I found Jbikes.net on a sponsored ads on Google. I checked their website and found two bikes that I liked. On the website it stated that the bikes are all assembled and it did not mention any fee for it. Also they state that if you shop in the store you will get a free gift and you pay no sales tax. I thought the bikes were great deal and with the offers it's worth the drive. I drove from LA to their store in La Puente, California. It was close to 34 mile drive each way. When I got to the store, no one came to help me.. In fact I passed by two asian guys at the front counter and neither way said hello nor did they ask me if i needed help. I even made a joke boy are you guys far.. And neither laughed or acknowledged me.. The store was empty and no one else in it. I finally found another Asian guy who was assembling bikes and I asked him for help and he told me go back to the counter. To make a long story short, I finally got help and found one of the bikes that I was looking for. When I asked about the other bike, the employee kind of laughed and said "me and my friends bought all those bikes.." I didn't even bother mentioning that on their site it clearly stated they were available both online and in the store... The other bike I wanted had no pedals, so I couldn't really seat on it and see how it feels, and when I asked where the pedals were, the employee stated that they take them off so no one rides them to try them out.. I found that strange but that's their policy I guess.. The bike also had the chrome cheeping off the handle bar.. I asked them if there is another one?? Then the other Asian guy, who was the owner called his warehouse and found out there was another one.. He then tells me I can go pick it up there.. not that someone will bring it in the store.. again I found that a bit strange for service... and keep in mind I called them before I left to make sure they had that bike in the store and they told me they had a few on hand. I finally decided that I like the bike too much and I wanted it.. all the sudden everything in the price started to change.. First, the owner told me that the price with no tax was good only if I gave cash.. I found that very strange and I have reported their company to IRS as well for tax fraud... Then the owner in the middle of our conversation leaves very rudely and tells his employee "see what he wants!!". Then the employee comes and tells me I also have to pay $23 dollars additional for the installation.. When I brought up the website, the owner came back and said, the website and store are not the same.. what does that mean I asked? It stated all bikes were installed on the FAQ section on their page, but apparently only for the ones ordered online.. but bikes are delivered in a box, not assembled I said.. he ignored my comment.. Then the owner said also the gift are for selected items, and at that moment he did not feel that was a selected item. I told him No where on the site does it list what bikes were selected items.. then he stated " cruisers".. Keep in mind I was buying a cruiser.. But the owner said not that one.. I will not recommend Jbikes.net to anyone.. they are shaddy, they run false advertisement, they are rude, they give no service or help.. the owner is rude and low class. The owner nor the employees had much knowledge of bikes... all their bikes are cheap and from china that are worth half the price.. I would have reported them to better business bureau but off course just like all shady business they are not members.. Furthermore, when I stepped outside to think about what just happen, I saw the owners wife pull up to the shop with a brand new S500 Mercedes worth over $120 ,000... Now I know where all that cash he kept on asking me for goes to.. DO NOT SHOP FROM THEM, THEY ARE CROACKS, SHADY, THEY RUN FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND SALE OVER PRICED, HEAVY, NON-QUALITY, JUNK BIKES AND PROVIDE NO SERVICE!!! read more

Have you ever heard the old saying... "you get what you pay for" well... it couldn't be truer in my case, and I'm sure there are others too. We went down to their location in LA Puente looking for a bike for my husband was on Saturday and they are open . Staff were nice enough and quite helpful so we decided on a beach cruiser. As the bike needed to be assembled we opted to have them do it and was told it wouldn't be ready until Thursday of that week. So Thursday came and I made the 30-minute drive back down and picked it up. So now it's Friday afternoon and my husband has plans to ride his new bike along with some friends. They were going to a local park that has some rolling hill but stayed on the paved paths. After about 10 minutes as he was heading down a slope he applied the brakes... but NOTHING. Lucky for him he was quick thinking and he put his feet on the ground and stopped that way. But what if he had been on a busy street and coming to an intersection... he could have been hit by a car... or even killed. Boy was I angry and when examining the bike after he got home the brake pads looked almost completely gone. There were rubber remnants all along the rim and from what I can tell they looked defective. So on Monday we loaded the bike into the van and made our way back down to their warehouse. This time staff was not as friendly and told us no one could look at the bike for several days. I told her that was not acceptable and you either sold us a defective bike or put it together improperly. After a few minutes of back and forth she told us to bring the bike in and someone would look at it. An Asian man went over it and said he had no clue what happened to it or why the brake pads were coming apart. They offered to replace the pads... but at that point I no confidence in the gentleman... or the quality of the products they used. So I said just give me a refund and keep that unreliable bike! Besides the hassle we went through they charged us a 10% re-stock fee. I said to them my husband could have been seriously hurt or even killed due to your negligence and you have the nerve to charge us a re-stock fee! I just wanted the hell out of that place and chalked the 10% loss up to experience. After that horrible encounter with J bike we went to one of our local bike shops and was greeted and taken care of by people who care and know what they are doing. They had a lot of good suggestions and even let my husband test drive several bikes to find one he liked. Yes, it was a little more expensive, but they said anytime we had a question or concern just call them and they would take care of things. DO NOT BUY BIKES FROM J-BIKES! If I could do -10 stars I would rather put that....this company is SKEEZY and RUDE and just flat out awful......I ordered a light blue bike and