He texted me this morning that he got $15,000 for the truck but said he would try to get more! End of the day, ended up with a payout of $17,206.50. Of course State Farm took deductible, $400 for their appraiser and storage fees! Nico's fee was a flat $550, not a percentage of the value! He told me if he didn't get more than the proposed insurance payout, I would get the fee back!!! very pleased customer!!

We met him as a group and used his "triage" service, and he swiftly went through a multi-generational jewelry collection and tested and separated pieces that had significant potential value or simply contained gold that could be melted down. As he was going through everything we brought, he educated us about gemstones, how the jewelry and auction industry works, how to maximize value when selling and his connections/resources for selling items and more--he was a wealth of information. It was obvious that he was a total professional who's been doing this for a long time. Plus, he was a really nice guy! He also took care of getting the gold pieces we didn't plan to auction or sell melted down and gave us a very favorable commission rate compared to what we would've gotten from a jewelry store or other company that liquidates gold. They said they were about to close down for the next 4 days but they should have it done in an hour or two before they closed. 45 minutes later I got a call saying it was done. The quality was stunning, they used the exact same font that Base Camp uses and the finish was insane. I'm guessing they use LASERS or something?
