To order you go up to a little window and there's a few tables on the street to eat at. The workers were really nice and helpful for picking a flavor. We got 3 baby cups with banana pudding, strawberries & cream, and London fog. The banana pudding and London fog were pretty good and had a nice strong flavor, but the strawberries & cream just felt a little lackluster because it seemed like a pretty average strawberry ice cream. I wouldn't probably go again but maybe get a different flavor.
You order at an outside counter, there does not appear to be indoor seating. They advertise their ice cream is actually made from scratch. Tried the cherry pie and Danny's minty chip. Both were very good. Their cones are delicious. Not all the flavors they advertise on line were available.
The only think worse than the service was the ice cream. Ice cream was freezer burnt. I ordered it in a cone and I received it in a cup with a cone with a thumb size hole on the side on top and a, "sorry about that". Im not surprised the cone broke given it was so stale. I am surprised server didn't offer a sugar cone or to try again.

The first couple bites are tasty but once you get halfway the peppermint starts tasting too strong. It's more stings of mint than creamy sweet mint flavor. Overall, it was some okay icecream but nice being able to support our local businesses.
I love the unique flavor options at Jamie's - I had a really hard time chosing which to get! Jamie's is open later than many sweet treat places in the area and super convenient with the window side ordering option. On a weeknight, it was popping with many enjoying their ice cream on a hot summer night. I got the brown butter cookie dough which was amazing - so creamy with the hint of salt that countered the sweetness so well! I will be back to try more flavors
I visited Jamie's for the first time to try their matcha and ice cream. The place immediately stood out because of its clean, aesthetically pleasing interior and consistent branding. It makes a great first impression (visually) We order a matcha latte, pistachio ice cream on a cone and strawberry ice cream. I mentioned that I wanted my ice cream to go. After receiving the matcha, we waited about 10 minutes for the ice cream (the shop being nearly empty as it was close to closing time.) We checked back with the cashier, who had apparently forgotten our order. When we finally received it, my ice cream was served in a cup with a cone on top. I asked if there was a lid available, but was told there wasn't. The matcha latte had chunks of matcha powder that made the drink hard to enjoy. Overall, the atmosphere and design were great, the service and product didn't live up to the visual appeal. It was an okay experience, but neither the matcha nor the ice cream stood out enough.
Blueberry ginger sorbet & strawberry limeade sorbet My mom tells me to eat ginger and put it in this and that.so, when I saw a blueberry ginger sorbet I was quite interested. It had a very strong and intense flavor that I really liked. The main flavor was the blueberry but it also had notes of the ginger which made it feel good to eat. Like I wasn't eating something sweet and sugary. Very fruit taste but also felt healing? Sadly, the flavor was not part of the fixed menu so I'm not sure if i'll ever get the chance to try it again but it was SO GOOD. I wish I could have a whole carton of it. Staff were so sweet when they saw our lil puppet with us and gave us a nice pup cup which Twix did not end up eating lol she loves fruited and veggies I guess cause she wanted mine
I went to the new location near Cambridge and loved it! I had two baby scoops in a small cup - one of the London fog and one of the banana pudding and was delighted by the flavors and textures of both. The person at the cashier was very kind and didn't complain about us requesting multiple samples. She was also very informative and told us about how they make their own ice cream starter in house and for the London fog, they add tea to the starter, which is why it really tasted like a true tea ice cream. Ambiance was cute; it's a bit small but didn't have any issues finding a spot to sit when we came in the early evening. Would highly recommend!
It is a little walk up place where you order from the window. It's not your typical ice cream selection, but has some different flavors, which seem to rotate. We got brown butter cookie dough and chocolate brownie flavors. Both flavors were very good and you could tell it was high quality ice cream. I wanted a waffle cone, but it was kind of late when we went and they were out of waffle cones, so I got a cup instead. I definitely want to go back! It was yummy!
I love how cute and convenient this place is. The flavors are fun and interesting to try. We got the oat latte and banana pudding, and we really liked the banana pudding. The portions are pretty big, and none of us could finish.
Definitely try the earl grey ice cream! The hint of citrus makes it a little different and gives it nice additional flavor. Mocha chip also tasty although more typical. A little pricey but more worth it with more scoops so bring a friend or two to share a cup with :).
A friend and I visited on a hot July afternoon, and we opted for an ice cream flight. (If there's ever an option for an ice cream flight, always get the ice cream flight.) Luckily, they didn't have too many flavors to choose from, so we chose our flavors rather easily and ordered from the little window. Our order came out within minutes, and we were able to find seating on a nearby bench. Even though it was a weekday afternoon, there were a bunch of people out and about and enjoying the summer weather, so seating went kinda fast, but people vacated quickly enough so that the wait wasn't too bad. The ice cream was worth the wait and the trek for us. The fresh strawberry flavor was our favorite because it gave us all the nostalgia. I'd definitely come back to try any of their other rotating flavors.
Came here for a post dinner sweet treat and there weren't many others there so it was pretty quiet. It was also raining pretty heavily and the inside space was closed for some reason so we had to place our order outside and immediately leave the vicinity due to the rain. They were also out of a flavor I wanted which was unfortunate, but the service was otherwise fine and quick. It's a little steep in pricing for the scoop size, but the flavors were tasty enough. Overall, I don't think I would come out of my way to try it again, but it was a nice dessert. read more
It said online it was closed at 8:30 but there was a line outside so we checked it out and it was pretty good! I enjoyed my banana pudding scoop very much. My husband said the mint chip was fairly good. My sister-in-law was disappointed with the London fog which was too subtle and tasted like vanilla. In any case. A refreshing treat, and we like that it's homemade! It is a service counter window and there's only takeout so no ambience to speak of. The staff was nice and quick to serve our orders. read more

