It was busy as heck... but you see I actually placed an order online and just went in to pick it up! Bahaha magical unicorn hint!!! When you order online you pick up on the second floor in home goods. There's a register area with a sign just for jcp online orders. So essentially in black Friday I walked past all of the anxious angry at me shoppers to the front of the line and was immediately called up. Im telling you.... definitely the way to go. There is parking for the lower level where women's, juniors and make up e.t.c is and more parking around the other side for the second level where mens, kids and home goods are. Some pretty freaking awesome black Friday specials (like fleece shirts for $6.99 essentially a steal). After picking my items up I went and tried the items on right there in store and ended up buying more because of how much I liked them. Service was awesome. Store was clean. There is an elevator and escalators. The store also opens up to the mall. I will be back but I will order online first... yea!!!!

My mother is elderly and I have a difficult time breathing without proper air ventilation so I got sick within minutes. All customers that walked in from the mall to JcPenney immediately felt the drastic change in temperature. I am giving them grace and hope it was a mechanical mishap and not intentional. I know business is bad, but that made it worst because we couldn't shop under those circumstances. I hope they take care of that!

I have utilized every opt-out resource available, including DMAchoice, the USPS opt-out service, and direct contact with the company on six separate occasions. I received my first unwanted catalog on June 10th and immediately emailed Marine Layer to request removal from all marketing lists. The company responded the following day, stating: "No prob. You can unsubscribe from our catalogs here. It can take 8-12 weeks to stop getting catalogs, but have no fear, once we have your information, we will place your address on our 'do not mail' list." I followed the instructions provided and reasonably assumed the matter was resolved. However, on September 27th, fifteen weeks after completing their form, I received another unsolicited catalog. I contacted Marine Layer again to report that I had already completed the unsubscribe process, yet continued to receive marketing materials. On September 29th, the company replied with the exact same message quoted above, offering no acknowledgment of my prior correspondence. Later that same day, I replied and asked whether their response meant an additional 8-12 weeks would be required for removal. The company did not reply. I sent follow-up emails on October 1st, October 4th, and October 7th, each reiterating my request and eventually making a formal demand that all promotional materials cease. None of these communications were answered. On November 2nd, I received yet another unsolicited catalog. At this stage, I consider the company's conduct to be neglectful and bordering on harassment. Marine Layer has lost at least one customer--me.

My style is more eclectic and I rarely find anything here but stop in once in awhile always hoping. The sales person did the measurements in the doorway to main fitting room, not even in a fitting room. After she measured my mom, looking disgusted the whole time, she brought us 5 bras that didn't match the measurements she had just taken. She then proceeded to walk in on my mom as she was changing once she finally got a room to change in - no knock on the door, no "are you ready", nothing, just opened the fitting room. My mom has recently lost a good deal of weight and was hoping to get spend a good deal of money on new bras and we walked out with nothing and we won't be back. Of note - another attendant also walked in on another customer without knocking. Do better.

It's a true outlet with lots of discounted items - perfect for picking up layering pieces in various colors. Of course they also have jeans, and now a days, they are offered in a wide range of styles and sizes. Straight, wide, super wide, baggy, barrel (not for me) and slim, skinny. Appreciate that they have moved away from just skinny jeans all day, every day. This outlet mall has never been a destination for me like Woodburn Outlet Mall is - Woodburn has 20X the number of stores - but since I am always driving the Hood River to Portland route, it's definitely worth a stop.