a dark teal one came.....I also paid extra for the bike to be delivered by a certain date as it was a BIRTHDAY GIFT....the day after it was supposed to be delivered I call the comapny and they go "Oh I'm sorry it hasn't even been shipped yet....let me get you in contact with the person who handles our shipments....however she is on lunch currently but she will call you by the end of our business day." So I wait and wait, but I still don't get a call....right before their business day ends I call them again and the person goes "Oh she will call you any minute now." Doesn't call me.....THis was on a friday and so I had to wait until Monday to get ahold of them....but I sent a very nasty email with NO response. I called them as soon as I could on MOnday panicing that this was entirely a cheat company that wouldn't even give me abike.......I get a hold of the SAME woman who claimed she would get someone of a higher level to contact me,...and once again she claims that she will contact me by the end of the day and isn't even apologetic. I still don't recieve the call and call the next day....this time a boy answers the phone and says that once the bike comes I can call and get a partial refund....So I wait for the bike to come....it is finally delivered about a week and a half later than they promised it would be........The color is entirley a wrong blue......I call to get my refund 3 days in a row.....no call back like promised.......today I finally got REALLY nasty with a boy on the phone saying I better get a call back or I will continue to call and call and call, FINALLY get a call back and recieve a $2.95 refund after all of this........oh and they will fix the color for me...if I PAY for the shipping expenses to get it sent back. DO NOT order from these people. THey are skeezy, liars and RUDE. Everytime I was the nicer one on the phone even though I was the customer who paid $250, than the employees were (until the end....but even in the end they were hardly apologetic and were rude) I am completely furious and dissapointed....THis is abosolutely unnacceptable. I have been looking for a certain cruiser and I found jbikes on the internet in my search.. I happen to read the comments of many people, in fact at the bottom of this page there is a link called filtered where it even shows more comments about this business.. I am Asian and some of the comments seemed a bit out of line that were left by other customers... and so I thought I better go and check it out myself... unfortunately the comments were pretty justified... I did not get good service, they were rude, their items were mostly dented and had scratches and paint chip on most of their bikes... and for some reason they kept on staring at me like they have not seen a pretty Asian girl in their life... I wish I would have gone with my boyfriend or brother. Anyways, like others stated in the reviews the price was not the same as advertised.. they lack manners and I will never go back.. Order this bike a while back ftom J bikes website. When I receive the bike it looks different from the picture and it didn't look new. I try to call the shop for days NO ANSWER. Then I decided to go to the shop. I was told that's the model that I had order and they said it has been a little over a week that I bring back the bike and it has been use (which I never did ) . They refuse to take the bike back and said it is not in it's original condition ! THEY SAID I HAVE USED THE BIKE . I was so disappointed about being rip off but I decided not to argue anymore. I had no choice but to leave. I had use the bike a few months for going to work and I had the bike locked up at the back wheel . I guest someone had try to steal the bike by pulling it hard. The bike is in such a bad quality. The back wheel and the support bar in the middle broke . My lock hasn't even broke and the bike broke . I am very disappointed again and just like to share my experience. read more

I ordered the Chloe women's beach cruiser from J bikes for my wife's birthday. I called them on Monday, the 25th to inquire about the experdite shipping to Arizona because my wife's birthday is on the 27th (in 2 days). I was surprised that Johnny (the rep) told me I do not need to pay extra for expedite shipping. He guarantees me that he'd ship the bike right away and my wife will receive the bike on or before the 27th. So long story short, I took his words and BAM...the bike was delivered on 27th at 11:30 am!!! My wife was so happy and in love her vanilla bike. She even went back to Jbikes website to purchase some accessories to match up her new bike. I really glad I made my choice with J Bikes for their honesty and outstanding customer service. My husband and I were looking for a beach cruiser for my daughter. We heard about J Bikes from friends and decided to check them out. OMG I am so glad we did!! The place has such a great selection of bikes! The staff were all super friendly. There was one girl who stood out alot, I dont remember her name. :( But she was super helpful. So we came in just thinking of buying 1 beach cruiser and ended up with "2" beach cruisers! What is service.....??? The word is unknown to JBikes.....they sell you bikes not operational and covered in plastic...that you need to disassemble the bike to get off. If you need a crusier go elsewhere. You will have less aggravation and much more customer service at better prices. The cruiser they sold me was not operational......I took it to a reputable bike shop and they said the gears were never set to manufacturter specifications.....HELLO!!!!!!!!!! Was looking for a nice bike that I'd be able to ride to school for the upcoming school year. Went to JBikes not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Really good customer service! I bought the general micargi beach cruiser that is out of stock everywhere else besides this place and I'm planning to mount an engine onto it and also make the bike look like a motorcycle. The guy named Johnny was extremely helpful and knew what to suggest for things I wasn't sure on. Prices were also pretty good compared to other places. I ordered this bike on their site which they said they only sell new bike. There was a scratch on the bike when I first get it. I ended up have to call the shop and they said they are not responsible for damage related to delivery. I was told I can touch up the 3 in" scratch on the my brand new bike. The bike still sitting at our garage and problem hasn't been resolve. We took the bike to one of our local bike shop for estimate. See if they are able to repair and how much would it come to. Turns out the back wheel needs to be replace and the body of the bike is just a joke to them. Their advice is to just get a new one. read more
