If I could leave a lower review... I would. Let's start with the rude drive-through employee cutting me off twice before I could even get two words out. I proceeded to drive around to the window to receive a paper menu, and he told me to drive back through to the menu on the intercom. I left and never plan on returning to this establishment. Actually decent quality seafood at a truly affordable price! Everything tasted fresh. We had a garlic box for a crab boil and a fried box with fish, fried oysters. You can always tell when fried oysters are old, and these were most definitely fresh af. It's a funny little place with a drive through, but you can tell the food has people coming back because we did see quite a few other customers pulled up as well. Pro tip; be prepared for your garlic box to be served cold, which is purposeful cos the seafood won't overcook in your box. They were thoughtful, fast, and taking as many precautions as possible. When you walk inside it looks like an old repurposed restaurant. The owners have putt no money into the asthetics of the restaurant. They have a cooler case with prepackaged food and they have a counter where you can order hot food. I initially was going to get the crab until I saw the crabs in what looked like a deli case prepackaged (it didn't look appealing to me) and I could not tell if the deli cooler was actually cold. I decided to order the whiting (fried). They cooked our food to order ( yes, we had to wait but I didn't mind), but when we got the food home it was soggy. All of the fried fish and french fries were all soggy nothing was crispy. I was disappointed. They taste of the fish was bland as well. You could tell they used a premixed batter. When a friend said that this place was really good and he skipped over Spices to come here, I said ok lemme go check it out. It's not far from the Arlington Expressway and the building is shaped like a famous chain fast food place, but I don't recall what it was. I went in already knowing what I want, a snow crab combo. Walking in, you are immediately startled by the doorbell. It's extremely loud. There's a lot of open space with a few seats in the main area. They could probably add some tables and chairs so people could eat there. The food cases showed off everything they had and an older gentleman, very polite, prepped my tray. I paid thanked him and I was on my way. I opened the tray when I got home and oh my goodness, the garlic/butter/seasoning was more than plentiful. My shrimp were swimming in it. I usually make two meals out of it but I was hungry and ate the entire thing hahaha. Sooooo good and fresh. That's another good seafood place for Arlington. read more

Great Garlic Crabs and everything else too love the food and the service. You gotta try it!

First day in Jacksonville and my mouth was watering for some seafood. I researched a few places and quickly decided on this one, because it was in close range. The reviews were pretty good as I read them so I was pretty confident that the food will be good. I ended up getting a little bit of everything. The large crab clusters, jumbo shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes with their special sauce. And it was definitely worth the wait getting back to the room! The lady was very informative and friendly. I believe she knew we were from out of town, but yet still helpful. This location was about two miles from where we stayed and I will definitely be back for more. read more

Their fried blue crab is . The crabs are fresh and they prepare the food for you after you order. They also have preprepared meals, which I have not tried. Only thing I don't like -- they sometimes run out of some items early in the day and they can't confirm their crab shipment. read more

I dont know how I did not know one of my favorite chains was in arlington..but then again like most we stay on our sides of town. While hankering for some crab legs this place came up.. people talk about juicy crab.. but di they know about the crab tray.. for those who don't know when I say want crabs I do not want a low country bowl in a bag. I want what jc has fresh crab and seafood ....they ask u spicy or not be be prepared for a about 3 clusters maybe some shrimp if u fancy to be smothered in herbs seasoning and butter which I take home and heat up later...with a whole egg, sausage, and corn mixed in as well..very different taste..and they have drive thru....what......enjoy read more

My co-worker and I chose the three kinds of seafood/meat for lunch-to be delivered to our job downtown today. We had fish, shrimp and chicken tenders with French fries. They delivered on time and very hot. The tray almost burned my co-worker it was so hot. I feel it could of been packed a little safer. They also did not include any shrimp sauce, napkins or utensils. If people want to do business with deliver, curbside, or pick up-THE RESTAURANTS SHOULD MAKE SURE THESE ITEMS ARE INCLUDED. They loose one star for this. The fried shrimp were so flavorful. The fish had a lot of small bones, which I am used to-so no problem there, but eat with caution-because the bones were very small. The chicken tenders and French fries were very good. I thought their might have some hush puppies or bread included(not). I would come here again, but not for delivery m. I will pick it up myself to make sure everything is there. read more

Went around 8pm on a week night to this location based in the reviews despite the area of town. Was pleasantly surprised at the great service, freshly made food, good prices, and the seasoning they use in the shrimp and fries were so good that I needed no dipping sauce!! Was visiting Jacksonville from Georgia. Went to this place on a recommendation from someone that lives local and I was excited to try because it looks so good in the pics. First of all I didn't know it was served cold...crab legs, sausage, corn on the cob, potato, shrimp, everything. It had a lot of butter on it but not very much seasoning and the crab inside was sparse and kinda mushy. Not impressed at all, and for 60 bucks for 2 people through a drive-thru I felt gypped. I'm not giving it four stars because of the decor, but the food. The place looks rundown, unsettling, trashy and busted. But the food is good. Portions are large enough to get full from. The prices are reasonable and I like this spot. They have several different food options. Garlic or fried. The garlic menu you can have them heat it up for you or you take it cold. This place let me order two full crab meals and handed me a Togo box full of FROZEN CRAB AND CORN AND BOILED EGG that had been PRECOOKED!! ....otherwise decent but definitely did not finish my food. The wife bought a $5 lottery ticket and won $100. We decided to go out for some seafood. After checking out several restaurants and finding them all to be overpriced, we found this one on Yelp with only one review (a little alarming). As the previous reviewer wrote, this take-out joint is in an old Hardees location. The prices seemed right and so off I went to bring home some food. Surprisingly, all six of us thought we had the best tasting snow crabs we had ever eaten. They were very large The jumbo shrimp was also five stars. The person who served me was very pleasant and took time to explain how everything is prepared and spiced. Instead of continuing to read a rambling review, just get in your car and check it out. You will not be disappointed. We are already planning a return trip. My bill for three combos plus a jumbo shrimp platter was $79.14. It served six. read more
