel drying, rough drying with a hair dryer, shaking the hair, and not using nearly enough product. I left the salon with a mess of (very nicely toned) blond frizz which was embarrassing. I don't think any Olaplex or bond-builder was used in the bleach as my hair is fried now and breaking off badly. Pretty disappointed with (very expensive) service and won't be going back. read more

This was my first and last visit to this salon. I had a haircut for $47 (including tip). I should have run out the door when the stylist explained that there is basically only one way to cut short hair and how it looks depends on the styling. We obviously did not communicate well. My hair looks "old lady" boring....not technically a bad cut, just not a very imaginative one. I'm headed to a different salon tomorrow and hopefully they can do something to help. I wish I could do a 3.5. I decided to get my hair done here for the first time ever sometime in March '15, I got it done with Katie, and wanted a stacked Bob, and she did it perfectly! I was so happy with the results and it took her under an hour to finish it. So 5/5 for her! However, I came back in July '15 and I wanted Katie, but she was booked that day, so instead I went with a girl named Ariel. She scared me because the first half of the hair cut, she asked me to stand, which I've never even had to do before. And then she put about 6 different products in my hair, which weighed it down and made my hair extremely oily. When the hair cut was done, it was just okay. She didn't really retouch my layers, so essentially she gave me an even hair cut, when I really wanted a stacked Bob. Needless to say, I'll stick with Katie. read more

Came in today wanting a treatment done to my hair, I loved it so much and it made my hair so soft. I was expecting to pay $35 for just the treatment. In the treatment- you need to get your hair straightened afterwards to "lock in" the treatment itself.... so therefor you need to get your hair blowdried, just to get straightened. I went to pay, it was $80 ish dollars. In shock I asked "why?", I was charged $35 for the treatment AND $36 for the BLOW DRY (which HAD TO BE included in doing the treatment?) I was so confused and honestly shocked and upset. The stylist never discussed the $36 blow dry with me. I had no idea until paying at the front counter. My hair is great though, just make sure you know exactly what you're paying for before sitting in that chair. read more
