Indeed when I emailed her my response to the abrupt cancellation (essentially this review with a mention that I would leave negative reviews) her response in full was "Thank you!". Taking care of yourself and treating other people's time and energy respectfully are not mutually exclusive.

This is harder to put into words, but Kyle also honored my sister's memory. She was musician. She loved Porland. She loved the Beatles. He displayed her instruments, played Beatles music and had some photos of her around so people could see that this wasn't just "stuff" -- it was the cherished memories of a life well lived. Kyle gave a complete and prompt accounting of the sale and left the house beautifully cleaned, and sent us a lovely letter at the end along with a check. My family and I will forever be grateful for how Kyle and his team made such a difficult process so much easier. Thank you Kyle.

I get my produce all your long here. I get my plants and flowers in the spring and summer. I get my Christmas trees here in the winter as well as Halloween hay corn stocks. They don't sell meat, but we usually end up with multiple items that were not on our shopping list. There are a couple of times a year, when we want strawberries for canning, or a tree for Christmasing, when no place else will do. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are many other Portlanders that have their own times of year when they simply have to come here.

I was not greeted, and I spent some time in the store to the point that I was the only shopper. Even passing by the front desk I felt it was cold. I base my rating on my cold experience. As a person of color, I did not feel welcomed. I saw some items that are way overpriced as online they are cheaper. I get a few dollars more for a locally owned business, however, at this point, I couldn't justify spending my money with this place of business. I would highly recommend making a point to have better customer service.

They have a lot of religious stuff, that I wouldn't find elsewhere, and the staff was very helpful. I like the fact, that they have lots of parking lot. It's also convenient, that there's an Asian Market in the same shopping area. Food carts if you walk a little further. There was a turquoise, good condition leather jacket, that I almost bought, if only I could zip it up. They have a lot of good quality brand, too, that you would normally find at Goodwill Boutique.

Inside is a massive space filled with every type of treasure imaginable. Their clothes section has a great selection and includes plus sizes. Shoes are a bit hit or miss but they make up for that in other ways. My absolute FAVORITE part of the store is their book selection. It's organized by genre and then by author which makes looking for you perfect next read so much easier. I also like that they are inexpensive compared to some other places around town. They run random sales on top of their weekly 25% and 50% off so follow their Facebook page for that information. Their employees have always been very kind and helpful anytime I've needed something from them.
