My furnace wasn't kicking out heat for the last few days. Since it is right before Thanksgiving, I was having trouble getting any appointments. Our contractor recommended Joey, and he was able to come out next day (today) to have a look. He was very professional and explained the workings of the furnace and why it was having issues. During the peak of the heat, a few weeks ago, I ran into several issues with my air-conditioning unit. Being a renter, I had to wait on approval for a vendor and for repair cost one problem was fixed and a new problem started. One vendor refused to come out, another vendor came out, completely, dismissed the problem, and never attempted to order parts I had been without AC for a week and cannot be without climate control due to medical conditions. Desperately, I reached back out to property management and told them that I had been given a contact for another vendor. Enter Joe! I called Joe and explained the issues I was having with the AC. He listened and explained what he thought. Could be the problem and told me that he could be at the house within an hour. He was actually waiting for me to get home from work, and was very patient. He quickly and efficiently diagnose the problem (which was a confirmation of what he told me over the phone initially). He performed work right away, including checking airflow inside the house to make sure the rest of the system is working. When he said I may need a new fan motor I was in despair, considering the last place told me they had to find the model number and would have to order one. when asked how long it would take Joe told me he had one on the truck outside and it was brand new. He diagnose the problem, offered solutions and perform the work, and have my AC up and running in just under one hour! His rates were reasonable, and he was very transparent. He was professional and courteous and friendly. It was evident that he was a professional and had been doing this for quite some time as I watched him diagnose and make repairs. Great service very knowledgeable and friendly, goes beyond the call of duty. A friend of mine recommended Joesph Choy last year when my heater stopped working. My husband passed a few months before so my daughter suggested I get other quotes which I did and Joseph's was the best quote. Was rereferred to them when our unit started acting up. They came out and fixed our aging unit. Ask for a quote to replace the A/C unit. I was asked if I wanted to replace the whole HVAC unit. Since I had put them in at the same time, I figured I might as well. Upon inspection of our system, he assured me I only needed to replace A/C unit. Proceeded to get unit replace after getting my quote. They came in and installed new unit, taking care to cover my floors on their path. They were also ok with my dogs being loose, which I didn't want them locked up all day while they worked. All in all, got exactly what we were promised, and they were done a bit earlier than expected. So we got our 20 seer unit at a good price, it is very quiet, and we got a 10 year warranty!
