We had to take a pic with the cow
    Lisa R.

This ice cream business is artsy and fun! Had to take a picture with my family in front of the cow. Large location, seating is inside and outside. Staff was friendly, knew lots about ice cream and offered if we wanted toppings. Art work on the walls looked lovingly displayed. Staff mentioned one may read the artist's bio as well, which is highlighted on front wall near the enterance. Fun time to celebrate my brother's birthday. I got flavor salted caramel ( I ate it so fast; so good I didn't get a picture). Ice cream is super delicious, although pricy; I got a small size. I definitely want to return. Cheers!~

Been coming here for years . This location, in particular and it's my favorite. The ice cream is always good. They switch up the flavors and always have samples to try. I stick to maple butter walnut or yogurt x, but, today I tried salted caramel cookies & cream. Soo good!!!! Service is always friendly, warm and welcoming.

Some of the best pumpkin ice cream I've had. They mixed it with Oreos which was surprisingly good. The price was expected but we did get to sample a few things thanks to the staff. Most options were written on the board. We just sat and ate after inside.

    Small sorbet ($6)

This place happened to be along the route of one of my morning runs, so after my work out, I stopped by for a sweet treat to replenish some glucose. The place was peaceful and empty in the morning around 9 when I went. For just over $6, I got a small sized, nondairy soft serve with watermelon and pink lemonade sorbet. It was very refreshing and perfect on a warm summer day! There were plenty of seats plus free WiFi, so I imagine it's a nice place to hang out or get some work done too!

Never disappoints. This was my first time getting a smoothie, cause I always get the maple butter walnut. Pretty good!

I visited with two of my friends on Friday afternoon. I was surprised by how many people there were given the current pandemic. The seats/tables were blocked off both inside and outside, which makes sense. I ordered one scoop that was half mint cookies and cream and half pistachio. My friend ordered one scoop of fresh banana ice cream. My other friend ordered one scoop of chocolate hazelnut ice cream. I really loved how fresh and flavorful the pistachio was! I think it tasted really yummy with the equally flavorful mint cookies and cream! This is definitely my new go-to-combo! My friends also raved about their fresh banana and chocolate hazelnut ice creams, so that's a great sign! The staff was friendly and efficient! The service was super quick, which was great because I wanted to get away from people ASAP haha. Overall, we had a great experience and LOVED our respective ice cream flavors! I think I'm gonna try the chocolate hazelnut next time we go!

Tons of seats indoors and out. Tasty ice cream treats and cool art. I was too full from dinner but took a pint and cones to go.

    Pandan in kiddie size

Are you really a Bostonian if you don't make JP licks a weekly ritual? We stopped by after visiting the Zoo lights on a Tuesday night around 10pm as it was one of the only dessert places open in JP (They close at midnight btw). I like this location in particular because of how spacious it is and how many outdoor seating tables there are, especially during Covid. There wasn't anyone else in the store with us so we felt pretty safe when ordering but they also labeled the floors to enforce social distancing pretty well here. They have the classic cookie dough, mint chip, vanilla, strawberry, etc flavors but love how JP licks also advertises their seasonal flavors - this time around was ube and pandan so we opted for these. I got a kiddie size for the pandan and my friend got a small ube. The total came out to a little over $10 which seems a bit high for me since I ordered a tiny little size! But anyways, the flavors were amazing, very creamy, very prominent ube / potato flavors coming through. It felt like I was eating the ice cream I had back in south east Asia!!! But honestly, both the pandan and Ube tasted to alike, I wish I ordered another flavor to switch it up a bit. Overall, JP licks is always a safe bet and is SO DELICIOUS AND CREAMY. This JP location isn't my favorite and I wouldn't go out of my way to come to this one in parotcilar just because it's so out of the way from where I live and the surrounding area is a bit meh but love that they're open so late and love the flavors overall!

Perfect late-night spot for a coffee, tea, or an indulgent dessert and ice cream at midnight -- this is the place to go.

It makes sense if they are renovating the whole building. They have both bubble tea and frozen yogurt with plenty of topping choices. My favorite flavors are the mango, pineapple, and coconut. I love the fresh fruit and popping boba and mochi for the toppings. As with many froyo spots they charge by weight so depending on how much you loaded up would be the cost. I believe they also had 2 different size containers. In the past I remember my total being between $10-$15 so it can definitely add up! The owners also seem nice I think they tried offering a free milk tea that was made as a test for me and my friends that were hanging out in the space. Hopefully once the space is done with renovation they will be back.

Unfortunately, haggis isn't available every day, so when we visited on a Sunday evening, it was not on the menu. That was definitely disappointing to find out. Instead, we ordered the Scotch egg, sliders, and the deep-fried Mars bar. The Scotch egg was good, but at $13 for a single egg, it felt a bit overpriced. It came with a small side salad, though I think serving two eggs instead would have made it a better value. The sliders were a pleasant surprise. The beef was clearly high quality, and they were the perfect size if you want to enjoy a great burger without committing to a full one. To finish, we shared the deep-fried Mars bar, and it was absolutely delicious. It's definitely a rich dessert, so it's perfect for sharing between two people. I personally would have preferred it with vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream, but it was still a great way to end the meal. Overall, I'd love to come back and finally try the haggis, but based on this visit, I'd definitely recommend the sliders and the deep-fried Mars bar.