Great experience at Jamie's! Pros: -Flights of 6 flavors!! In two trips you could try almost all 13 flavors and that is of course my plan -Great staff -Some outdoor seating -A few vegan options Out of the 6 flavors we tried, our #1 is Milky Milky Chocolate followed by Milk Dunked Cookie (similar to cookies & cream). read more
Found this cute ice cream shop around the corner from us and just had to try it. Only $3.50 for a "baby" scoop which is just one regular and honestly plenty!! And omg delicious. Not your typical flavors... the cookies n'peanut butter is vegan and the peanut butter profile is STRONG, and it's loaded with cookie. The brown sugar cookie dough base is not a vanilla and is perfectly sweet and not overpowering, and the dough is made with brown sugar too. Tried samples of others and they were all equally as great, will 100% be returning! read more

Cute ice cream spot next to Brother and Sister's cafe. Conveniently located right by the Brookline Village T line. Ice cream always tastes creamy and fresh. The shop has some unique and often seasonal flavors making it an enticing surprise treat. Options to add toppings and have a waffle cone for more cutomizations! Great ice cream spot in Brookline! All the flavors are delicious, but what really stood out was just how friendly all the employees are! It is a walk up window where you order and then they call your name when your ice cream is ready. We all got the baby scoops which was only 3.50$, and still a very good portion! The night we went, we tried the strawberry flavor, cookie dough, and cherry pie. Cookie dough is of course always amazing, but the strawberry was probably my overall favorite here. They also have a few tables and chairs if you don't want to walk around with your ice cream. I am excited to be back often this summer! read more

Jamie's Ice Cream held a long awaited party this week celebrating its grand opening. The flavor menu was incomplete as of yet the samples that got passed around the neighborhood and guests included Vanilla, Strawberry, Oreo-cookies-dunked-in-milk for the kids and Gourmet Pistachio. The Strawberry was by far a favorite flavor of mine. The best I ever had. ***Must order*** Whimsical retro. read more

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that Jamie's has opened up two doors down from my art studio (oh it's DEFINITELY a good thing!). I've tried almost all the flavors and they're continuously delicious, creamy and the perfect consistency. My favs are strawberry, milk dunked cookie, mint chip, cold brew chip and iced chai. Highly recommend the flight to sample 6 flavors at one time! read more

This new spot opened up recently next to brothers and sisters cafe (and is owned by the same people), been wanting to try it, so what better day than National Ice Cream Day! I got the Brown Butter Cookie Dough, which sadly was not great. The base didn't taste like much, simple sweet cream and the dough pieces were an odd texture and taste, not my cup of tea. But everything else was great! Pistachio was lovely, nutty with soft crunchy roasted pistachios throughout. Iced chai latte hit the right tangy spiced notes, I'd add a crunchy mix-in like ginger snaps to really take it to the next level. The cherry pie was delightful. And milk dunked cookie was a nice take on cookies and cream. Overall, a great new spot, that finally brings ice cream back to Station St after over 30 years (some of us might remember Tuesday's and the incredible pumpkin ice cream they made before the owner left to Maine and closed down). out of five cones. Best paired with a stop at the Brothers & Sisters cafe next door and KT Tunstall - Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. read more

I love Brothers and Sisters and have been so excited for Jamie's to open. I really wanted to like this place. It was unfortunately $6 for one tiny scoop. I left sadly feeling like I'd rather buy a gourmet pint from the grocery store for the same price. I saw another reviewer post about a flight of 6 scoops for $10 so I'm not sure how to justify the price of one scoop. The two people working were visibly unhappy/unpleasant and were on the verge of rude when calling names for pick up. They were out of several flavors which is understandable for a newer business and still disappointing since they're only open a few days of the week. The ice cream is good but ice cream usually is so I was hoping for more from Jamie's. I have my fingers crossed they turn it around but right now my next visit would be as a last resort. read more
