It's a heck Yes for me! We did not want to be bothered with the crowd at Fumi and decided to just order take out from J ONE and now this is officially our new hibachi spot! Well seasoned fresh veggies and plenty of them ( Veggie Hibachi) and my niece is visiting from Knoxville was going crazy over the shrimp & Chicken hibachi, the food came with soup or salad, we chose the soup and ordered a side of spring rolls, the dipping sauce had a hint of ginger and was very tasty. The restaurant kinda gives "take out"vibes but its extremely cute, it was clean and comfy for anyone thats dining in. The prices were gooooooooooood! I paid under $40 for all of that food, and the food is plentiful. Nice service too.... Definitely check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped by for lunch with a coworker and was impressed. The place is clean and has ample space for multiple small parties to each there. And For $11 at Lunch you can get all this?!? Yes please!!!! It was wonderful and cooked at the desired temp. The steak was a tad bit salty for my tasting but still really good. The service was fast and good. Will be back!

Was looking for Hibachi on DoorDash durning my lunch break and noticed J One. I knew it had to be fairly new because I had never seen it before and I get hibachi frequently. Moseyed over to Yelp, as one does, to see the verdict and to my surprise there weren't any reviews yet. I decided to take a chance anyway and I'm very glad I did. I got the Hibachi steak with Hibachi rice and everything was delicious. The veggies were fresh and the steak tasted great (although I ordered it cooked medium and it was definitely medium well). The yum yum sauce was also much better than comparable places in the area. It wasn't watery and had great flavor. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough teriyaki sauce (there was hardly any), so going forward I'll definitely request extra. Overall very solid place and they package the food really well.

Hands down, the best sushi in the Duluth area! The sushi rolls were incredibly fresh and flavorful and they have a large menu of tea and coffee drinks, too. Our new fave place in Duluth!

The guy at the counter was very helpful in suggesting rolls that I would like, and the food did not disappoint. I have found my new go-to spot; reasonably priced, high-quality, and a perfect amount in each portion.

Fantastic food! The online pictures don't do it justice! Very fresh, cooked to order, took a little time but with as amazing as it was, we didn't mind at all! The tempura shrimp roll, California roll, and spicy tuna rolls all so fresh and delicious! My husband order the bento box with steak and chicken, which was cooked to perfection! It came with a soup or salad, 2 spring rolls, perfectly sautéed fresh vegetables, and he chose hibachi noodles to go with his. So yum! Our daughter had the same but with the hibachi rice and she loved it, and our son enjoyed his hibachi steak bowl with was also served with hibachi rice, and vegetables. The ambiance was casual, we ordered at the kiosk and sat to wait for our food. We will be back for sure!!!

This place is a gem! Stopped by on my lunch break to grab a quick bite to eat. I decided on the lunch special #1 which is 2 maki rolls and either a salad or soup. I grabbed the Alaskan and Spicy Salmon roll with a salad. The service was so quick and the young man helping me was really helpful and patient. Well worth it for the quality of food i got for under $11. The maki rolls weren't stuffed with rice and the fish quality is fresh. 10/10 will be back.

Cute and casual take out spot, with some tables inside for dine in. The place was extremely clean and the workers were super nice and helpful. They also had some lemon lychee water that was self serve. The rolls ranged from $12-18 and were pretty filling. All the raw fish tasted super fresh, especially the J1 roll. There was also a lot of cool artwork and light installments that added an overall nice touch to the place. I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu items!

The store is newly open and very clean. It is a self service restaurant with sushi and hibachi, but we just ordered sushi and sashimi. Sushi is very fresh and price is reasonable. We like all the ones made with shrimp tempura and fish egg. We also got a good price as they are running a promotion that with a receipt from Eiss next door, all items in J-one half price.

Yumee Katsu is a modern-style katsu spot, and overall, the food is tasty even though I've definitely enjoyed some dishes more than others. My go-to order is the Assorted Katsu meal, and it's a winner for variety, flavor, and portion size. You get a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura, fish katsu, and pork & cheese katsu, plus the option to add a small side of udon or soba noodles. The fish katsu is light and flavorful, and the pork with cheese is a full-on cheese pull party. I also really enjoy their salad dressing and the dipping sauces that come with the donkatsu and fish katsu- they add a lot to the meal. The ambiance has a nice, modern vibe, and the service has always been friendly and welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch: they offer Asian candies for guests, which is a fun little refresher after your meal. Overall, Yumee Katsu is a great spot in Suwanee if you're in the mood for well-executed katsu in a cool, comfortable setting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

I was a huge fan of this place when it was strictly Japanese...and was quite bummed when I heard…read morethey changed this restaurant from Japanese to Asian fusion. In any case, I finally decided to check out the place for dinner. Well, right away, I saw that they added more tables. Even with more tables, the restaurant still seemed pretty spacious. I've always loved the spaciousness of this place...but I find the layout a bit awkward. Unless you come with a group of 4, you'll most likely be seated in the open area...where there's just this utter lack of privacy. So yeah, as nice as this place is, there's a certain lack of comfort and coziness? I also noticed that their menu/menus looked quite different. Initially I was handed just this Korean-Chinese menu...and when I asked if they had Bento Boxes, they handed me the Japanese menu, but I didn't see any sushi rolls on the menu (??). I should have asked, but I just let that go. In retrospect, I really regret not asking. But then again, I wonder why they didn't hand out ALL the menus right off the bat? Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

Outstanding ramen, incredible fresh noodles, and excellent service from Aaliyah…read more Okiboru Ramen Takumen in Duluth was absolutely worth the visit, and honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

It was around 8 PM on a Thursday night, and the place was pretty empty. There were only two occupied tables including us. The service was simple but friendly. Since it's a tonkatsu place, most of what we ordered was fried: - Mentai Cheese Stick: It was okay. I mostly tasted the cheese rather than the cod roe, and it was a bit salty. - Chicken Katsu - Shrimp Katsu - Pork Katsu Because most of our order consisted of katsu dishes, the flavors started to blend together a bit. There wasn't a huge difference in taste between the chicken and pork katsu. The restaurant itself is clean and has separate booth seating, which gives a nice sense of privacy. The food was good, but not quite as impressive as I hoped for from a tonkatsu-focused restaurant. Quality-wise, it felt more like a high-quality fast food chain rather than a traditional Japanese restaurant specializing in tonkatsu. The meat and shrimp quality were decent but fairly average overall. Nothing to really complain about, but also nothing especially memorable or rave-worthy.
