I used to be a regular because of the rewards points, but I stopped going. They push services on you and back handedly insult you when you don't upgrade (your feet are rough, you need extra callous remover for just $5 more etc) and service varies from person to person. I had several indiciduaps cut my cuticle so short they bled (they then put acetone on it to stop until I yelled). I don't get a pedicure often and I certainly don't want to leave bleeding or insulted! read more

Horrible. Pedicure lasted about 10-15 minutes and polish started rubbing off before I even left the salon, despite them saying my toes were dry and I could leave. Woman who did pedicure was beyond rude and seemed very annoyed to work there. Man who did my 11 yo daughter's pedicure smelled terrible and was equally as bad as the woman who did mine. Definitely didn't seem as sanitary as it should be. Their reward system stinks and you can hardly use it on any service - and they prefer you don't even bring it up. I used to come here regularly for just gel manicures and they did okay (I usually got the man who sits by the register so assume he's the owner or one of their top staff members), but with the awful pedicure experience, overall service going so downhill, and so many other much better salons nearby I won't be coming back. read more

It was my first time at the nail salon and I had initially chosen to try it because they advertised how clean it was. Unfortunately the guy who did my gel manicure was a bit sloppy with the polish, rushed and rough taking off my old polish. A few of my nails look sloppy like I did them myself. Also he put WAY too my polish on my nails (both color and top coat). A lot of the polish got under my nails and on the sides making them feel gummy and sticky since he applied it sloppily. I told him one of my nails in particular annoyed me but when he tried to fix it, he ended up cutting under my nail. Ive had a similar experience like this at another salon and it horrified me so much I didn't think I could get my nails done again. Definitely a waste of $25 plus tip and I will not be coming back in fear of getting cut again! I wouldn't recommend going here! Theres other places in brookfield that also charge $25 like vienna or lavender. Much better quality for sure! read more

Worst pedicure I have ever gotten. We were walk in appointments, asked if we should come back later, and they said no, they could fit us in now. I recieved a pedicure that lasted less than 20 minutes. No massage, just file, lotion, and polish. This place doesn't deserve your business read more

I cannot express how great Kevin and his team is!! I have been coming here on and off for years and have had nothing but great experiences. Just recently I had a bad experience at another nail salon closer to where I live and I couldn't got back there for them to botch my nails even more. I decided to drive the almost 40 minutes to see Kevin as I knew he would fix the mess that I had going on. So the quick fill turned into a whole new gel set as the other set had to be replaced (and was only 3 weeks old). Kevin was great. Fast but still kept his attention to detail. I am currently sitting at the nail salon getting a manicure and pedicure. I usually tip 30-40% but today will not be. The man doing my toes is rushing. This is the quickest pedicure I have ever received. It's been less than 7 minutes and he is finished. I am confused because usually when Ian come to this salon, they are very time conscience and take their time, however today it's almost as if he has no desire to even be here. I am trying to have a conversation with him and he won't respond. He just keeps taping whatever foot he wants me to move. Even thought I live close by in Brookfield, I will drive the 15-20 minutes to Danbury from now on to receive good service!! read more

I used to be a loyal customer for about 3 years until I realized the lack of professionalism. I started to leave feeling very "meh" about a year and a half ago but never really paid attention until I realized that I should be leaving the nail salon feeling better, more relaxed and refreshed...and that just wasn't happening. Every tech barely speaks english which makes it very difficult to communicate, there are multiple televisions on which makes it loud and there is ALWAYS a sense of being rushed. Have a look around yourself the next time you're there---look at the customers. Do they seem happy? Relaxed? The answer will speak for itself. I've found another salon right down the street that is quiet, professional and relaxing for the same cost and same benefit program. Switching was a no-brainer. And PS to Kevin - allowing your employees to hang around the front entrance smoking while still in their aprons is highly unprofessional and unsanitary. read more

I came here on the recommendation of a friend and unfortunately am very disappointed and will not be returning here. The customer service is terrible and they do make you feel like they are talking about you in their native language right in front of you. I came here 3 times since a friend said they were "great", each visit was worse than the previous one (I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but should never have returned after the 2nd trip). The first visit was ok, the technician was friendly and nails looked great. However, the second visit was a terrible experience. I was bounced around to three different technicians because not a single one of them wanted to "file" down the sns dip that THEY told me had to be filed down and not soaked when I saw them two weeks earlier due to a tip being placed on it during the first visit. SO in the time I was bounced around and it was obvious they were annoyed that they had to take on this task, finally someone did it, but not without making me feel like such an inconvenience. The third and last time I went, I was rushed and the service was a bit lack luster, as it became apparent when my nails started all peeling off 3 days later. That's not even the worst part, I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and have never had any type of fungal infection, this is the first place I've gone to in all my years where I have gotten a fungal infection on TWO of my nails. this place is getting worse and worse. Absolutely horrible service! Very unpleasant to hear ladies complaining about the client if you ask them something while they think you don't understand their language. Big mistake to think that Americans speak only English. the quality of service got worse as well. their point system is fine - you'd think, but try to redeem those points! they look at you like an alien. there is one older lady working there - she should NOT work with kids at all! first she should learn at least to pretend to be nice. While doing my daughters nails she had very sour face, talked nasty things about me as i asked her to give my daughter (6 years old) a pillow behind her back, so she could be more comfortable in a big pedicure chair. again - don't assume other people don't speak your language. then she filled the pedicure tub - 2 inch deep. the child couldn't even reach the water. i pointed that out, asked her to put more water and again got nasty things about myself. I wasn't screaming, i asked politely, with all please and thank you's. And if you think about waxing there - DON'T!!! they have ONE wax tub for everything - they use the same wax for face and brazilian for all clients!! they do not use gloves either! I usually have a pretty good experience with Brookfield Nails. I do feel like they always try to upsell and I don't like that. I walked in to have a mani/pedi and if you go during the week Monday thru Thursday it is $25 for the basic one...cool, ok, lets do that... So I sit in the pedi chair, the girl happily starts work and then picks up the menu and asks if I want one of their more expensive treatments... No, thank you, just the basic $25 mani/pedi as I asked. She tried asking again-- then when I said no, her happy attitude got all bitchy as I wasn't worth her time since I wasn't spending a bunch of cash today. She stopped talking with me, rushed me a long and did a horrible job with my nails, bubbly polish and a smudge on my thumb. UGH, so disappointed in the service. I picked Brookfield Nail because they were a clean facility and I like that but I can do without the attitude. read more
