I had NO idea what I was getting into at first, but my crooked teeth have been a bother to me for a couple of decades. At the urge of my amazing dentist, Dr. Scott Decker, he got me set up with the AMAZING team at Molen. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Aaron and his lovely and kind staff, and I actually look forward to my appointments! That says a lot coming from my past of scary dentists and painful procedures... They have been so kind and attentive, thorough and explanatory to any questions I have without feeling rushed. Especially during these Covid times I'm very grateful for these amazing human beings and their skills. Their offices are super clean, staff is masked, protocols in place. I just finally got braces today after another procedure I had done, and while I was nervous going in, I was pretty giddy on my exit. I can't recommend Molen Orthodontics enough! From consultation, to surgery, to checkups, to finally braces at the ripe age of 40... it's been awesome. If you have been putting off orthodontics, go see them!

My son has been in his braces now about 2 years. 5 times now we have had to return within days…read morebecause a bracet popped off. The issue was addressed with the orthodontist and he blamed the kid saying oh he is obviously chewing on his mouth gaurd during his sport..which is a rude assumption because he never even wears his mouth gaurd! In addition one of the occurances of a bracet coming off was literally one minute after my son got out of the chair, we walked up to schedule the next appointment and all of a sudden he tells me a bracet came off. Its crazy to think about home much money this place charges for braces compared to others and this is the kind of product result. Looking at previous reviews-looks like this has been occurring for years-In addition my sons friends at school say the same thing is happening to their braces from Molen. Time to rethink the products you are using.

First of all, I am a licensed dental hygienist. This review is from my experience as both a dental…read moreprofessional and a mom. I would absolutely recommend Dr Hopke and his office. My daughter got her braces off this week and she is very happy with the results. The support staff and assistants are great! Scheduling is easy. We loved the attention to detail throughout the process. My daughter is on the spectrum and they made sure to explain everything to her in language that she could understand, have her demonstrate how to put in the bands or retainers herself, and they really empowered her to take care of her own teeth. State insurance paid for her braces. Very thankful for that. He does accept state insurance. His office is state of the art! His office is also clean and kid friendly! Over the 3 year process of braces I believe we waited more than 20 minutes twice. They are very good and staying on time. It is a busy office but they really do their best. In medicine, some things can't be predicted so giving grace when they run behind is just as important as them giving grace when we run behind. I am hoping my son will be next to have treatment here. Full disclosure: I am an RDH in CA. Worked for 16 years as a hygienist and now I drive a school bus for PSD. An employee at Carson elementary recommended Dr Hopke and I'm so glad she did!

Sharing My Experience for Other Families…read more I am sharing my personal experience with Hopke Orthodontics because I want other families to ask questions and consider getting a second opinion before making important decisions about their child's orthodontic treatment. My son was treated there for approximately three years. At first, his teeth seemed to be straightening well, but over time I became concerned because I was not seeing the progress I expected with his bite. He also developed inflammation, and when I took him to his hygienist, I was told that something did not seem right. I contacted the orthodontist because I wanted him to look into what was happening. When we followed up about two weeks later, I was told that he had not had a chance to look into my son's situation. As a parent, I found that very disappointing. We were also repeatedly told that my son would likely need jaw surgery. After leaving the practice, we got another orthodontic opinion and were given a different possible treatment approach involving braces, rubber bands, and possibly removing one tooth, which may give him a chance to avoid jaw surgery. I understand that orthodontists can have different professional opinions, and every child's case is different. I am not saying that another family will have the same experience. I am simply sharing what happened with my son and why I chose to leave. For families considering this office, especially families whose children have an underbite, I strongly recommend asking questions, understanding all available treatment options, and getting a second opinion before committing to a long treatment plan or jaw surgery. I am sharing this because our children's health and future deserve careful attention, communication, and a treatment plan that parents fully understand.
