I have an out of state visitor coming in and needed my house to get cleaned. Now, normally I would just do it -- but like, I didnt want to. Point Blank. I inquired around and found J Thurst Cleaning Services to have the lowest prices (by far). To give you an idea, I was quoted upwards of $500 for a job that I pay less than a 3rd of with J Thurst. I will not reveal pricing, as they are subject to change -- but Jolene (Owner) will be happy to discuss those with you. Jolene and her sister arrived, about a half hour after scheduled. There was some traffic that day which accounted for that. They are a pay by the house type of cleaning team and she charged me accordingly, taking into account that they were tardy. They split up -- which made everything move more efficiently and quickly. I would also like to add: their hourly rate is for TWO people -- not one. So you get double the cleaning for a cheaper rate than most other places. I learned alot about Jolene and her family. She is very personable and friendly. I had only a few requests: 1. Get the dust 2. Clean the floors 3. Blowup my bathroom with Mr. Clean They did all of these things. My floor has never felt cleaner, the dust and debris from pet dander was gone (that was short lived) and my bathroom was clean. To be fair to the review purpose, I should add that there were some areas that were looked over or not as clean as others -- but nothing major and nothing that I couldn't just quickly run a sponge over. I had to move out of my apartment and needed someone to clean up after everything had been taken out after three years of living there. I found Jolene thru Yelp's business finder services and after going thru all of the proposals, she was the most affordable by far. Some of the other companies/individuals were charging upwards of $500-plus for a 450 square-foot, one bedroom apartment. I was shocked. I spoke to Jolene and we agreed on a date and time and she even changed the time to an hour earlier when I asked. Very flexible and easy to work with. Jolene brought her adult daughter with her to clean and I disappeared for 2 hours. She would give me updates along the way and when the 2 hours were almost up, she let me know. That's when we negotiated to pay for an additional 30 minutes. Jolene was picky about not stopping until the apartment was clean to her standards, which meant no dust, no lint, but absolutely pristine. She even worked in the cabinets and found some things I had left behind. When I came back, the place looked like it had never been lived in and I quickly scheduled a move-out interview while the apartment still looked presentable. Jolene is efficient, very clean, has great attention to detail, and really cares about each job that she does. If she didn't, she wouldn't have kelp insisting on cleaning small places that I considered insignificant but to her, they were a big deal. And she's affordable, which is amazing for this level of cleanliness. If you're looking for a one-time job or a monthly cleaning, Jolene can do it all. Had them do a move out cleaning and they missed the microwave, the front of the dishwasher, the inside of the cabinets, didn't vacuum under the couch cushions, didn't clean the top of the makeup desk in the master bedroom, the bathroom faucets weren't properly cleaned, or clean out the washer and dryer. They charged $400 for half-ass work. We had to go back and do the stuff they missed and the property manager had to have her cleaning person come to re-clean and charged us an additional $200 because of this. We tried calling them to have them come back so we weren't charged the $200, but they didn't answer and never called back after leaving them a voicemail. read more
